Nice hotel, clean, relaxing atmosphere, beautiful breakfast, easy to access from tram to centre of Brno

We booked the hotel mainly for the Jacuzzi & Sauna on the roof. However, even though it was supposed to be open on August 1st, as stated on booking.com it was not. We arrived on the 2nd and were told that the only leisure area open was in the basement, which was ok. Then we were told that the leisure area was only open from 14:00-17:00 in the afternoon and then from 19:00-23:00. I was very disappointed at this as it was the first time I ever stayed in a hotel where leisure area was not open in the morning time so unfortunately we only got to use it once on a two night stay.

We rented a one-bedroom apartment at the hotel because my husband forgot to pack the cord to his c-pap machine and his snoring keeps me awake. The apartment turned out to be perfect for us. Both the bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The restaurant had a nice menu with wonderful borscht soup (the best I have ever tasted). Our waiter on Sunday evening was very helpful and friendly, giving honest reviews when we asked about the food. He was young, had good humor and was most pleasant. The breakfast is well worth the price with a huge variety of foods.

My biggest complaint is the lack of cable or internet television! The stations appeared to all be local and were broadcast in Czech, so we were unable to even watch the news. I am fairly petite and the tub sits up very high, which made it difficult for me to get in and out. There is hand-held shower head, but no shower curtain and it was quite difficult to keep the water contained in the tub, especially when washing my hair. Fortunately, the shower is tiled (which is very attractive) and a bit of water didn't seem to hurt it. The restaurant wait staff, during the week, were not at all attentive nor were they friendly. After the great service we received on Sunday evening, I was unpleasantly surprised by the lack of interaction with the restaurant employees.

The utmost is that parking is included. A tram stop is nearby to get to and back from town although it's also within walking distance. The room is spacious as well as the bathroom. The shower is also spacious unlike most hotels and has many hooks to hang towels and stuff. Tea, coffee, fridge and water are also available. They also offered extensive wellness facilities and a 2 lane bowling alley. The breakfast was superb. The reception was very nice to let us park before we checked in because we were too early there.

The downside is the food in the restaurant, it was a disappointment. A staff was also not very friendly and should smile more.

We really liked staying in this hotel. The breakfast was okay, it wasn't the best breakfast we ever had in our lives, but considering the fact that it was included in the price, I would say it was worth it. The hotel has a restaurant as well where they offer lunch and dinner, it also has a gym, a sauna and bowling. We haven't tried gym nor sauna, but we did go bowling one night and it was really fun. Location is amazing and they have a free parking for hotel guests which was very important to us!

Rooms are a bit dated when it comes to decor, but everything was clean, we had a balcony and a fridge. The TV didn't work, or at least we couldn't figure out, it kept playing the hotel's advertisement.

Don't be fooled by the the rather 70s-looking decor, the hotel is really pretty good. The Sauna & whirlpool on the rooftop were marvellous. Clean & well-maintained (I suppose, also rather new!); & the staff (Spa region) was very attentive, making sure drinking water was available & helping guests with questions.

Room service was slightly sloppy (On the 2nd day, the duvet were thrown across the bed but the bedsheets for properly tugged in. We only stayed 2 nights, so it didn't matter so much. But i guess I have been pampered with better room service elsewhere). We came in late & went to the restaurant within but it's not exactly the best food. To be fair, the prices are affordable but still... i don't want my soup lukewarm & the meatballs/dumplings still cold in the middle. Eyes roll.

Free parking, good location, nice room facilities and an amazing breakfast 😃 Hotel is also pets friendly what’s an advantage for us. Price for a pet is 300 kč per night but pets are allowed to stay with the owner also during the meals.

Beds and pillows could be more comfortable. It’s a pity that there is no option for a double and a single bed in a triple room, just three single beds. It makes the room smaller. Besides one of the beds wasn’t a regular one but a rollaway bed. Bathroom definitely needs to be renovated.

Everything was super clean and the staff was very nice. Amazing private wellness - I recommend it!

The bathroom in “prime room” was quite old. Shampoon and shower gel were provided “all in one”, no conditioner or body lotion was provided - it is not big deal but when I realise the price for night (almost 2k CZK per person) and 4stars hotel I would expect more. We didnt understand what should be “prime” in “prime room” even when “normal room” looks better and equipment and service was the same.

I booked a premium room and received an unexpected upgrade which was very kind. So I stayed in an apartment. I had a lot of space which was nice.

In the bathroom there was no shower only a bathtub. That was very inconvenient as a quick shower in the morning was almost impossible. The breakfast was not as I have expected it. I usually love a fruit salad and there was no oat or almond milk available.

fantastic breakfast, everything is there. Not bad spa. Overall, very worth the money spent. Well located, everything you need is nearby. Wonderful experience.

Of the shortcomings, in room 505, where I lived, the balcony door is somewhat malfunctioning. This is not critical, but unpleasant.

A very enjoyable, comfortable and uplifting stay. In retrospect, I wish I had have stayed longer! Amazing rooftop wellness area complete with gym, sauna and jacuzzi, and spectacular views looking out to Brno. Was great to "chill" on the rooftop, all very zen. Sauna was particularly clean and impressive. I also loved the outdoor icy "plunge" pool. My room was spacious, modern and well-appointed. A lovely ambience overall, with the added convenience of an on-site restaurant serving international cuisine, complete with friendly and helpful waitstaff.

Breakfast options could have been more diverse, but I loved the fact that hot chocolate (both with and without milk) was available from the coffee machine.
