this is a well-run hotel in downtown Prague - it's a little away from the standard tourist hotspots in the old city, but just next to Andel where one can see normal Prague - close to Andel also means that it is fairly well connected with the public transport network as several main connections go through Andel, the breakfast is great - the best I have had in quite some time - as was the quietness of my room - it had really good & soundproof windows keeping all the noise outside - so in short: I was really satisfied to have chosen this hotel

My friend and I stayed 3 nights at the hotel. Overall, it was really good. There was a bathtub that we could use, beds were comfortable, there were 2 elevators and breakfast had a lot of varieties.

We had a bit of a problem on the first night where a guest was smoking in their room and it triggered the fire alarms in the whole building, making everyone to leave their rooms. Another small problem that my friend and I found, was that our room on the first day was a bit dusty on the floor.

Always enjoy my stay in Occidental while I am in Prague. Nice and modern hotel with friendly staff. What I love the most are comfortable beds, cozy bathrooms and great selection of food for breakfast.

Property is located right opposite building grounds of new residential block in Andel. So if you are not lucky enough to get a room with garden view, you will observe construction from your window.

We appreciate that we received the king size bed we requested! The room had everything we needed and housekeeping kept everything very clean and nice! The breakfast selection was abundant and tasty, and very nicely presented.

The bed was firmer than we usually prefer, but we also know that is usually the case in Europe versus the USA.

The location is great. Very close to the subway station Andel and from there just a few minutes to the city center. It's also very conveniently placed if you want to drive further to Brno. The hotel is very well maintained, the room was very clean and the sound proofing is probably the best I ever encountered. The breakfast was good and the staff in the restaurant was moving extremely fast, as there were two big groups of tourists at the same time. Front desk service was great, everything went very smooth.

It's definitely worth investing in an Internet solution for each floor. Current architecture is not so great.

Fabulous hotel. The staff were so friendly. It was my birthday when we stayed and when we arrived back at the hotel that evening the bedroom was decorated with balloons and a cake, and they gave us 20% off our meal in the hotel. Great location, 5 minute walk to a tram stop, and over all a nice hotel!

Over all I enjoyed my stay, the air con in the room was quite weak though so the room was quite hot at night. Minor complaint though, over all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Travelled for work and had comfortable stay. My windows faced park, so was nice and quiet, located few mins from metro line. Bed was super comfy, although amount of pillows a bit excessive. Was great to have bath in the suite. Breakfast was varied and tasty.

breakfast... Location was superb for us because we came late from the airport and needed to go forward from Na Knizece bus station next day...

We came late and drank 1/2 liter min mineral water from the mini bar - the price (that we could not find in the room) was like we take a best water in a restaurant...

The hotel was placed absolutely near the public transportations and also the wider area was peaceful with no city noise. The hotel was a real 4 star, with a perfect breakfast and dinner buffet. Also the use of gym was for free. Furthermore the rooms where more than comfortable, very clean and big enough.

We recommend Occidental Praha Five for multiple reasons: the rooms were big enough, the staff was all the time willing to help and provide information when requested, the location is close to the city center (both by subway or by foot), the restaurant serves good food (we had both breakfast and the dinner), even when you are travelling with little child, as it was our case. Thank you!
