the place is very well located and clean and if you are travelling it is a very good deal, you are independent, you can easily explore the city and come back any time you want to the place, You get what you pay for, and it is clean which is very important. You need to know you share the shower and toilet too. We would like to mention Patrick, he is very welcoming, and he strives to do the best at his job, it was a pleasure to share with him and learn more about Australia, and we definitely recommend this place. We also feel safe.

Everything was great. The owner Frank was very helpful with check in instructions, and Manager Patrick very hospitable and helpful. The property is very clean and well maintained, the bedroom was comfortable and spacious, great wifi connection. The outdoor garden is great to chill with fellow guests, and the property is very safe and secure. Location is very convenient, opposite train station and close to supermarkets, cafes and trams. Price was very reasonable, would highly recommend!

Window needs fixing so it shuts properly. Did not sleep due to street noise as window was ajar to busy street.

Hostel facility and common spaces are always clean and tidy, the kitchen is little but very well equipped (I love cooking), rooms are big enough and the white painted walls make it look pretty neat. Patrick the housekeeper is always keen to help when needed and best of all he's able to prepare some amazing breakfast and dinner when you need it, almost any time of the day!!

Hoddle Street is very trafficked from morning to evening, but with earplugs you can get over it and when fully booked is hard to find space in the fridge!

Very close to the station and bus stop so I felt relieved even I came back late at night. The room was specious and everything I needed was at least available, so I was able to stay for 3days without any problems. Ideal for people like me who mainly sightsee during the day and only spend the night here, and want to keep the price down!

The staff were so friendly, they made us feel comfortable. The location is so good.

We only didn't like we couldn't connect to the WiFi very well when we were in the bedroom. But when we were in the shared areas, it worked perfectly.

We highly recommend this hostel! Everyone was super nice and helpful with us, we stayed for two nights and everything was perfect. Patrick cooks breakfast and dinner for just $5, and the food that he cooks is amazing!! You must try it if you stay here. The cleaning is perfect, everything smells great and is perfectly clean, and that is also thanks to Kat. There is also free snaks, coffe and tea. No complains, we are so happy with our choice😊
