The hotel is beautiful. Our room smelled a little bit of fresh paint and they immediately moved us to another room with no smell. The food was very good and safe. I’m prone to Egypt tummy and had nothing the entire stay. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The entire hotel was clean and spacious. Will return when possible.

The only thing I didn’t like was the loud music on the beach from neighbouring hotels, but it is possible to escape this by going a little bit further to the right side of the beach. We went to another hotel before, with loud music and rude guests that enjoy that kind of environment. Huge difference in fort arabesque. The house reef is wonderful and the access is well monitored by the beach guards. Sun beds were comfortable as were the actual beds in our room (albeit a bit on the hard side in the room). The food at the buffet was always tasty and there were plenty of options, only as vegetarians we lacked a bit of options or variety. Hotel reception/management was also very friendly and correct in reimbursing us for a cancelled service where they weren't at fault themselves and had no direct obligation to do so. Overall the hotel felt very secure and all staff were friendly.

When staying at the beach in the adult only part, there weren't many toilets nearby. Most of the buildings felt well maintained, but the arena for the evening shows could use some renovation and the music was played excessively loud during most shows.

It's an amazing place for snorkeling. The main reason we booked this resort was for its direct access to beach and best place for snorkeling and it was amazing. The room was clean and very good for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). Room gets cleaned every day. Several restaurants for food (some are only for adults so could not go there with kids). Plenty of food. Swimming pool was with warm water so my kids enjoyed the pool. The employees always had a smile and were very nice and always tried to entertain kids. Kids club was another great thing, they take care of kids from 10am - 12pm and again from 3pm - 4:30pm which is great for parents to go into beach for snorkeling without having to worry about the kids. Table in beach bar restaurant should be reserved for Dinner and the dinner there is very good and they have live music and dance. Every night they have mini disco for kids which my kids enjoyed a lot and after the 30 mins disco they have some other shows which was very entertaining as well. Overall very satisfied with the resort.

The resort is huge, with a large green area, several pools and bars, animation, and a nice beach. The side gate takes you directly to Makadi city center. The sea is unbelievable, with lots of corals and plenty of fish close to the shore, no need to take snorkeling trips in my opinion. There is also a scuba diving center inside the resort you can book trips with and a small shopping center. The room and bathroom were quite spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Food quality was excellent for the price. They have different restaurants in the resort you can choose from with the basic rate. I recommend the restaurant by the beach (grilled fish or chicken a la carte) with live music almost every night - reservation needed for this one. You can also pay for an upgrade (I think around $40-50 per day) to get food a la carte. It's worth trying for 1 day at least. Overall the quality is superb and very cheap for what you get. We can't wait to go back there!

The airport shuttle costs $20-25. With Uber, it will cost you around $8-10 (select cash as payment method on the app!). It is not specified anywhere that you need a reservation for some of the restaurants. A booklet should be provided upon check-in with all the information and services available at an extra charge. Wifi is awful! There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the seating area next to the reception and it is very slow. You need to pay a fee if you want Wifi in the room!

Everything, there genuinely wasn't one thing we could fault!! If we were really searching for something it would be the gym isn't included in the price but that's it! The premises were spotless!!! Staff were so attentive, friendly and helpful. It was as if you were being welcomed into a lifelong friend's home. Check in and out was smooth, all excursions were well organised and efficient. Lots of variety to keep you going with food, entertainment, classes, games, diving, excursions, beauty treatments. Even the wild birds were top notch to spot! ospreys, golden eagles, kestrels, egrets! The animation team were a delight and you can see they clearly love there job and again. We walked up and down the bay but none of the other hotel compared from first impressions. Would highly recommend and come again. Thankyou for a great time! X

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff who were very attentive. Food was fabulous, catered for all tastes and in unlimited quantities. The Asian corner restaurant was lovely with fresh food cooked to order. Nice bar area with table service, again staff that memorised regular orders. Rooms were big, kept spotlessly clean with a stocked minibar and friendly and polite housekeepers. Loved the hammocks in the beautifully maintained gardens overlooking the beach. Plenty of activities and the kids looked to enjoy themselves at kids club, as we saw pirates go past!!😁 We made use of the attached dive centre IDive Makadi Bay and that was excellent.

The resort is amazing, probably the best one in the bay. The staff and the service are excellent. The beach is great, and the sea is rich with colorful fish for snorkeling. The beach bar is also beautiful, and you can eat lunch and dinner there. The rooms are big enough and so are the bathrooms.

The beach has beach beds in 6 rows, and all rows have some fence behind them. This means that only the first row sees the sea, and the other 5 rows don't see the sea. This was terrible. The beach boys try to sell you a beach beds reservation for 75 euros a week, and for the second row. I don't want to pay for beach beds in an all inclusive arrangement. The bed was not comfortable, it had a leaning towards the center, so it wasn't flat.

I would whole heartedly recommend this all inclusive retreat to anyone going to Hugrada. The place was clean, vast, the food was delicious, staff were always welcoming and we never felt there was anything missing from our trip. Never thought that we could have done with more. Special shout out to the Indian chef in West Bay. He's excellent at his craft and very considerate towards his guests, definitely such an asset to the place. That said, I think I just wanted to thank all the staff for taking such good care of us. Finally the beach linked to the hotel is excellent with some great snorkeling spots

Lovely rooms. Really beautiful, spacious resort. Good service. Good food. Great location for snorkeling.

More a la carte dinner options needed. Not great that you can only use 2 of the a la carte places if you stay in a suite or a villa, makes you feel like second class citizens, even though we paid for a deluxe sea view room, we are not good enough. The policy of the sunbeds in the beach is also awful. If you want to get one on the front row you need to be a first class citizen or prepared to pay them lots more money. For an 'all inclusive' premium resort like this I think this is unfair, and suggests they don't value the experience of all their guests. They also allow people also to reserve sunbeds around the pool all day with towels, so you have limited choice there too. It's a shame these policies let a beautiful resort down. I would come again if they changed them.

An amazing resort with fantastic staff - starting from the check-in process at the reception (Mr. Victor, Mr. Abdel Rahman and Mr. Hatem) to the room cleanliness and size to the swimming pools, the greenery everywhere, the very long extended sandy beach with fantastic inhouse reefs to the beach bar (Abdel Rahman offered a smiley and attentive service), the pizza bar and the main restaurant - everything was very good. The food quality and freshness was very good that my sensitive tummy didn't suffer at all during my stay :) the animation lady that did morning stretching was very good.

I wish the animation team did ask for permission before taking photos of us (guests) during activities.
