The receptionist on arrival was lovely and helped us with. The bathroom was a lovely size and the lounge was comfortable. full size fridge and a decent freezer for our ice-cream treats for the grandkids. Not far to shops and the train station & tram stops are only a short walk

The male receptionist was quite arrogant, and I felt I was putting him out asking about public transport for our extended family to travel together into the Aquarium

Comfy bed. We got upgraded to 2 a bdrm suite :D Its quite a large apartment. Large balcony. Everything provided in the kitchen. Quiet accommodation. Close walk to shops, cafes, supermarkets and restaurants. I should also add that we previously booked this accommodation earlier in the year and unfortunately we had to cancel. Even though it was booked as a "no refund for cancellation" booking, upon writing to the accom to explain our circumstances, they very kindly refunded us the full amount. We greatly appreciated this :D

The location of Camberwell Serviced Apartments was very convenient for a number of engagements we had close by, and that influenced us and caused us to be very happy with it. Our two-bedroom superior apartment was clean and comfortable, with good beds, a bathroom for each bedroom and self-catering facilities. It's not five-star, but was more than adequate for our needs. In fact, the chairs and sofa were more comfortable than many places at which we stay. The on-site secure parking (needs to be reserved and $10 a night) was a bonus, and needed if you have a car. Secure entry to the apartment block was appreciated. Reception staff were friendly and helpful (but reception is not open at nights). There is an enormous range of shops within easy walking distance (up to 500 metres), and nearby trams.

Our apartment fronted a busy street, and there was a reasonable amount of traffic noise.

Excellent location for my appointment in Hawthorn. Felt very secure, it was very clean, and beds were comfortable. Booked fairly late, so when the staff member said the car park was pretty much full, I very much appreciated her offering for me to take her bay after she left work. It was very convenient for unloading and loading with my 91 year old mother.

It took me till the next morning to work out how to use the blind. I haven’t experienced electronic controls for the blind before, so perhaps an information sheet might have been helpful. Once I knew, it was excellent. I couldn’t work out how to put the TV onto normal free to air TV, so we didn’t use it and missed it. Again, perhaps an information sheet (How to get normal TV) might also have been helpful. We arrived after hours so there was no one I could ask as it wasn’t an emergency. I was very grateful the shower was flat to walk in to, but the entrance was the bare minimum and just being clear glass right to the ceiling it was a bit difficult to distinguish the space from the glass for my elderly Mum.

Location was great. Very clean. Large bed.

Very nice apartment. Clean and comfortable. Knew it was a surprise for our anniversary and they fulfilled the special request and left a bottle of wine in the room. Very grateful for that touch

The fact that they advertised that the room has a bathtub. Booked it specifically for that bathtub (my partner loves bathtubs and we dont have one). There was no bathtub in the room. They explained that there are 2(?) of their rooms that do not have one and we got assigned one of those - I believe that they should make it clear that that amenity is not guaranteed. The phone to contact help at the entrance is very difficult to make work - unclear instructions.

offered pick up and drop off taxi service on the booking.com website. but couldn't book that as website was not friendly at all[booking.com]. I tried to call customer service number provided and message as well. but no response from at all. have to spend more than $200 on taxi on both way. That was only the negative side.

This is the third time I have stayed here. It only gets better. Very comfortable, great parking, fantastic security. I feel really safe staying here. The apartments have everything you need whether you are staying for a night or longer. Can not recommend Camberwell Serviced Apartments highly enough.

You can hear a fair amount of noise from the apartments above - water running, doors closing etc. but it is certainly not a party place so the noise doesn’t go on too late. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about.

I liked that I could open the windows and shut the blinds. I like the perceived safe parking. I liked the perceived easy access.

To access the rubbish bin under the sink, one needed to reach the door from the bottom, there was no handle to draw the cupboard open. A possum rattled about at night, causing me to wake about five to six times. The "mandatory form" that was sent to me to be filled in prior to checking in did not work. I wasted time trying to get it to work.

Very nice, spacious interior and layout of apartment with good dish and silverware selection as well as good appliances. Didn’t use the stove though. Receptiom employees nice.

One night someone was parked in our spot and we had to use another person’s spot which made us feel bad.
