- The bed was too soft for comfort. - The “modern” design of the room, while stylish, compromises convenience. For example, there are two steps between the bed and the rest of the room, which can be tricky when getting up at night to use the bathroom. - The shower cabin, placed directly in the room and enclosed with transparent glass, lacks privacy. Although there is a curtain intended to offer some coverage, it can only be operated from within the room.. - Some staff members at the front desk displayed a lack of typical hotel professionalism and came across as indifferent. This might be a downside of the hotel doubling as a bar

Fantastic location for getting around the city. Staff is friendly and very professional, room was perfectly clean. The rooftop terrace appears to be a trendy place to be for the locals, and had lively events both days we were there - 2nd day was some kind of salsa meet up, which didn't take up much space, and was cool to have on in the background. The hotel is also very good about having these events end well on time so the hotel guests can get proper sleep.

This meant the 2 elevators needed to get from the entrance on the ground floor to the bar/reception on the 6th floor and the rooms were permanently full, and checking in at the bar/reception had to be done amongst a throng of party-goers trying to order drinks. The vibe was good, and honestly the party looked like good fun, but this may or may not be what you're after when it comes to a hotel experience.

Yes, the rooms are not huge but it was a good use of a small space - some people dislike the shower in the room approach but we thought it was very efficient and there is a shower curtain available. Nice breakfast spread (but only soft or hard boiled eggs available) and friendly staff - did not have the same busy issue as other reviews. Had drinks and snacks in the bar on several occasions which was very good. However, there is no phone in the room to contact staff and no drawer space so had to leave stuff in our suitcases. There are some hooks and hangers on the wall but no other storage

Loved everything about this hotel! The staff were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We arrived quite a bit earlier than check in time and whilst a room wasn’t available yet, they kindly took our luggage so we could get out and explore the city and the same again on check out day. The hotel has a modern, trendy vibe. The bar and rooftop terrace are fantastic. We stayed in a cosy room…. Loved the decor. Centrally located within easy walking distance of everything and also right by all the high end designer stores. Would highly recommended this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Frankfurt

Even though the room was small, it had tall cellings, glass, and mirrors, so it did not feel too small. I liked the smart but luxury design. The location was nice, a little harder to find at first, close to luxury shops. The shower had great pressure and two choices of shower gell.

The galley where you could get free drinks was dissapointing. Instant coffee was not my favorite, Nespresso machines are not so expensive and could be a nice touch. Some of the sensor lights in the corridors were a little delayed, so you had to walk in the dark for some seconds, spooky 😊

The bed was futon style. I did not realize this during the booking as this was not clearly identifiable during the booking process. Would have appreciated if the staff upon check-in would have advised about it. One German main TV channel was not working properly - the screen was very blur- and even though I informed the reception about it , it was not fixed nor was I informed that e.g. they could not fix it during my stay.

We stayed for a short time, but it was enough to enjoy an entire concept in hospitality: cordiality, willingness to help at all times, a very clean and welcoming place; But the best thing is its terrace on the top floor (where the bar counter that is also the reception) has outdoor breakfast to start the day, and a glass of wine or beer at night to finish. A 100% recommended hotel

Maybe it was our mistake when booking, but the standard superior room we stayed in was too small, with a Japanese-style bed on the floor; but it really was quite an experience

Breakfast was very good, fresh and tasty, fresh coffee as part of the deal. The bar was the hub of the hotel with great atmosphere at peak times. Location couldnt have been better

We booked a loft room which we got however it was a disabled room , i am not a lover of wet rooms which is what we got, and on the 1st floor I was expecting a higher floor maybe 6th/7th. I think there was a query on my booking as i couldnt be found straight away when i registered. A very DIY hotel, registration, pay for all bills at the bar, tea/coffee makings in the galley which had run out, ironing board tiny. Room floor not very clean when we arrived.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bar and the view were fantastic, and the location couldn’t be better. Although the reception isn’t on the ground floor, which felt a bit odd at first, I soon realized it’s actually a clever design choice.

I understand this is due to hotel policy and how things are organized, but I would still prefer the addition of internal phones and room service.

The staff are very welcoming. It seems there is a variety of languages spoken by various staff members - English is very accessible, along with, I think, French. The room felt quite spacious. It was in a great location - near the Altstadt and felt very safe. Although there was no kettle in the room, the ground floor had a guests-only area where one can choose from a range of teas (and either take it to their room or take it on their travels), and do some ironing should they wish. I saw some reviews about the TV hanging over the bed - but I found that you could easily push it back against the wall so that it wasn't over the bed. I liked the decor in the room - a bit fancy-looking but also the exposed concrete ceiling was a nice touch. Some say the shower in the room isn't ideal but it's nowhere near the bed and there's a curtain that you can pull the whole way around it on the outside, so no issues with your travelling companion seeing you through the glass while you shower. I also liked the hotel's early communications and efforts to educate and ensure prospective guests' safety from scams through third party booking platforms - very important.

Maybe just one thing - the cost of breakfast was high, at €24. It was a delicious breakfast, though.
