Perfect location as right across from boardwalk, staff great and very helpful! Rooftop has fab views Great location for going to the Saturday and Sunday indoor markets Good selection of drinks at the hotel bar and pleasant staff. Was happy to be informed housekeeping only every other day as per NS policy. Items were replenished without question on non room days. FYI, it is all uphill from the hotel to the Citadel and pubs, bistro restaurants that are not on the boardwalk Highly recommend this location. Parking garage was also clean and lots of room.

The location is perfect! Was very close to the waterfront. Room was very clean. Everything was walking distance. Parking is limited, but once you register your car, you can go in and out as you please. There is a spot for your entire stay. Sure it is a bit limited and tight, but I have seen much worse. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sahid (I think that was his name) was very friendly and always said high when we went by. Their blinds do a good job at blocking out the sun. Rooms are sound proof for sure. We were facing a construction site and very close to the elevator and barely heard anything. The zen garden and rooftop patio are very nice! My daughter and I both enjoyed it.
When getting into the parking garage, you have to roll down the window. Twice, someone was sitting there smoking. It was nasty as the smell goes into the car. Also, many families stay at this hotel. My 40" 4 year old was not able to reach the sink in the bathroom. I had to lift her each time. I inquired about a stool. I was told they think they have one, but never received one.

Great location and great view. Loved the pool and hot tub. Really clean and tidy. Really nice shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Love that they are the wall mounted larger bottles and not the little single use ones.
Would have liked firmer pillows but it’s hard to please everyone’s preferences. Not a great room service menu, very limited and expensive options. My biggest pet peeve is when the curved shower curtains aren’t mounted properly. They’re curved to give you more space in the shower. When you mount them too far in it defeats the purpose of them!

The hotel is located a stone's throw from the harbour front. We booked the King Room with Harbour View. The room was huge and, as advertised, had a great view. The bathroom was very spacious too. We took advantage of the underground parking. It cost around 25 Dollars a day, but was worth it. There are about 40 spaces, and as long as you aren't driving a huge car, there should be no issue accessing it. It is a very short walk from the hotel to the waterfront. And the pool and jacuzzi was a nice bonus too. We didn't have breakfast there, so can't comment on that.
Storage was a bit lacking. There was a large wardrobe behind the front door, with a rail, but no hangers. The bottom of the chest of drawers was full of blankets etc. so couldn't use that drawer. There was a smaller wardrobe beside the chest of drawers, which had some hangers, but more in the other wardrobe would have been handy. And the ventilation in the room was a bit annoying. There was a grill over the bed, which was constantly blowing cold air into the room, regardless of the temperature. This caused a chill during the night. And the large (air con?) unit at the other end of the room kept kicking in, at a noticeable volume. And storage of some sort in the bathroom would have been good. The sink was mounted into a large worktop, and there was a large unused space under it.

The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and in a perfect location.
The only negative was due to the fact we drive a half ton truck, and the underground parking garage was tight. They had designed truck spots, but they were occupied by cars. When we approached the desk, the front desk attendant looked up the plate, shrugged, and said it was not in my system. Luckily, my husband can park almost anywhere.

Loved the zen garden space. Have stayed at the Courtyard quite a few times but had never checked out this area. Have always visited the 8th floor balcony. The zen garden on the 3rd floor was a very nice surprise. Very private, very nicely done with the large amount of lovely flowering vines and ferns. Top notch.
Some of the parking spaces in underground parking very tight even for smaller vehicles. However, having sufficient parking available on premises in Halifax is essential

This hotel is very well situated for those who wish to spend some time at the Halifax Harbour. Cross the street and you're there! It was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Our plane was a bit late getting into Halifax, and we learned upon arrival that many restaurants in the area close at 10:. However, one of the staff pointed us to an area that provided a good meal after a long delayed day. Housekeeping staff were exceptional.
The lighting in the room isn't bright, in my opinion. It seems most Marriott hotels have the heavy duvets on the beds. The room wasn't cool enough to use the duvet, and not warm enough to sleep with just a sheet. It could have been the weather because we stayed there in October.

I couldn't ask for a better location for my stay! The hotel is perfectly situated, making it incredibly convenient to explore the surrounding area. The room itself was large and spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The overall experience was delightful, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay.
parking is limited, with a very small and tight-fitting underground garage.

location, comfortable room with bed & sofa, nice professional & helpful staff
the room off of the lobby, supposed to be a bar…it was a bare room with a collection of tables…so uninviting and scruffy looking…incredible when paying $300. per night to stay at a MARRIOTT! Even to get a coffee, was a paper cup & closed at 10 pm & we were left to sit in this awful room! Tried only one night after a full Great day of activities. Our group of ten that had five rooms were disappointed with this! Shame on you for this poor service & unorganized ugly room!

- Staff were outstanding from start to finish - Location was clean and uplifting
- HVAC system makes one feel like they are sleeping in a jetliner (the biggest detractor of this location) - Having a gym without a water cooler and paper cups is not awesome - One drawer in my dresser did not open
