Plenty of space, kitchen facilities, comfortable, relatively quiet despite being on a major road, walking distance to shops, would have been easy walk to the train station (although I didn't take advantage of that this time), plentiful and reasonably secure* off-street parking (in an area where street parking is at a premium). And that when I needed an extra night - despite booking.com saying I couldn't have one - when I rang them up directly, they were quick to oblige.

Nitpicking things - most of the powerpoints including all those in the bedroom being right at floor level (meaning some plugs couldn't be used if they were the wrong shape), the heating only being available in one room (not the bedroom) and not being that efficient. One problem with the security of the parking - the slowness of the gates opening and closing. It meant that when I first went in to park, another car was able to follow me in despite that person not yet having checked in - whoops!

The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway with the family. Parking was easy and there was plenty of spots. Reception was easily accessible and he was very helpful. There was enough kitchen equipment to cook for our group of 7. I would stay here again.

The power points seem like an afterthought as they are in skirting boards on the floor. This made it difficult to plug in chargers to charge accessories. A powerboard could overcome this problem.

location, and space in the unit. other units above were a Great location and had plenty of space in the unit. Just a bit noisy with the other units above. Restaurants within walking distance. fooderies close to walking distance.

a map emailed as to which direction to walk to the unit, we walked the ; long way upstairs.a map could've been emailed to us with directions on which way to walk to the unit. We ended up taking the long way up the stairs.

Back again merely a week later than my previous stay. They gave me the same room. All my comments (mostly positive and some small nitpicks) can be repeated. Will add, since my work on this occasion involved travelling in to Melbourne (to perform in a concert at St Pauls Cathedral), that the property is very handy to public transport, being only a short walk from Tooronga station.

Great Location and cheapest price, tidy garden, good management! I booked Hawthorn Garden Apt in urgent need! The owner is super quick responding,very kind and friendly. (I was last minute canceled by airbnb booked before as the host could not be verified~scared experience)

Even though the facilities are old which need big money to renovate, it worth as you pay cheaper!

Overall a great unit. We were a little concerned as the reviews were not great. A great place to stay, friendly staff, clean unit, washing machine and dryer, parking on site, close to shops. Only complaint was the bed was hard. The gardens could probably use some up keep. We would definitely stay again as we were in Melbourne for a holiday not to sit in our accommodation all day

Beds too hard

Full 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen facilities though only used microwave and kettle. Washing machine and dryer available in apartment. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Could walk to supermarket/small shopping centre. Great shower.

Decor a little tired, microwave and some of the cups needed a clean- guests asked to clean own dishes so may have been missed by staff.

Great place and great price, love having full house to ourselves with off street parking for work ute

it was very clean, had a lot to offer with the kitchen appliances and dinner area and family room set up! was great as a family to also have the tv with options on the channels. the beds we’re comfortable and clean. great to have our car off the main road and our own car park area. we couldn’t fault anything. the reception man was very friendly and welcoming.

Proximity to where we needed to be. Secure Parking. Later checkout than usual was a benefit to us. Friendly hosts. Gorgeous gardens with prolifically flowering Camellias when we stayed.

Previous guests have damaged bench tops & cooking equipment, sadly. We stayed 2 times over 2 weeks, in two different apartments, and both had been damaged by inconsiderate guests. Taking that into consideration, however, we would definitely stay there again as the apartments were spacious & comfortable. I would note also that, although we accepted some oversight with the cleaning of the kitchen appliances, Management should look at this area of maintenance on a regular basis to lift the presentation of the property from this perspective.
