My wife and I recently stayed at the Mala Strana Hotel for three nights. The hotel staff were really friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was also a good quality shower which is always a bonus. The food was very tasty and the breakfast hours of service were accommodating. We would definitely re visit this hotel when we return to Prague. This is possibly the quietest hotel I have stayed in, no road noise, no trams and no street noise in general. Lots of bars and tourist attractions in walking distance but if you need to go further afield the tram and bus stop is only a short walk.

Breakfast was lovely but there could have been slightly more ready to be eaten. We did get up on the later side and went to the breakfast room at 09.30ish so this may not have been a problem if we got up earlier. But either way, this was a very minor issue Which didn't affect the holiday. Still enough tasty food to eat.

The hotel is a hidden little gem in a beautiful city. It's excellence is heavily promoted by the receptionist Lucie who goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional service at the level of a 5* or even 6* concierge. We were travelling as a couple with a morning flight and had prearranged delivery of 100 roses, but only Lucie had received the order, she also followed the instructions of the driver to keep them in warm water, she arranged to have them placed in a vase in our room upon arrival. How thoughtful and kind service! She also offered a vast amount of tips for post office, opened pharmacies and where to eat locally. If for nothing we will be returning here thanks to her! The rooms are also spacious, have been recently renovated with AC and the hotel has a brand new lift placed there! The breakfasts are more than generous! Such a variety of treats, hams and cheeses and mkret

There's nothing we didn't like, this hotel is the best

The hotel is located in the lesser town, 10 mins away from the main train station with tram nr 9 and very close to the Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. The area is quiet and very local, far from the swarms of tourists. 2 mins from the hotel there's the Petrin park which is gorgeous and offers a breathtaking view of the city. Very good breakfast, with lots of options and a great selection of fruits and local pastries.

The breakfast room can become very small in the rush hour and you might have a hard time finding a comfy place. Make sure to there early to enjoy a peaceful and delicious breakfast.

I had a great stay! The reception staff were very friendly and available 24/7, which was really helpful. My room was small but very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options—I absolutely love European breakfasts! Hotels in the US and Canada could really learn from this when they say they offer a "breakfast." The location was perfect—right in the city center, but still in a quiet and peaceful area. It was within walking distance to Petřín, Prague Castle, and Charles Bridge. Just amazing!

They don’t offer a free airport shuttle, but the staff can help you book a taxi, or you can easily use public transport—the stop is very close to the hotel.

We are regular visitors of Prague and the location of hotel is great. ‘Serviced’ apartments are more common in the city than standard hotels - and it was one of our first time in a hotel. It was nice to always have a concierge all the time, no matter how early or late you are. The reception and service overall was great and I commend them for that. However, for what you pay for, you might get significantly better comfort and space for the same price at those apartments.

We did not enjoy the breakfast in terms of food quality but we were happy that the breakfast was included in our stay. As it was an option to have everyday. The room was a little old and mattress was thin - as a result we wouldn’t say that we got great rest every night.

The staff were very kind and nice. The manager was very accommodating and understanding. Breakfast was very good. Although the breakfast room was small, the chairs and tables were very comfortable. The servers were exceptionally diligent and helpful. The hotel room was clean, very well organized and stocked with a standard coffee maker, an electric kettle and a security box - some hotels were not equipped like this. The location was the best. It was beside the Perin park, a less crowded bridge, and surrounded by many restaurants, cafes and mini-marts. We crossed the bridges a few times on foot.

The room was a bit cold in the morning. The radiator was fully open, but it was located only at the rear window. So where the bed was not well insulated from the cold morning draft. To me, it was just fine because I always cover the blanket up to my neck. My wife said it was cold, but she usually kicks away her blanket. Yet it is true that this hotel room was the coolest among all the hotel rooms where we have been. The bed was ok to me. Again, my wife was a bit sensitive to the bed, and mentioned that it wasn't comfortable. She had been happy for other hotels.

Location is brilliant. Close to everything we wanted to go. The staff is excellent and friendly. I recommend this hotel. Your outside the tourist area so if you eat in local restaurants you will find it cheaper than the other side of the bridge. Just a tip if tour planning on planning on staying here. Go to Meduzzy restaurant. It's a local chezch cuisine plus the hotel have us a 10% voucher to use which we used everyday. Highly recommend we've been going for years!

The selection of breakfast. I suppose I'm being a pit picky. It was lovely. I would of liked more selection to cater for the British. Not many tables so we found we had to wait a little while. Other than that not much i didn't enjoy.

Fairly well located within 300 metres of the river plenty of restaurants in the area and a nice park . The trams went past the end of the road at regular intervals. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast although a reasonable choice it was very much dependent on what time you got there we were down early on the day we left and there was an excellent choice but on other days when we went down a little later the choice wasn't always so good although fair to say what was there was fairly good.

- The hotel room is great. It was clean with good amenities eg. fridge, kettle, shampoo/body wash. - What can I say about the buffet breakfast? It was marvellous! There were lots of choices eg. Coffee/tea/juices, cheeses, deli meats, breads, sausages/bacons, eggs, yogurts etc. The ladies in the breakfast area was very diligent in keeping the tables clean as well. - There is always someone at the reception which was good. - The hotel is very close to Petrin hill, 20 mins to Charles Bridge and about 30 mins walk to Old Town. - The hotel sits between two tram stops and there are restaurants nearby. - Good Internet. - I recommend booking the rooms upstairs as I had initially considered booking a room at the basement and was glad that I didn’t. This is because the windows in the room gave a good breeze and sunlight that brightens the day.

Nothing!

Room was clean, big, there was an AC unit even though the remote was supplied several days in. Based on outside temperature? Always someone at the front desk. Lovely and helpful people. Two blankets on the double bed. Nice. Enough lights to turn on/off to your preference of brightness. Big windows that open. Lots of items for breakfast and replenished throughout the morning. When it was busier sometimes it took longer for something that was running out to be topped up. Pancakes run out fast, grab them when you see them. Location is fantastic. Pro tip: go into the park in the evening gorgeous, safe, and views are amazing. Hotel is central but away from partying crowds a very short way across the river if that's your thing.

Coffee pods weren't there when we checked in, they appeared a couple of days later. Sink was slightly blocked. Pillows are a bit too large. Weird complaint, I know. Beds could be softer but that depends on the person's weight, I understand. One lift, therefore slow if it's busier. In the morning when on a tight schedule, take the stairs :) Bad sound isolation from the corridor, but! it was generally very quiet during our stay.
