Room was large, spacious and the chrome cast worked. I thought the main challenge is i would want a similar room in a similar location next time and i don't know how easy it is to book with that request being accomodated. I very much enjoyed the gym facilities. Loved the chocolates left after room turn - a lovely touch.

The room furnishings were quite old and the rooms felt dark. The electrical ports had some power issues and the casing around the ports by the bed fell off one night.

The pool was incredible. In fact the whole level including gym, spa, pool, sunbeds and coffee option was worth all the money spent at this hotel. There is an adults only time at the pool area from 6am-9am which is lovely, quiet and if you're lucky, you'll get a piece of it all to yourselves. The size of the hotel rooms are lovely. We shared a room with our kids aged 11 and 13 in 2 large beds. Very comfortable, lovely coverings and big open windows. Interesting bathroom set up, having the toilet in a separate little closed off room was good however an side gap into the living area from the bathroom was a little odd, but it didn't bother us. It might though, if adults are sharing the room and would prefer a little more privacy. The hotel is attached to the whole Crown centre underneath so everything from eating, coffee, the Casino, bowling, and loads of other activities at an air conditioned walk away is really appealing especially with kids to keep entertained. The Hive restaurant is also a nice spot for breakfast or just grabbing a coffee on the go (or to take up to the pool if there in that quiet early time of the morning) as the coffee doesn't seem to be on at the pool that early. This hotel is one of my favourites, not much to fault, staff so happy to help, hold luggage and let you know via text if you arrive early and wish to check in before the allocated time, they'll let you know.

The only one thing I would like to change is perhaps to upgrade so there's a coffee pod machine in the rooms. No other things to note.

Location great for access to the DFO and Southbank and of course the Casino. Room was very large and well appointed.

Check in was quite slow - it was the weekend before Xmas, and while the staff that were rostered were doing a good job, they were understaffed. Room service did not attend despite us asking them to, when we requested towels once it was clear they were not attending, champagne was sent instead (!?) not complimentary though - we sent it back and called again for towels, which eventually came. Again, may have been to the very busy festive season. Pool was so busy and full of kids so we stayed away - adult only pool hours either early morning or later evening may be a good solution.

The location is why we chose metrapol. We had a concert at Marvel stadium, an easy 20 minute walk. Room service at 11pm was fast and fresh! A little pricey but food was beautiful. Amazing views on the 20th floor. The pool was beautiful and fantastic views.

A few finishes in the room need a clean up, the carpet felt damp, need to be able to control the temperature in each room. Whatever is in the pool has tarnished my rings, they will need to be cleaned. Would recommend taking rings off before swimming. Front desk didn't explain the lifts ( U need to swipe Ur room card to use the lift) so we spent a bit trying to work that out.

Pool had amazing views. Could be open later as you feel like a swim after dinner. The spa should definitely be open till later as you really want to unwind before bed. The location is the main reason we stay here. We enjoy the shopping also.

There should be complimentary water in the hotel which you expect from a 4 - 5 star hotel. Water is a necessity Not a luxury. There could also be coffee pod machines. The pool and spa should be open till later.

This is a fantastic location for a weekend away, with easy access to all Crown amenities, but nice and quiet if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne CBD. A short walk to the river, bars and restaurants or the tram to take you into the CBD. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms nice and dark for sleeping. Pool facility is amazing, the view from level 27 is fantastic and we would stay here primarily for that. The rooms feel like a little bit of luxury!

The Sky Bar on level 28 is not open, there was no indication of this and there were a number of families trying to access this including ourselves. I had to go to reception and ask about it - to be told that it has not been open for 8 months. The signs still indicate that it is open. Pool access hours are until 7pm - which as an adult seems a little early, we like to go for a late night swim once all the kids have gone to bed.

Everything under the one roof, convenience and location

We were shocked and disappointed at the standard of cleanliness of our room. The bathroom pipes/under sink area and fan were covered in dust and dirt and the shower needed a jolly good scrub, disgusting. There were stains / marks at the end of the bed frame (assuming coffee or some sort of sauce) but noticeable enough to come up on a photo (as would the fans and shower but forgot to take picture of those as well. The carpets need a good vac and steam clean too. There were no slippers or robe either.

Me and my fiance spent a weekend in a crown metropol for oir 8 years anniversary and we both loved it. The room we stayed in was very spacious and very clean, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom had a lot of room space and storage for your belongings. The breakfast buffet was top nortch highly recommended when booking your stay with crown metropol. Staff was very welcoming, especially housekeeping were veey detail in their service. The panoramic pool was very awesome with all the scenic views of melbourne city. There is so much to do, especially in crowns. Everything is all walking distance to shops, restaurants, kingpin and ect. Highly recommend even if it's a weekend away from home.

Only thing was the tablet in the room. How we order inroom dining there's no option to edit food if we don't want certain ingredients in it.

Amazing guy at the reception was so professional and helpful, and organised absolutely stunning room, so made our stay (and celebrating of our very special occasion with my husband) absolutely Amazing!!! Thank you!

In the first room the toilet was smelly. The shower room (in both rooms) was full of water during the showering, the floor design doesn’t allow water to drain quickly, it was like a pool, which is unpleasant. As the results we’ve got some fungus… Besides that, everything else was amazing!

The room was beautiful, the staff were amazing and the valet parking was a nice touch that took out the stress of trying to find parking in the city. The bed was super comfortable and the location was perfect for our weekend activities.

The check in line took half an hr from arrival (it was a busy Saturday afternoin so could understand the wait) but then had to go find our luggage as was still not at our room when we got there. The breakfast was $55 each then $9 each for coffee on top which seems steep considering room prices. (Was a family treat weekend but a guest discount or something would have been a nice touch).
