The hotel's location was really convenient for Melbourne Park, the MCG etc. being just a short walk away and with a tram stop just at the top of the road and West Richmond Station a short walk away it was very easy to get around. The kitchen facilities were basic but adequate for my needs and it was handy having a washing machine and tumble dryer (powder provided). The air-con kept the room very cool without being too noisy and the room was very quiet overall with very little noise from other rooms or from outside.

There was one big negative during my stay which was that the building wi-fi was down for the whole time I was there (over a week). The room had been booked for months and I was warned a few days before my arrival that there was an issue with the hotel's wi-fi. Although the receptionists suggested it would be fixed during my stay, it was still down when I left. That was pretty inconvenient for me accessing my work as my mobile signal was also poor in the hotel. I wouldn't have booked the property in the first place had I known that there was no wi-fi, but I guess it is just one of those things that an issue emerged when it did and, although I would have liked to see more urgency resolving it, hopefully this won't be an issue for future visitors as the building wi-fi fix should be imminent.

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable for a 2 week stay. The weekly housekeeping was great, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The bedroom can get quite warm, even with the a/c cranked up. The lounge was uncomfortable - which was noticeable during a 2 week stay but quite alright for a night or two if you want to sit and watch tv. Highly recommend this property for its close proximity to the MCG, Melbourne Park and being on Bridge Road it was super easy to get into the city. I travelled with my road bicycle and there was plenty of room for it in the apartment, and the location close to the Yarra meant it was easy to get onto bike paths.

Position to CBD, easy to find trams, . Inexpensive Uber ride to city. Facilities fabulous as were staff. The only negative we had was getting out bath after shower. As we are late 60s we had to put bath mat in bottom of bath so as not to slip while getting out. A rail to hang onto would have been perfect as we didnt want to hold onto glass screen to steady ourselves.

Slipperiness of bath was only negative...altho may have been an age thing...stepping from bath to a lower level of floor didnt feel safe.

I was only here one night for an event in the area, but I wish I’d stayed longer! The room was very well equipped with a nice little kitchenette and the bedroom was nice and comfortable as well. The sports precinct is about 10 minutes walk away if that’s what you’re here for, but it’s also good for the shops, cafes and restaurants on the Main Street (bridge street maybe?)

All went well .I had trouble trying to get stove going but the lovely woman came and showed me how to work it and stove fan. Staff were excellent in assisting me. Thank you

Not an issue but the high bath impossible for me to use. As previous stays I had larger apartment . But I managed to wash myself down using sink and cloth as it was only one night stay over. I had showered before I left home I was grateful I could book into room it saved me taking luggage to my appointments again the ladies were obliging .

Adara suits us for our hospital visits - clean, comfortable and convenient. It really has become our “home away from home” over the last 11 years.

The shower over the bath was not suitable for 80+ year olds - particularly as there were no grab rails. I think these need to be put in all bathrooms for safety purposes. The plug in the kitchen sink didn’t work and we alerted reception to such. Nothing done during our stay but they assured me they were attending to it.

We were actually given a free upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment which was amazing .. we had been travelling for almost 4 months and to have a hotel room where we could close the door to the bedroom was soooo nice! It was also so handy to be able to cook our own meals and it was extremely quiet so we got great nights sleep! In a good location, bit of a walk to the main city but you could have got a tram we just like to walk.

The only criticism would be that the wifi wasn’t great, we tried to watch tv at night but Netflix just couldn’t load on the tv!

The location was great as we were attending a concert at the MCG so to get back to the hotel afterward, it was so easy to catch a tram. Everyone else was heading towards the city so there was no waiting for us. The tram stops were close by and there were great cafes & pubs close by also. Loved that there was a little kitchen , good sized fridge, as well as a washer & dryer.

The fact that the price was a little high in my opinion. All the hotels were doing that though due to the Taylor Swift concert so demand was huge! Also didn't like the shower. It was a hand held shower head that wouldn't stay where you wanted when it was mounted. The head spun around and shot at or out the shower door when the water went through it.

This is a quality accommodation offering in an area which is decaying, in some places very badly. Nevertheless, I would return to this hotel, which suited my wife and I well. It is a large room, very quiet (114), and near all things you need. It is, if you like, "out of place" given its surroundings, but that should not deter anyone. It is well fitted out, and comfortable

It has a bath, always a risk for an 83 year old; the bedside light was a little dim. Both my wife and I had our suitcases in the lounge, as the bedroom is small compared to the dimensions of other parts of the room. Still, I would return here...

On arrival, there was no reception open. It was 5.40pm on a Sunday night. I had to ring a number and wait on hold for approx 10 mins. Then out of nowhere a staff member appeared and asked how they could help. So there were staff on site but not at reception. Later on, I was in reception and another customer arrived wanting to checkin. Same scenario, however this time the actual phone was in reception. This customer had to wait and also rang the mobile which went to voicemail. Yet the phone was in reception. Where were the staff.
