Staff was gracious and helpful. Location was excellent, close to the action but on a side street so it was quiet. Room was clean and well appointed. Bed’s were super comfortable. We were 4 people, parents of 2 teens. We had a superior king suite, which is basically 3 rooms, perfect size so each teen slept in their own area and we parents got the comfy king. Room had a fridge and microwave as well as a bar sink that came in handy. Desk area was great too. Good amount of outlets at the desk. One night we were too exhausted to go out to dinner so we brought in take away and had a relaxing evening on the large L-shaped couch in the room using the coffee table. It was nice to put the leftovers in the fridge and use the microwave to reheat later. The breakfast buffet was really great to have that included in the price. We loved something’s about the buffet, and others could be improved. Breakfast, croissants were great but the eggs were way, way overcooked each day. Unlimited food though, yogurt, toast, bagels, English muffins, fresh fruit salad, all that was just great. Each day had a different meat item, sausage, bacon, sausage patties, these were cooked but not browned, always looked anemic. Tasted ok but would have preferred seared a little. Also, nice to put coffee, juice and croissants on a tray and take back to the room to relax. This was such a treat. Coffee maker for tea and coffee in room was also a nice touch as is the ice machine on the 1st floor so we could fill our water bottles with ice before heading out for the day. We would definitely stay here again.
View was not great, just back of a building. Would have liked an outlet near the bed to plug in chargers. One AC unit was great. The other (older) one sounded like a jet engine (even on low) and never seemed to actually cool things down.Mostly we shut it off and made do with the newer one. $36 a night is not unreasonable to park a car in the city, it was just a surprise after I made the booking. We had looked forward to relaxing swim after walking around all day but Pool was tiny, we ended up not using it at all. Fitness room was ok, our teen son used it, said it was adequate.

room, location, breakfast
Arriving and having to check in before being able to park, which meant blocking other people's arrival by car and then after checking in having to go in reverse or around the block to park. Also, the parking spaces are too narrow for American SUV's. My friend's car got scratched while she was trying to park it. And there was no one to help unload the car or at least provide something to put the luggage on. Given the nightly rates, we expected such help. Only other problem: the person at reception couldn't tell us where to get on the Hop On/Hop Off bus

Wonderful location, friendly staff, clean, comfortable.
The design of the room has neither charm nor logic. The bathroom door is a sliding door that can't be latched and leaves slight see-through gaps at the edges of the door, with the result that the bathroom doesn't feel completely private, a feeling made more uncomfortable by the fact that the toilet faces this door. The couch is in the entryway facing the bathroom door, an uninviting location.

The location was wonderful. You could easily walk everywhere. The breakfast was just ok , with limited selection and the egg patties were still frozen, The room was good and house keeping was wonderful.
The pool was super small and the "gym" was tiny with literally 4 sets of dumbbells and 3 treadmills . More than 4 people could not be in there. A bottle of water in the convenience store was supposed to cost $10,- which i found outrageous.

The location in Old Montreal was fantastic. All major tourist sites an easy walk away - e.g. Grand Roue and the Notre Dame replica. The old cobbled streets and shops were delightful and filled with tourist shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, all within 5-10 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is situated on a quiet street so no heavy traffic or noise. Breakfast was fabulous with such a great variety of food to choose from. We were able to check in 2 hours early and on check out, we were able store our bags (at no cost) and could either wait in the lobby - which had plenty of comfortable seating and sofas, or wander around as we liked. Staff were fantastic - we just loved the hotel.

The location was great, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed, and had nearly everything I'd expect.
The breakfast the first day wasn't good (dried eggs, and overcooked sausage rounds), but the other two days were good. The pool was very cold despite being indoors. The bed was lumpy and not particularly comfortable. The room didn't have USB charging ports and required wall warts (charger plugs). AC was window-mounted and quite loud.

Loved the size of the room we stayed in. The location could not be beat! The hotel was just around the corner from Old Montreal’s Main Street and a very short walk to Old Port. The breakfast was great, convenient when traveling with little ones. The staff were exceptionally friendly and there was on site parking. We will stay here again when we come back to Montreal!
WiFi could be a little stronger

Loved the location in the historic area of Montreal. The shower was excellent and so was the breakfast. The hotel staff was polite, courteous and professional.
The sheet on the king size bed had a few stains. I told my daughter we could ask for it to be changed but she declined. I thought there should be another towel rod in the bathroom or a clothes hook closer to the shower.

The breakfast was excellent with helpful staff. The location is excellent, basically on a small side street in Montreal's Vieux-Port, and is convenient to all parts of the old part of the city. It was also quiet, even with a loud restaurant connected to the rear of the hotel.
The room door was strangely sticky, it took a special move to swipe the room card and then twist the door handle while pushing the door just right.

The staff made it so simple to check in, the location of the hotel was also perfect in old Montreal. The side of the room was generous, and the amenities offered were amazing. It looks like the hotel has undergone a recent renovation and it looked great.
The entrance to the hotel was a little bit suspicious in an alleyway, but that turned out to be the least of my worries.
