Location location location!!!! You can walk everywhere. The cute alleyways full of coffee shops and food and right out the front door to the right and up the street. It’s 5 star location 3 star hotel and 5 star staff. Especially Guill. Staff so helpful friendly and do all they can to help out. We felt safe and secure and loved how amazing the location was. We will be staying here again for sure. Best value for money in Melbourne. If you want a 5 star hotel don’t stay here but if you’re happy with comfortable and amazing location book now. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Rooms and lounge a little dated but you’re not in your room much. It’s comfortable and all you need. Save the money and stay here and use your money to explore Melbourne.

Excellent layout for apartment with seperate lounge area with natural light and bedroom dark for sleeping. The location is easy walk to everything and the free tram network. The entry tucked away off the street felt safe and it was nice and quiet.

Nothing that wasn’t easily rectified by the lovely staff. (The water stopped working briefly at one point for the whole building - the staff already knew when we raised it and had called a plumber to rectify and it was quickly fixed). The rooms aren’t serviced on weekends but the hotel information didn’t make this clear but staff were happy to bring us a fresh towel when requested.

Location, location, location, perfect! The room was large enough and was clean with all amenities you need for a short or long stay. Bed was softer than I'm used to but that's just me. Staff we're very friendly and efficient and responsive to any requests (within reason). I've read comments about creaky floorboards, etc but the place isn't brand new and it has a bit of character, but don't let that put you off. Overall, a great place to stay.

TV was quite old so couldn't cast to it from any device. No streaming services available so free-to-air was it but there was a HDMI lead available to plug into if you had a laptop or some other device that could be used. Shower over bath was quite small so if your a larger person then it's a bit squeezy. When they say the on-site carpark isn't suited to larger vehicles, they're not kidding. We have an MG HS which we got in ok but anything bigger would've been a struggle, but I believe they have overflow parking off-site if needed (don't quote me on that).

It's the location that makes this place worth staying at. It was great to be able to duck 'home' in the middle of the day and head out again without effort. The staff were lovely. The bed was comfortable. Despite being in a very busy area, the apartment was very quiet and east to rest in.

There was a bad smell in the carpet as we came out of the lift on level 5. We couldn't determine if it was cat or human pee. Thankfully, it was only in one spot and didn't transfer further down the common hall or into our apartment. The dishes in our kitchen hadn't been cleaned properly by the last guest and seemed not to have been checked. A staff member took them and cleaned them for us without fuss.

Have stayed here before. Location is excellent and everything is very accessible. Room set up is perfect for what we wanted/needed - ability to so some self-catering/tea etc + lounge. Separate bedrooms for the 2 of us.

- It is very hot in the rooms, even with the air con on. Would be good to have a portable fan available. - Was REALLY disappointed to see that the rubbish all goes in to one bin. there should be separate bins/compartments for paper/cardboard, recyclables, general waste and food scraps.... everyone else has to do this, why not accommodations such as Punthill?

The apartment itself was nice (except the window was hard to close as it was an old style), and the front desk staff were all very helpful. Good location (right on Degraves St). (Elizabeth St is not the most pleasant around there, but it is conveniently located near the station and supermarkets.)

The car park. It was so nerve wrecking even in a Corolla!!! Seriously narrow turn to get in/out from the Lingham Lane. The slope after the roller shutter is so steep it scraped the bottom of the car although I went so slowly. If you have a tiny car and are a very good driver, this is very conveniently located. Otherwise, I’d recommend you park elsewhere.

Wonderful property for the price. Excellently located near Flinders Station, Melbourne Central and Southern Cross Stations. Room service was fast and discreet, staff were pleasant and offered great recommendations for nearby food and drinks. Room itself was spacious and clean.

Internet was extremely slow, unable to load RSS feed for news and other articles. Asked about the bathroom exhaust fan not working, was assured it was working fine but the whole bathroom was like a sauna after showering. 3 layers of windows is a bit excessive but otherwise fine.

Loved the central location, with many food options right downstairs. Plenty of space in the apartment, and we appreciated the bath. Great place to stay with little kids. We also had a late check in following our international flight and they were very accommodating of this, with clear check in instructions provided.

The location is very central so there was some noise from the laneway below. This dissipated by about 11pm though so not a big problem! Also the back bedroom was quiet all night.

The location was super central and the price was amazing for a 5 night stay. It was great to have a kitchen with everything we needed. The staff were lovely and very accommodating.

The cheap crappy mattress topper didn't stay in place and the sheets didn't tuck in so it was a very uncomfortable first night sleep. Once we took it off and remade the bed it was fine. Also very minor but the waft of fried smell from next door every time we left the building was a little unpleasant.

Superior one bedroom apartment was clean and nice, and really a two bedroom. Very good value for money. Best location in Melbourne you could get. Cafes, restaurants, shops, deserts and trams right at the door. Staff were great, helpful and very responsive. Property nice and secure too.

I don’t think there is any staff on the premises at night (10-6 I think). Main bedroom was a little noisy with music from restaurants or bars nearby, not doff doff music, so not offensive, earplugs did the trick.
