We have stayed here 6 times & it never disappoints! The room was a good size & the bed was comfortable. We love the balcony, it feels like you’re in the forest.

There was a limited menu in the restaurant on the Sunday which didn’t include anything simple like a burger. The beef casserole we had was small, like warm & too expensive for what it was.

Really beautiful entrance lobby. First class restaurant area with views over to the mountains. Serves wide ranging breakfasts and very good evening meals. Staff were always available and very helpful and friendly. Good sized room with ensuite bathroom. Pleasant balcony overlooked ancient forest. Almost instant taxi service available for trips into the city. Easy access underground parking.

Some may not like that it's a few miles from the city centre but I chose it for that reason. However, public transport is excellent as is the taxi service. It's a long climb if you want to walk.

very nice area driving all the way up through curved road through lots a forest up to you reach the hotel which actually in a forest overlooking the mountain .I was given three rooms for my family in the third floor, which were basically very well fully prepared roof attic rooms in the third floor , two were overlooking the entrance which is also nice where you can enjoy the architecture of the building and the flowers on the balconies , and one was overlooking the trees of the forest behind the hotel , all in all very good stay, provided very exclusive experience away from all noises ,I could also see there are rooms that have that beautiful mountain view so I advise , to book the 2nd floor rooms that either have a mountain view or a balcony .I liked the hotel and the staff , parking was easy (at a charge)this is recommended for those who seek calmness , lots and lots of trees with walking paths in a forest just behind the hotel .

Staff in the restaurant (during breakfast) were exceptionally friendly. They gave me their private iPhone charger because I forgot mine. They really went above and beyond for me.

I felt that the staff at the reception were a little less motivated compared to the staff in the restaurant. I asked the same question about the iPhone charger, but they told me they did not have one. Yet they could have simply asked the staff in the restaurant, which was right next door, and where I found one myself a couple of seconds later. Wlan was relatively slow and difficult to log into.

It was fantastic. So comfortable and quite very, very clean . The staff were so helpful as strangers to Germany they helped by making suggestions for day trips and how to navigate public transport. Daphne one of the receptionists was so delightful and friendly , she was very patient with us .

Breakfast a bit expensive, parking fee (but ok), and don‘t expect to get the exact room which you book on booking (even though it is written balcony and outside furniture it does not mean you will get it, I booked such room, but received a one on the top without the balcony with a small window)…

Very clean room , very nice personal, everywhere green in the surroundings- we had a great stay at this hotel .

Breakfast : warm dishes getting cold quickly. I would recommend to clean the floor often, since we saw the same dirt on the same spot on the floor ..

Location in the forest. Spacious room. Breakfast on the restaurant terrace with view to the Siebengebirge. Small Terrace at the room. Next to the university clinics on the Venusberg. Good bus connections to the city center.

Good stay near to universitäts klinikumbonn.

Parking fee applicable. Most of the hotels provide free parking but you don’t expect here.

The hotel situation in a forest in the middle of a city cannot be beaten. Listening to the summer birdsong was amazing. Staff were always smiling and helpful and spoke at least two languages well.

Would have liked a simple choice at breakfast. There was only a full breakfast or coffee.
