The property is beautiful. The pools are clean and well maintained, busy during peak hours (midday to 7pmish) but not busy during the morning or later at night. The hotel is beautiful, rooms comfortable, jacuzzi a nice touch, breakfast was great! We enjoyed eating by the pool and room service was also very good. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Make sure you stay at the hotel for at least one entire day (no excursions) to really take advantage of the facilities. We saw quite a bit of wildlife including tucans, lizards, coati and more.

We had dinner only once at the restaurant and of the three fish dishes we order, two were overcooked. The tilapia was perfect.

The volcano view is hard to beat. The property’s several quad-unit buildings are connected by a path that weaves through gardens of tropical plants. The hot springs were wonderful, with each feeling like a private grotto. The onsite food options were great, with a decent range of options. The staff was extremely helpful and available to set up tours if needed, but for independent excursions it was a convenient drive to the town of Fortuna. Fun area for kids but also relaxing for parents.

The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view is absolutely incredible. The grounds are beautiful and having hot springs on the property was so convenient after a long day of hiking! The location is about a 15-minute drive between the town of La Fortuna and a 15-minute drive to the Arenal hiking trail, so it was really an ideal and convenient location. The breakfast was really good with a variety of options and a pretty view from the dining room as well. The concierge gave us thorough instructions on how to properly use our in-room hot tub, so we didn't have the humidity issues I saw in other reviews, so just make sure you follow instructions. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The only thing different I would have liked were some appetizer options on the restaurant menu. We would typically eat a late lunch/early dinner out while doing activities and would sometimes want a small bite with drinks in the evening, but it was mostly entrees and sandwiches. Pretty minor all things considered.

We liked everything, hot springs, the room is nice and clean, good breakfast, and very good staff, especially the restaurant staff!

There is nothing to complain

The grounds were absolutely stunning! Beautiful flowers and vegetation everywhere. The room was spacious and the view of the volcano was sublime. The in room hot tub worked great and was nice for a quick soak before bed. Access to the Titoku hot springs was excellent! Highly recommend taking advantage. Beds were comfortable, and A/C worked great. Major highlight was the incredible breakfast! Huge shout out to the whole breakfast staff who welcomed us and provided a wonderful variety of delicious fruit and nutritous foods to start our day. Thank you. Pura Vida!

Amazing views. Beautiful grounds. Pools & hot springs were very nice. Very clean. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds.

My air conditioner kept freezing up & we would have to shut it off for quite a while to get it to work again. It took a very long time for the water to get hot. Need more kid friendly food options. Food was pricey for what you got. I ordered the Caribbean chicken & it was more bone than meat. They need more towel racks. Wanted to be more “green” but had no where to hang bathing suits & towels to dry. We were on the first floor & could really hear the people above us walking around.

We love the hotel and the staff. We were celebrating 1 year engaged and the staff were kind enough to let us check in early and use the installations if we wanted to, our room had a beautiful view and was decorated with balloons for our special occasion, the food was delicious and the service as well. We enjoyed having the springs in the same space without having to travel, 100% we will come back.

Filling up the jacuzzi before for one night was unnecessary. Jacuzzi is also not so nice.

Great room, top tier food (especially the breakfast), and very friendly staff that did everything they could to accommodate you.

I wish my room was higher so I can see the view of the volcano. facility is extremely dark at night, so it's best to call a shuttle to take you around versus walking at night since there are wild animals in the back paths.

They greeted us with a drink, hospitality amazing, the buffet breakfast & food at both restaurants had amazing presentation & delicious, the local cocoa-coffee-sugarcane tour was great, and located on one of the best, very close to Arenal Volcano, etc.

The hot springs are at a different location, and it is one big one only compared to others in La Fortuna, which have several hot springs options.
