Choice at breakfast was both good food wise and also seating

Too much smoking & it was not clear what were non smoking areas

It was a great experience for us. The hotel is very peaceful, calm and the cuisine is successful. The hotel's beach is beautiful. The sea is clean, calm, and warm. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. Especially Amr and Khair at the front desk listened to us with their solution-oriented approach and tried to solve our problems immediately. Mahmoud at the pool restaurant was very kind and helpful. I really thank them very much. It is a hotel I will prefer again next year.

The only problem with the hotel is that they are very focused on German guests and they are surprised to see people from other nationalities. I recommend them to switch to a more multinational understanding.

The staff are truly the best part of this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by incredibly friendly people at every corner. Mr. AbdulSattar (Assistant Manager) and Chef Mohamed Gomaa at the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. At the pool restaurant, Mustafa and Mohamed and the other guys were wonderful, as were Mohamed and Amr at the main restaurant. Hamdi at the beach and Mickey from the animation team also stood out. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel where I remembered so many staff members by name, that says a lot about how special they are. The facilities are excellent, and the food is some of the tastiest I’ve ever had at an all-inclusive hotel. It was truly an amazing stay, and we will definitely be coming back, inshallah.

This hotel is the best hotel you can find in Hurghada. Everything you need you will find it near to you ♥️ 1- great room service. 2- great reception service. 3- everyone work very hard to make us enjoy and happy. 4- nice food and good quality. 5- the best thing for me is the pool bar afternoon with the sunset and beautiful drinks and music and everyone simply. 6- the most important thing in this hotel is the sea. THERE IS CORAL AND BEAUTIFUL FISHS. 7- activities are very nice and entertainments are very friendly and nice. 8- kids club is nice. 9- aqua park is very nice and beautiful. 10- every night there is nice show.

Nothing is bad to say.

We stayed in the hotel for 7 days, every day there was cleaning. The main restaurant has delicious varied food. During the day they held classes on stretching or yoga, evening animation after dinner. The staff was very attentive, sociable, polite, unobtrusive. Very beautiful well-kept territory with various plants, there is even a mini garden with herbs. Wi-Fi was available everywhere, you could watch movies online.

The rooms are a bit tired. There is a kettle and tea and coffee bags in the room upon arrival, but after that the tea bags are not added. There is no shoe shovel.

First you wonder if 7 nights wont be too long. But rapidly, magic starts...Here is what you will get at Iberotel Makadi Beach 1. Cleanliness & comfort. The level of cleanliness in this hotel is exceptional. In common areas, rooms, swimming pools, beach, restaurants & bars. You can trust what you eat and drink (even ice cubes and ice cream) and you will be safe. Beds are so comfy that you will sleep tight. Towels are changed as often as you want. Trash bins are emptied a countless number of times. 2. Beautiful gardens & surroundings with palm trees, rocks, cactus, blue pools, wooden bridges... especially the view from the beach rooms are breathtaking, be it at dawn or sunset. 3. A service oriented & friendly staff. The level of service is great. You will not wait long for your towel, coffee or your fantastic cocktails, and you will also get a bright smile. The staff at Iberotel is truly working hard to make your stay unforgettable. They love kids and will interact/joke with them all the time. A huge THANK YOU to Ismail and Ahmed at the pool bar whose smiles and beautiful mocktails made our days. Don't forget that good & hard work in Egypt is rewarded by tips, so please play the game.

It needs to be said that 90% of the tourists at Iberotel are German. So expect to be greeted in German all the time, which for us was not an issue. Though we did not travel for food, we found that the savory food at buffet was average. But deserts and pastries were EXCEPTIONNAL (+2kgs gained :) ). To summarise, yes we recommend the hotel and yes we will come back. We did a lot of activities by ourselves (glass boat, free diving, dolphin center etc), but there are more to do; so as the Egyptians say: "Once you drink from the Nile, you will come back again". So will we.

From the very first moment, everyone in the staff was so incredibly friendly, welcoming and most importantly very professional. Very special thanks to Mr. Mina Magdi at the front desk who was always very responsive to my questions/concerns an made sure I have an exceptional experience. I had a triple queen room with full sea view that comfortably fit myself and my family. The room was super clean the beds were very cozy. The spacious balcony along with the beautiful sea view was quite relaxing and peaceful. Very special thanks to Salah, the room service personnel, for who always making sure the room is up and beautiful and has everything we need. The food was delicious with ton of varieties offered all the time. The kitchen area was super clean and very nicely organized which is something I appreciated so much. The kitchen staff were very welcoming and never stopped asking us how we felt about the food quality and whether we need anything. I deeply appreciated their positive attitude more than anything else. Shout out to Chef Hossam and Al-Gazzar and to the server Sayed. The beach area was way more spacious than it looks in Bookings.com's photos and it was kept very clean all the time. The staff by the beach provided a wide vaiety of gear for so much fun water activties. Special thanks to Al-Doctor for being very helpful and nice. The animation shows were so much fun. Myself and my family had a phenomenal experience and we definitely are coming back to Iberotel later this summer/early winter.

It seems like WiFi quality is a common complaint. I would absolutely love if this issue is resolved next time I visit. The oriental restaurant was okay, but it definitely can be better in terms of the quality and the portions served. The beach servers should to be a little more attentive and friendly. Some had a very positive attitude tho and served us very happily. I would love to experinece the full sea view from a first-line row apartment. I do not know to how to pick that through Booking.com, but I would really appreciate such an experience next time.

it was really nice, bright and clean and the staff was super friendly (thank you Khair and Mahmoud in particular for exceptional service and friendliness during our stay) and the animation team!

it’s a bit too smoker friendly in my opinion. It would be nice if there was designated smoking areas instead of allowing people to smoke everywhere all the time (like split the beach in half into a smoking area and a smoke free area). I didn’t like having to passive smoke all the time… The matress was on the firmer side, which didn’t work well with our weight but it would be comfortable for others I think.

The place is directly at the beach therefore the property has the best possible location. For snorkelling this place is amazing. Even the people with less experience can stay near the beach and see a lot of fishes. The earlier you go the clearer is the water and the more fishes you see. At the restaurant you have food for every taste, therefore you find always something really tasty for yourself. The staff is super nice and will help you with every request. But by writing you will not understand it, you have to come one time to get the experience.

In the first days it is not so easy to find the fastest way to your room but after 1-2 days you will know it.

The welcome and the service were awesome starts by the reception Mr. Amr Gamal who was very helpful and fully understand our need and same was by everyone working there The kids club activities were amazing, our girl 5 years enjoyed it a lot! So thanks to Mrs. Aya 👌 Finally i would recommend the hotel as perfect destination for those who are seeking a relaxing holiday with premium service and quality.
