Everything was just as described on Booking. The hotel is located right in the city center, with two metro stations nearby, one of which is on the line to the airport. There is a shopping mall across the street, and all the city's attractions are within reach. As for the accommodation itself, the rooms are smaller but perfectly comfortable for a few days, and everything is clean. The housekeeping staff cleans every day, and they can change the towels daily if you wish. Internet is available both in the room and in the hotel lobby. The breakfast is varied.

A minor drawback is that check-in is at 3:00 PM, but you can leave your luggage at the hotel until you get your room.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, we went early to see if we could leave bags and he checked our room and told us we could check in early.. totally unexpected and also for a very small charge (2euros) we were able to leave our bags on day of checkout. Perfect location to explore Berlin as main train station and many underground lines left from Alexanderplatz which was less than 5 minute walk away. Great social and shopping area. Clean room and additionally provision of hairdryer in room which was fab.

Not sure if this just isn't a thing in Europe - as in UK it is, but would have been good to have hot drink facilities.. even a kettle.. in the room

The breakfast was nice. The room was like twice bigger than i had expected, with huge windows and a view. The place is close to U-bahn, and you can walk to everywhere in the center from the hotel.

The AC seemed to have only a ventilator mode with the lowest temperature set at 15C, so it didn't really cool the room at night (it felt like 25C rather than 15C so you'd constantly sweat under the thick blanket). It was not possible to open the windows at night because of the loud noise from the railway. Summing up, the nights were too hot (and it was February - i don't want to know what it's like in July). The pillows are really cheap and not comfy.

Quiet enough area and also just a 10 minute walk from the centre where the train station and tv tower is. Staff were lovely and friendly, whole hotel was quiet, was worried with it being next to the railway that it would be noisy but when the window was shut you didn’t hear a thing! Room was cleaned and had fresh bedding and towels every day. Definitely recommend if you don’t want to stay in the centre☺️

The location is excellent. Although my room overlooked the railway line it was quiet enough for me as long as the window was closed. Very helpful staff.

It would be really really nice to have a kettle and some tea bags or instant coffee in the room. A coffee from the vending machine in the lobby does not match a hotel in this price category.

The location was great, the area was quiet even though we were close to the train lines.

For some reason a large cart full of smelly and used towels was permanently left outside our two rooms on the eighth floor. I can’t understand why it couldn’t be moved to another and safer location. In the event of a fire this could hamper the departure of guests and staff.

Clean, nice staff, comfortable room. The location is great: you can walk to many points of interest in Berlin from the hotel, it is close to the Alexanderplatz station and there is a big mall just across the street, which is really convenient.

The only problem is that the hotel is really close to the train rails, so it can be a bit loud, even at night. Not their fault and I had ear plugs, so it wasn’t really a problem.

Very accessible by the metro…not bus! and was also safe to walk at night. It was a great location as well; close to restaurants and Alexa mall.

It’s right next to a railway line and it was very loud when windows were open. I like to open my windows so that is a personal issue. It was quieter when closed.

The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good value and good quality.

At first I was a bit intimidated by the area - some homeless people (who didn’t bother us) - the area was a bit run down and lots of graffiti - however - soon got used to it and the location is very handy.

- The placement of the hotel was very good, being near 3 important train/subway stations from where you can get to the center of the city, or the airport or have a connection to the most important areas of the city. - The personnel was very kind and helpful and gave us the information we needed. The hotel even had physical maps of Berlin at the reception which helped us explore the city, having marked all the important landmarks and the subway map. - The hotel had a locker room where you could store all your bags before the check-in and it helped us to travel on the first day in the morning before the check-in time at the hotel. - Even though the hotel is very close to the train lines, with the windows closed (being okay for us in September), we couldn't hear any train passing nearby, which was very impressive. If you open the windows, the trains are kinda of loud but for us wasn't a problem since we were mostly visiting. - The breakfast in the morning was very good and worth the cost. We had a very good breakfast with juice and coffee at discretion every morning before going to visit the city for the whole day. - There was a vending machine in the hotel with water and some snacks and was very good for quick supplies before sleep if we didn't have time to check the market. - Every day the room was cleaned the towel was changed if required and the room was without any problems.
