The hotel was centrally located to rail transport hub as well as downtown service facilities. Although in a busy area, our room was quiet and well appointed. Very impressed by the breakfast. We had a-la-carte but a full continental was available. The dining room staff were exceptional.

Our room was not ready at check-in so an alternative room had to be found.

Great location... Close to arenas, distillery district, harbour, downtown, Union station, meridian hall, restaurants. Clean, comfortable beds, kind staff especially the man who checked us in super late after a long delayed flight. Also had brunch in the hotel restaurant... Food was amazing and the service was excellent. I honestly have nothing bad to say. I got a great deal on the room so I was amazed at the location, quality, and esthetics.

If you want to do a certain type of shopping (like in Yorkdale) or go to the museums, it's a far walk but once I learned to take the subway it was quick and easy. Rooms were a bit dark, and the restaurant across the way was also a club on the weekends so it got loud.

Close to restaurants, just across the road, also one within the hotel itself, which looked lovely but we did not try. We spent most days either in the market or Spaghetti factory where the food was nice and plentiful. The hotel is within walking distance from Union train station ( and we had cases). Also walked to see a Blue Jays game at the Roger’s Stadium. ( 15 mins) Loved only being down the street ( 5mins walk) from St Lawrence market, with all that it had to offer. Hotel and our room were clean and check in was very straight forward.

Had to evacuate the hotel at 6am on our last day as possible fire. However, the tannoy system worked well so we knew what to do. ( no fire so all good). T.V Chanel’s were limited and seemed to show the same shows on rolling rota.

From welcome to goodbye, the staff people were great, always helpful, always friendly. The pool was clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was excellent value for money, with a wide range of choices, suitable for anyone and the wait staff were super, friendly and efficient. the room was comfortable and quiet and the hotel location was perfect for downtown activities like attending concerts or sports events.

The scrambled eggs in the buffet looked under cooked and watery so we didn't try them but the hard boiled eggs were fine. The buffet was really well provisioned otherwise and there were many other options. There is no shower in the pool and it wasn't apparent where guests were expected to shower, although there was signage indicating that bathers should shower before entering the pool/hot tub.

Desk staff were very obliging on arrival. The room the very spacious and comfortable. Happy hour drinks were very welcome. On the day I had breakfast it was delicious.

Although serviceable, it would have been nice to have china or pottery rather than paper cups in the room, and milk for tea rather than just the coffee mate which doesn't work so well for tea. I was disappointed to find that breakfast wasn't included in my booking, when I thought I had selected a tariff that did include it. But on the day I did have breakfast, it was very satisfactory,

Everything was great! The location was excellent, the rooms were well kept, and the beds very comfy. The location is so central and so convenient. Breakfast was excellent and had some incredible options. Mirek and Anna made sure our stay was excellent. I would 100% recommend!

The rooms could do with a bit more lighting, and they were not the biggest, but the beds were very comfy, Price was ok; relatively expensive but comparatively ok for Toronto. The super central location can easily justify it.

Across the street from three very good and well priced resturants/pubs and a 5 minute walk to St. Lawrence Market and other really amazing bars/resturants on Front Street. The indoor pool and hot tub were so relaxing after a long day of walking. Staff was friendly, room was so comfortable, spacious, and clean.

A little far from public transportation. Water pressure needed some work as it was very weak.

We were on a business trip, and needed lots of rest and quiet, and Novotel did not disappoint. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was very well designed and functional, especially the rain shower and combination handheld shower attachment were definitely very therapeutic. The lighting is pretty good for a hotel, with dim lighting as well as fairly bright lighting for reading. The view was to the adjacent building, but at least it was a quiet area, and we felt enough privacy with the curtains there. The staff were very good, whenever we needed something they were helpful.

The hot tub was out of service, which was very disappointing as we had looked forward to that feature. Oddly the front desk staff mentioned the hot tub location as though it was fully functional.

The hotel location is convenient: 10 minutes walking from Union Station. Room with 2 queen beds spacious to accommodate two people. Beds are comfortable. Everything was up to the execrations.

There was supposed to be a hook at the back of the door in the bathroom, it was broken and not replaced. It was difficult to adjust the water temperature in the shower. An extra vanity kit with cotton disks and cotton swabs in the bathroom would be a great addition.

It is such a perfect spot for what we were looking for! With our 2 boys (teen and preteen) for a couple days, we could walk everywhere and lots of great restaurants around us too! The room was really nice and quaint, just wish there was a couch or something. The beds were nice and big, but 1 chair so you had to sit on your bed anytime we were in there. No BIG deal, just for more space apart. Breakfast was excellent and the service was great as well! Nice hot tub, clean pool with lots of towels and water stocked for the guests.

Nothing, it had everything we needed , just small rooms but fine for a couple days.
