The room exceeded my expectations. After reading the reviews i was pleasantly surprised. As i walked in i saw a kitchenette with kettle, microwave sink and toaster, and own bathroom, the biggest king bed, which was very comfortable. The pressure in the shower was great, and the split system heater kept us toasty warm. We also had a sofa bed.

Their was only one bin, so if you have a couple of cans then the bins full. The bathroom has some cracked tiles, and mould which was painted over. The windows have no fly wire screens, the sofa bed had cat scratches up the sides and it was covered in pet hair and food crumbs. So much we couldn't sit on it. The carpet also had pet hair all over it which stuck to my socks. My advise would be to have some pet friendly rooms. Not all of them. I would choose a room that didn't allow pets. I would expect to not have pet hair on furniture and carpet.

Travelled to Melbourne for surgery. What a nice surprise. The room was beautiful, had a great view of the park. If I could have, I would have taken the bed home with Me, it was so comfy. Is within five to ten minutes walking distance to Epworth Freemasons and St Vincent's Private Hospitals and Specialists rooms. My only whinge (and it was my own fault), was that I usually request a walk in shower, but forgot. My room had a Spa bath with the shower overhead, so took a little bit of manoeuvring to get in and out with my dodgy knees. But I made it in one piece. This hotel is definitely good value for money, and I will most definitely stay there again. I also have to mention the little coffee shop that is attached to it. Make the nicest Iced Lattes and Ham and Cheese Croissants. It also has lots of little hand made knick knacks for sale. We'll worth taking a trip to Melbourne to check it out. P.S. They even had a decent amount of milk in the fridge for your tea/coffee. A 150ml box instead of those little 15ml capsules.

I couldn't complain about anything except the shower over the spa bath, and that was fault.

I liked that the room had everything I needed and impressed that it had a kitchenette.

The kitchenette didn't have a frying pan, I would have liked to cook a steak and stir fry some vegetables in it. I had a cup of white tea and when I tried to clean it afterwards I couldn't. This doesn't usually happen, very strange. I then worried about the tea or was it the cup that caused that to happen and hoped I was safe drinking the tea. The hallway carpet needs to be vacuumed as well as the lift which is really dirty.

Location is good, reasonable price for city accommodations. Staff are friendly, huge room with city views. Bed was comfortable, aircon heating worked well. Shower was hot. The provision of toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge was very much appreciated after a long cold day of traveling. There is off street parking available

Strange kind of bathroom renovation meant that you had to step up into the shower and the exhaust fan didn’t work

The location was excellent for access to the city with a lovely walk through the gardens, and closeness to the hospital which I had to attend. The room was large, clean and modern. It was very quiet, wonderful. The ladies at reception at check in were friendly and helpful, thank you.

On checking out in the morning the man at the desk was quite abrupt and grumpy. He was more interested in the computer than attending to my departure - disappointing!

Have stayed here before, as location suits us. Clean, neat room with always very comfortable beds. Love the fact that you can open the window for fresh air. Great being able to park car and not have to worry about it. Taxi or Uber into City is not expensive. Will definitely stay again.

This is not what we didn't like but more of a pointing out a few details. 1. Toilet door is not set up for quick access should someone have a heart attack or fall in there. Door should be able to be lift off for quick access. 2. Hot tap (red dot) ran cold (cold tap) ran hot, we didnt care but should a child or elderly person use this they could get scald. 3. No fly screens or locks on windows. Fly screens not an issue really but windows should not be able to be opened right out with a lock of some description. Sorry but I am an OH&S Officer and I take my work with me everywhere unfortunately.

This place is easy to access by car. They offer carparking. Then when your parked most things of interest r easy to access. Walk or make use of the many nearby trams or the bus and they connect with the trains. The place has been well used and even so it's clean and smart. Rooms r a spacious and staff very friendly. Recommend this accom option to anyone !

Location, had nearly everything we needed. Clean and tidy, easy to get to, tram station around the corner, walk to MCG, and IGA around the corner.

No face washer, no tea towel to dry dishes and no bin in the main area of the room, only one in the bathroom so certainly not much to complain about.

The carpet around the fridge was soaking wet and there was an old hair tie and finger nail clipping in the shower. The bathroom door was off the track and needed force to even move it, very difficult to open and close. Th aircon looked like a trap from the SAW Films. The black mould above ths shower on the ceiling plaster matched the black tiles nicely, Very comfy!

I want to highlight the staff from the Front Desk named Amigo. He managed to help us out today. HUGE kudos to you, for accommodating us today. We will be attedding an event tomorrow for NFBD and made our stay comfortable. Again, big thanks, to everyone.
