Well suited our requirements. The cabin accommodation was very comfortable and clean, in fact two cabins were provided for the three of us. One new and the other refurbished. The location is a bit out of town but is certainly peaceful. Our host John, was welcoming and allowed us early access, which was much appreciated. We had dinner in town at the Sicilian Restaurant on Saturday night - food and service was sensational, then on to the Aradale Lunatic Asylum for a bit of ghosting. What fun !
A small item but never the less important to us for comfort and ambience. There were no reading or bed lamps in the main cabin. The cabin has been essentially refurbished, but the original fluorescent ceiling lighting remains. Kind of spoils the mood.

It was a lovely, quiet cabin. Great pressure in the shower. Bed was comfy.
The only reasons it lost 1 star is because the heater didn't work and the couch is too small, even a 2.5 seater would work for comfort. The morning temp was 1c, and I couldn't get the heater working. The lost mark was because there were no directions in the cabin. It took nearly 45mins before I got it working, and I left half hour later. The cabin would benefit from basic information on how to use the appliances. Having said all that, I would not hesitate to recommend this property and will definitely be back on my next Melb/Adl trip.

The property was perfect and just what we needed. Included all amenities we needed for our young children and was a great size so that we were not cramped up.
The only issue I had was that the floor was very dirty, as soon as I put my crawling baby on the floor she was black all over. I used wipes to clean the floor so we could put her down to play. (Seemed like it just needed to be moped properly) Wasn’t a major issue, but maybe just something to keep in mind as those cabins are made for families

We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The owner/manager who greeted me was warm and welcoming. Our cabin was clean and well laid out with everything we needed. They'd put the heat on in expectation of our arrival, which we really appreciated. The park was quiet and in natural surroundings so it was a wonderful, relaxing trip to catch up with my dear friend and do the Aradale Asylum tour. We'll be staying again and recommending to everyone in our circle. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts.
Nothing - we wished we could have stayed longer and explored the area further. Next time we'll book a few more nights.

First impression was meeting the absolutely lovely lady in the office and I immediately felt welcomed. The park is in beautiful condition with very good facilities and play area. We stayed in the two bedroom cabin which exceeded all of our expectations. Plenty of room, comfortable couch, picnic table on the deck, good size kitchen area and comfortable beds. Very highly recommend G'day parks if anyone is staying in Ararat!!
Genuinely did not find anything to dislike

Great size and most facilities supplied. Great value for money for sure especially for a family situation as there is not only a playground and trampoline, there is also a heated pool. Last stay was at a roadside motel which was very noisy, this park is quiet cannot hear the highway noise at all, and is still accessible to town and facilities where we toured, If/when we come back we will Definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality. And service with a smile, the staff went above and beyond.
I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Very good accommodation, suitable for families. My parents loved the accommodation & ambience, and wanted to extend the stay. The hotel manager at front desk is friendly, she helped me book a second night (fortunately a cancellation came in the morning of departure, as the hotel was fully booked out.). Not too far from the town centre as well. If you are in Ararat or want a relaxing stopover, this is the place to be.
Nothing.

Excellent value. New cabin. Had everything we needed. Bed very comfortable. Quite bush like location although close to town.Made feel welcome on arrival. Will definitely be our new go to overnight accommodation when travelling for appointments.
1 step to cabin. Had a rail but step was painted and a bit slippery when wet. Noticed before using not a problem but could be.

In terms of value for money, it's worth every dollar. The rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the cabin is large and spacious and each cabin has the privacy you need. I stopped in Park for one day on a trip and it was lovely. I will definitely come back to the place on my next trip.

As holiday parks go, it not only met expectations though was in fact better than expected. This may not be the case for all cabin types, but the 2BR family cabin (Cabin B) was very good. Check in and check out were extremely easy and the park amenity was generally as expected.
Eventual upgrade perhaps of the Pool facilities, though current pool is perfectly functional.
