The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating, going above and beyond to accommodate our requests and fix things that were a problem during our stay. The room was clean and spacious and suited our needs well.

The property needs a bit of maintenance and updating and even things like patching spots on the walls, was done with putty, but not sanded back or repainted. Whilst the towels were clean and fresh, they were very old and scratchy and could probably use a refresh or to have a linen company supply the linen for them to ensure it is new for guests. This would not stop us from staying here again as the staff made it so comfortable.

All went well ,very friendly staff ,Minh was very easy to talk to and nothing was any trouble for him. Knowledgeable and courteous. Good rooms ,room had all that was needed, cook your own meals if you want hot shower ,comfortable bed. The building has been around for awhile and aesthetically could look better inside but honestly that took nothing away from the stay. Fantastic location ,MCG ,Rod Laver Arena all 5 -10 minutes walk away.7/11 2 minutes away as were good restaurant's just around the corner, and Jolimont train Station and trams the same, that get you to the city in a few minutes. Wonderful find for us .When so many out there belt you for the dollar these guys are very reasonable.

if your not as young as you used to be the shower might be a small issue,the shower is a step up into a bath combination.

The location is perfect for attending the Australian Open, just 10 minutes' walk to the venue. Easy walk to a convenience store and a French Boulangerie round the corner, as well as some restaurants nearby. Very quiet residential area, with parking on the road just outside the building. Staff were friendly and helpful. Minh gave me lots of local tips and directions. Thank you, Minh. It's great value for money, considering that January was peak tourist season for the Australian Open.

The bathroom desperately needed renovations. The shower head was leaking and not securely holding itself on the rail. I brought it to Minh's attention and it was fixed.

The room it self is very nice and tidy and the kitchen utensils are complete so it was very convenient to prepare food for my toddler and for us. Bathroom was spacious and even have small bath tub which is very nice and Family friendly.

We had ants in the kitchen but I guess cos it’s too hot when we went there, however upon informing the reception they spray Mortein and replenish the rubbish bin. Very happy with their quick response.

the BEST location for anyone attending the mcg, rod laver, etc. everything was easily accessible by walking, right next to 7/11, the trams/trains, IGA, beautiful parks, central Melbourne close by. In a quite neighbourhood, lots of people walking around at night, felt very safe. As for the room, was grateful for the microwave, bar fridge and stove top.

The only complaint was the bathroom. The bathrooms are a bit old and dingy but it was ultimately fine.

Great location and value for money. Had all we needed for our stay.

Probably needs a new mattrass as it tended to not be firm enough so probably getting a bit old. Also, carpet on the stairs needs replacing and could be a trip hazard if not attended to. Probably needs screens on windows in summer so that the bathroom can be aired and not get too stuffy. Thanks.

This hotel is conveniently located near Fitzroy Gardens, providing a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. It’s also close to MCG park. Additionally, there is easy access to trams and trains for convenient travel. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are spacious and cozy.

The downside is that the angle and size of the shower booth can cause water to spill onto the floor.

Nice and close to Rod Laver for concert. 3 separate beds with second bedroom. Kitchenette well equipped. Off street parking available but on first in best dressed basis. Quiet suburb and close to city by tram or train with short walk.

Neighbours upstairs easily heard slamming doors and talking. Bath tub/ shower base unstable. Felt like no framing under fibre glass and had a large repaired crack. Base was also raised so stepping out felt dangerous. Would not like elderly person to use.

The accommodation was comfortable, particularly the bed which was very comfortable! The property is a bit dated but homely. There was limited on-site parking but I managed to find a spot. It’s close to the Jolimont train station near the MCG which is very convenient.

The shower is over a bath and a bit dated but ok.

tarriff suited the accommodation - pity no lift but staff promptly carried my luggage up & down stairs so no prob for me excellent to have a well equipped kitchenette staff pleasant & very helpful

shower water only lukewarm - all other hot water okay tv very old - not all channels worked - remote control very old & buttons difficult to press but okay for me as only wanted ABC news & SBS anyway
