Clean, tidy, the staff is very attentive and very sweet. They helped me with everything. Vienna was my first trip alone and since I was only going to spend 3 days, I wanted to stay somewhere close to the center. I think choosing this hotel was the best decision I ever made. I would like to thank the staff at the reception and breakfast area, and the ladies who regularly clean the rooms. If I come to Vienna again, I definitely want to stay at this hotel again. Thank you for everything :)

Location was very good, only 5-10 minutes walk into the city centre. Bus and tram links very close by. Rooms were comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't hear any noise from outside the bedroom at any point during our stay.

There is a small seating area in the hotel foyer, and there is a small fridge that you can buy drinks from, but the hotel lacks a proper bar and an area that we could all sit and relax in.

Very clean, good shower, good bed, good breakfast, extremely sevicemided staff:) The staff answered my mail questions very quickly, so I easily found my way from the airport to the hotel and so on, and they opened the room where I could use an iron on my clothes when I came late, even if the opening hours for that room was only in the morning.

Noisy between the rooms, but luckily my hotel room neighbors was quiet after 22.30:) Very old carpet on the floor. My room was the smallest room in the whole hotel and bathroom very tiny.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Hotel City Central while visiting Vienna for the Christmas markets this year. The hotel is centrally located, just a short walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral and the main shopping area. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, warm and cozy. All staff we encountered - reception, cleaning and breakfast were friendly and helpful. Could leave luggage in storage before check-in and after check-out. There was a complimentary drink included from the mini-bar at reception and there was drinking water available here also. Umbrella's are available at the front door should you need them during your stay. Breakfast was nice. There was some hot food - eggs, bacon & sausage. There was a selection of cereals, yogurts, fruits, granola & pastries. Lots of breads with a selection of ham and cheese also. Tea, coffee & juices included. Overall would say this is a very nice place to stay while in Vienna and should we ever be visiting again I'd have no hesitation in booking in to stay. Highly recommend.

There was nothing we didn't like, our stay was excellent!

We had a great stay at this hotel in late March. The location is excellent — just a 5-minute walk to the nearest metro station and around 10 minutes on foot to Stephansdom, making it a perfect base for exploring Vienna. The breakfast was superb, with a nice selection and plenty of space filled with daylight as its placed in a "garden room" covered with a glass roof; it was never crowded during our stay, which made for a relaxing start to each day. Towels were changed and beds made daily. The staff were also really friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The only downside we noticed was the lack of sound insulation in our room. We could clearly hear conversations, a TV, and even light switches from the adjacent room. At one point, our young daughter was laughing around 9pm, and someone knocked on the wall — likely trying to get some rest. While it didn’t bother us too much, especially since our neighbours weren’t particularly loud, it’s something to keep in mind for those who are sensitive to noise or expecting a quieter environment. Also, our double room had only one socket.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and genuinely friendly - every interaction was really positive and made our trip so much nicer. The breakfast had a great selection and catered really well to dietary requirements (gluten free and vegan). Everything also seemed very fresh and there were different options each day which was a nice touch. The lobby was beautiful and immaculate. We felt welcomed as a family: the cot bed we requested was well set-up and made every day, and our little boy was given a bear when we arrived. Standard checkout at 12pm was also very helpful, as was an early breakfast start time of 6.30am. The location is perfect with the city centre and Prater in walking distance and underground and tram stops to all key sights nearby, as well as shops and restaurants. The shower/ bath had plenty of hot water and great water pressure.

Walls were quite thin so you could hear your neighbours talking/ watching TV etc. The lift was also quite small especially if trying to fit luggage and a buggy. Would be nice to have a fridge in the room and tea and coffee in the room as standard rather than having to go and ask.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, as it is very close to the trams and the U1 (Schwedenplatz). The hotel staff was always friendly and accommodating. Although my room was small, it was perfect for me and more importantly, the bathroom was super clean (no mold or weird odors). Breakfast buffet is included (European breakfast). .

My only complaints about my room: it is not really soundproof (I heard the neighboring guests from both sides either when talking or snoring!). I would suggest the towels to be checked and replaced continuously, as I could see hard stains (although they were clean) and almost starting to have holes. Oddly on my last day the smell of the fried bacon was so penetrating in the room very early in the morning. Maybe if they added a second coffee machine at the buffet area would be optimal to avoid queuing in the middle of th buffet section. Other than this I enjoyed my stay there.

Firstly the staff were super amazing from check-in to check-out. Everyone who worked during the stay was very friendly and super professional. The facilities are well-structured and practical, I loved the breakfast area and the options they offered. Last but not least the location is exceptionally great, one can enjoy the city throughout the day and night without needing to worry about transportation (walking distance from most things).

There is only one elevator this can be a challenge to go up and down if the other guests are moving at the same time, especially with bags. It would be lovely for the coffee machine to be on and free 24/7 with the guest bar. The lobby could benefit from some music and something to encourage the guests to relax in the lobby, especially at night. This gives guests another option than just being in the room or city on cold winter nights. This option can also be a great value add-on to the hotel's offering

I loved the hospitality and the central position, just a few minutes walk from the city centre, in three minutes you reach the closest metro station, just across the river. The personnel was kind and friendly, and shared a lot of helpful tips and information on the nearby area. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of alternatives. I hope to come back here next time I visit the city

Nothing really, it’s old but we’ll loved and kept, the only negative thing that I can think about is that they don’t have electric keys, but aside from that it was wonderful.
