The location is in the centre of Vienna, where you can visit the stephansplats plaza and attend many activities. The staff members are very helpful and polite, whether the lady in the evening shift or in the morning shift, and so are the guys in both shifts. They answered all my questions and clarified whatever I needed. I really appreciate that. The breakfast was one the best meals I ever had in Vienna, the restaurant name is: Go Wien the food was delicious and the service was excellent 👍🏻

What I didn’t like was that I had to grab my 4 luggage and take them to my room in the 3 floor, no one was there to help or even offer an assistance both in check in and check out. But anyway I have to thank the good lady in the morning I asked her to keep my luggage in the front desk after I checked out until I bring my car from the company, she agreed. I appreciate that too.

Excellent located hotel, quiet corner 3 min of the heart of Vienna. Not too big, which is an advantage! Clean rooms, just enough to stay for a few days. Very clean! Daily, very friendly room service (traveling worldwide, it was a pleasant exception). Delicious breakfast with plenty of options for vegans and big eaters. There is a very good small Restaurant on the side. Super service at the front desk all were excellent, but Ms. Katerina was an angel helping us to stretch in the room ahead of regular check-in time after our long night flight. We recommend this place, you reach St Stephan’s Dom in 2-3 min, get the best winner Schnitzels in just 5 min walking distance (ask front Desk, they have Maps for everything) and you can spend all your money I all possible brand boutique after walking just 10 min. All shops offers a sofa for husbands. After spending time in “big brands hotels“ many times before, it looks that this smaller Mercure Wien Zenter will be our new location in Vienna with it sweet human touch.

The staff was of great help, especially Maria Eduarda (Duda) which provided awesome recommendations about places to eat, as well as tips for a quick visit to Bratislava. For my wife and myself we’d stay again at the hotel just because of Duda’s hospitality, although the hotel room was beautiful and the breakfast was like a feast, high quality stuff they serve there. No words can fully express how well located the hotel is. I rarely do reviews here on Booking, but this hotel deserves as many stars as possible to be given! Strongly recommended, would love to come back!

The location was brilliant, staff were super friendly too. The mini fridge with free fresh bottled water and a coffee station was great to arrive to and wake up to every morning. Love the windows, you can open them all the way (in the UK the windows are all safety latched, so you can only open them like 1/4 of the way - it's to prevent people from jumping out). The beds were super comfy and the shower is gorgeous. We were also able to store our bags after checkout which was helpful .

I paid for, and expected air conditioning. On the day we arrived it was 24 degrees outside, which to me is fairly warm. Went to put the AC on and didn't work. We asked the reception who advised it's not working/not on as it's winter months. This was quite dissapointing. The hotel advertised AC, hence we paid for and expect a room with AC. If it doesn't work, the AC caveat should be removed from the description. The carpets also really need renovating, or deep cleaned, they have been there since the 70s for sure.

We all really enjoyed our stay here. The front desk manager was super friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome even at midnight. The rooms were spotless—though a bit small for two, they were still comfortable and well-designed. The location was fantastic and really central, making it easy to get around. A lovely surprise was the small bottle of wine and chocolates they gave my mother for her birthday—it was such a thoughtful gesture and one which we didn't expect. We all agreed we'd gladly stay here again next time we're visiting Vienna.

Pretty well located, quite hide between streets but just couple blocks away st.Stephen’s cathedral and many tourist points. There is a lot of restaurants around, plus the one that hotel has. Staff is very friendly and kind.

Room wasn’t pretty clean, there was woman’s hair behind rooms door, which is quite disgusting. Also tea-coffee cups weren’t clean. We told to the staff and they apologized. Room its quite small as well as the bathroom, but for a night or two I think its okay.

We highly recommend staying at this hotel for your visit to Vienna! The property’s location is extremely convenient - it is a few minutes’ walk away from Stephansdom and the other major sites in the Old Town of Vienna. It is also a few blocks away from the VAL 2, a bus with direct service to and from Vienna airport, as well as a few blocks away from the underground metro stop, Schwedenplatz, with subway lines that offer access to the train station, Schonbrunn Palace, and other sites. The hotel room, including furnishings and bathrooms, was very clean and modern. On Saturday morning, for hotel guests, the hotel provided a tour guide who offered a free 2-hour walking tour of Vienna, which was extremely informative and a great way to learn more about the history of the city.

Everything was fantastic!

Location is fantastic. Rooms are clean and very comfortable, the bed was an Austrian twin. We got a great night sleep and a powerful rainfall shower. The best thing was the free 2 hour walking tour available on Saturday mornings - it was amazing. We were taken through the non tourist parts of the city through beautiful alleyways and courtyards and had a very knowledgeable guide. We learned so much about Viennas history.

….very pressed to find something negative but I guess the parking is steep though totally expected in the heart of the city. The hotel discounts it from €40 to €24 per day though!

The location is perfect to explore the City from. It is near all of the main city landmarks.

The room we got allocated was ok but the air con was not working. We raised it at reception and even though their were a few attempts to fix it, they didn't work. We got offered a new and updated room for the last night of our stay but this should have happened sooner. I must credit the girl we dealt with on reception who did offer us the different room. She was very apologetic and was very proactive. The new room was excellent and had been recently refurbished. The other rooms need the same refurbishment.

Perfect location. We walked everywhere from there to see the sights and all the Xmas markets. Just a few minutes to Stephanplatz and shopping streets. 3 stops on underground train to other main shopping street. Tea and coffee making facilities were excellent and it was a nice gesture to have complimentary large bottles of water as well as juice and soft drinks.

The extractor fan in the bathroom was working all night. It was noisy and greatly affected our sleep. There was also an unpleasant smell in the bathroom.
