Nice and clean, with friendly staff and lovely breakfasts. However, something seems to be wrong with the address on Booking – we used it and the taxi driver took us to a different part of the city.

There was a strange smell in our room, like someone had been smoking, and there was even a burn hole in the curtain – I’m quite sensitive to that, so it spoiled the first impression a bit. We kept the windows open the whole time to try to get rid of the smell, but the outside noise – people singing, rubbish being collected, trams, and swearing taxi drivers – was quite annoying

It was a comfortable, spacious and warm hotel. It was one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in and therefore highly recommend it. The rooms were great and very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning as there is a good spread and choice. The local neighbourhood is nice and it very easy to get everywhere via the tram (and even by foot). Reception staff were brilliant. Nothing was any trouble. They were welcoming, and very helpful by organising our transfers to the airport. We would 100% stay here again.

Nothing as everything was great. A nice to have / small suggestion for improvement would only be a hook or two for hanging up large winter coats (for when you don’t want to hang these with clothes in the wardrobe). Otherwise, it was excellent.

The homely atmosphere and the little balcony on the room was lovely for sitting and relaxing. (We weren't originally given one, but when we asked, they happily changed our room. Breakfast was good too, lots of choice. There are several good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. We found getting in and out of the city really easy and cheap on the trams. There are several stops nearby. The air conditioning in the room worked well too, even on a very hot day.

Some of the furniture in the room was a little tired, but that was part of the relaxed charm of the place. The area is a little mixed in terms of lovely modern and refurbished buildings, with quite a lot of graffiti. Since it is opposite a large brewery, there is a scent of malting in the air, but it wasn't a problem. More a feature!

Great location - easy access with car and parking close by. Public tranportation (tram/metro) very close by. Big room and good breakfast in a calm athmosphere.

The carpet in the room has seen better days, which gives the room a slightly musty, old smell. A small piece of advice for the staff at the front desk: consider raising the chair at the reception desk so you can more easily greet guests as they come and go - it makes a big difference, also when it comes to ensuring that only registered guests are entering the hotel.

A very good hotel for its price. Interior is a bit old indeed but it doesn't matter for tourists who come back only to sleep. And my son liked it for the atmosphere and style. There is a nice variety of choices for breakfast. A good opportunity instead of looking for breakfast around in the mornings. The room had everything necessary plus a terrace but the weather was not suitable for using it. Spacious, clean bathrom and an AC in the room. The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes to the tram which takes you to the historical part of the city. Plus, Staropramen brewery is just opposite the hotel and you can visit for a tour if you are interested.

Everything was fine.

I had the balcony room with the windows facing north into the patio, which was great during the hot summer days in August. Smoking was permitted in the balcony, so that I did not have to go outside for a smoke every time. There were comfy chairs with light blankets in the balcony. The room itself was very cosy, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was exceelently clean. From the hotel's location, we were able to walk to the main sightseeing locations within 20 to 30 minutes maximum. A large shopping center is only a relatively short walk from the hotel as well. All in all, we had a very good stay, and if we ever go back to Prague, we are going to stay there again.

Very polite and friendly staff. Good size of the room and bathroom. Nice buffet style breakfast. Location not in a best area but very close to all public transport. Just 5 trams stops and you are in the centre. Big shopping centre with local restaurants around hotel. Beautiful city. Nice hotel and Very good value.

The cleaning staff doesn't do the job well. They tidied up the bed and take the rubbish only. No cleaning room or bathroom, even left not washed caps The pillows are not very comfortable

My stay at Hotel Angelis was nothing short of exquisite, located at the centre of all the attractions we wanted to see, had a very warm welcome, all our questions were fully answered, hotel was very clean and well kept all the time we were there, staff were very friendly and polite and catered to all our needs, breakfast was great, 24 hour concierge was reassuring knowing that you could return to the hotel at anytime. We will highly recommend hotel Angelis and definitely come back, thank you to all the staff at hotel Angelis for making us feel welcome.

room was lovely and theres a back garden if you have a room looking that way. the bathtub and heated bathroom floors were marvelous along with a nice breakfast! also very close to several public transit stops.

our room looked out over the street which is not very nice and turned out to be quite noisy because of an event the morning we left. the street the hotel is on doesn't have anything other that a beer museum of some sort. these things are not the hotel's fault. just things to be aware of.

Everyone we interacted with at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is not meant to be modern, so you'll like it if you want something nice that feels like it's from a different time. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom was quite big. Shower was fine, a/c worked fine, and breakfast (included) was not special, but it was very good. We also appreciated how easy it was to get into central Prague, either walking along the river or by streetcar (stop was just at the corner). Last, it was very nice to have a working refrigerator and an electric teakettle in the room.

We liked it so much the first time we came back for our last two nights in Prague about 10 days later. The second time, we had neighbors who smoked on the balcony outside their room. That meant we got their cigarette smoke through the open window into our room. We didn't experience this in our earlier stay. But we would definitely stay here again!
