Location is good and convenient for a short layover for our spirit of Tasmania trip. No noisy neighbours and staff if pretty nice and informative. I like that they offer buffet meals during our dinner and it’s affordable while they give us 10% discount also as we booked on the nights.

It’s could be nice if the housekeeping staff can give a deep clean on the shower and toilets tiles grout cause dirt’s and mould are saying hi to us.

Clean, renovated, warm!! Great shower, comfortable beds. Modern and totally updated. The closeness to a venue that I was required to be at late evening then early the following morning. Not many options in area. It’s not a holiday destination. If you need to be in Corio Bay it’s definitely 5 star behind the doors. Suited my overnight stay. I had to be close by.

Grounds could do with tidying up. Make it less hwy like.

The rooms had obviously been recently renovated, were comfortable and well-appointed.

I think they could utilise the back section of the rooms better, there was a back door that led out to a covered space, which was a nice spot to sit in the morning, but there were a lot of leaves that could have been blown away to make it more inviting.

The room was very spacious and beautiful for myself and partner. The bathroom was amazing also with the lovely rain type shower. Great for our overnight stay. The buffet dinner was also delicious too

The bed would be the only thing to complain about, one side there was a massive dip and I couldn't sleep on that side as I felt like I was falling off the bed

Neat and. Clean place. The rooms were at the back and a bit lonely. The first night we were a bit uncomfortable if it was safe but realised that it was fine. The room was clean and bathroom was modern with all amenities. It is right on princess highway, so was great ti get in and get out.

The motels rooms were absolutely beautifully clean and the beds and pillows were so comfortable, we ate at the buffet and the food was amazing so much to choose from and every station the food was fresh and hot and the salads and prawns were at a cool temperature, all the staff were of the highest we’ve ever encountered. So well done to all staff and management we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again with no hesitation.

The bathroom was very modern and the room was spacious. Beds were very comfortable.

For the price, I would've liked a microwave and crockery/cutlery in the room. Other accommodation that I booked either side of my stay at the Gateway, had these items and were cheaper in price.

Sparkling clean spacious room. The room has been recently fully renovated, including bathroom. Mattresses were amazing. It was very quiet at night. All appliances were brand new. There was no microwave though. So, parents, please, mind that. We didn’t go to the restaurant. But if we did we would have received 10% discount. Instead we ordered food into the room online via me&u site. We had 2 salads and a steak sandwich. Delivery was fast and the food was delicious. Location of the hotel deserves praise as well. There are a playground, sports ground, stadium, McDonalds and KFC nearby.

The motel is convenient when travelling on the Spirit of Tasmania and offers a very good buffet dinner.

The cost of the accommodation is higher than comparable motels, but is offset by the discounted buffet dinner for seniors plus the added 10 percent discount on the meal for being a house resident.

It was new and spacious for a family of 4, we were given two rooms and 4 beds with a very reasonable price. And Wi-fi speed is fast and the room looked new ( we were told the hotel was just renovated during Covid). And we had a la carte dinner there and the food is good and in big portion. And a very nice feature is that they provide barcode for us to order food from our room.

There is no laundry service though we don't stay for long, it will be good to have it if we come for a longer stay.
