Sweets in room, excellent range of bathroom products, welcoming Cosy room, space for folding.and hanging. Nice bed, nice linens, staff were welcoming and I got in the room early

Something noted from other guests - the TV reception is finicky and seems to.be an ongoing issue. Fire alarm and evacuation was a pain but we'll handled. I do think the bar might have opened after we'd been let back in. Also noted that although it's a lovely new hotel.it does need cleaning to stay that way. I o served the big things were done but nooks and crevices were not as clean as they should have been. It's easy to get 10 out of 10 clean for a new hotel but 5 years down the line is when we know who's been dusting the corners.

The room was really well appointed with good heating, excellent shower and the ability to chrome cast to the tv very easily. Staff were very accommodating, the room was very clean and tidy. The location was great for being able to access both Swan Street for shopping and Victoria street for excellent Pho. There was also a nice little private outdoor seating area for our room which would be great during the right weather

There are no major complaints at all, a funny little quirk is the toilet roll holder is flat instead of round thus means that when you pull the paper from the roll it does go flying instead of rolling seamlessly. This is not a big deal at all but just an odd experience.

The Motley Hotel was exceptional. Our room was on the 7th floor so no street noise and lovely views of the city. We stayed for 4 nights and had breakfast on 2 mornings. The food was absolutely delicious. The room was a great size and well appointed, I always appreciate bathrooms which have enough room to store toiletries and this was a very well designed bathroom. The bed and pillows were super comfy. The location was fantastic, we could walk into the city or to Olympic Park to watch the Australian Open. There is a tram stop right outside but we preferred to walk. The artwork and decor around the hotel and in the rooms are gorgeous.

Wished we could have stayed for longer.

Excellent location... tram stops right in front of the hotel for easy city access. Bed was so comfortable and I need to buy that exact doona as it was the best I've ever come across! Trendy painting on the building opposite the balcony made for a brighter stay amongst the arty hotel vibe. Definitely recommend The Motley Hotel!

Parking... I have a ute and was lucky to not have to park it in the stackers. Only other problem was that when I went to leave the laundry bags were so close to my ute that I ran over them trying to manoeuvre my car in the small space provided. Best to not have the laundry stacked so close to a vehicle as they were extremely heavy for me to move!

I loved the colour and vibrancy of the property. The room was comfortable and practical. Ms Parker’s Bar was excellent . The furniture and fixtures were eclectic.

Size of the fridge in the room too small. And the room doors are very heavy and slam very loudly. This did actually affect my sleep when rooms close by were closing doors during the night. Checkin was extremely SLOW. The receptionist was lovely but she was looking at her screen for quite some time . The same deal with check out ? If your system is that slow, please update it.

The rooms were really modern and comfortable. The bed was SO comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. Also very quiet, couldn’t hear any outside noise whatever

A minibar would have been nice, there was a decent sized fridge but nothing in it other than tiny milk capsules. There was bottled water on arrival but this was not replenished during our stay so we had to fill our water bottles from the bathroom tap. There was a kettle for making tea but it didn’t fit under the bathroom tap to refill.

A small boutique hotel, close to Rod Laver Arena & the city by tram or Uber. There is also a car park at the hotel. I was able to check in at 1000 as my room was ready! The staff were amazing, I was unwell on arrival and Maddie at reception gave me some of her Ginger tablets! All the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble! Rooms were immaculate. Love the lobby area adjacent to the bar/restaurant with comfortable leather couches and arm chairs, interesting books to read, and games!

Nicely appointed hotel, very new, stylish fitout, close to the CBD. Tram to the city (10-15 minute trip) stops right out the front. Plenty of restaurants nearby to enjoy. Restaurant is reasonably priced with a great menu. Room service prices are cheap too, if you don't feel like going out for dinner. Can't go wrong for a short city stay, nicer than some of the CBD hotels that charge a lot more with older rooms. No parking on site but there is a decent metered all day public carpark out the back.

the location is brilliant - so easy to jump on a tram and head into the CBD. we loved the ambiance at the bar and the relaxed but opulent vibe. breakfast was great - the restaurant is beautifully appointed.

We had a balcony room, but we couldn't open the door to the balcony. Staff member came to assist, but they were unable to open the door as well. Though they were very apologetic, it wasn't rectified - but overall it doesn't change my opinion that the Motely is a great hotel that I highly recommend :)

The feel of the hotel was lovely, intimate, warm, inviting, as were the staff. I was concerned the decor particularly in the suite we stayed in could be overwhelming but it was perfect. Bed was super comfortable and the facilities in the room were perfect. Loved happy hour drinks, The staff were great and even when there was a minor mix up with parking they knew exactly what was going on and went out of their way to rectify the issue.

Pillows were a little too soft.
