The SPA-pool facilities (they even have a yoga room!), the bedroom size and decoration, the terrace, large wardrobe, the house in itself, the art displayed in the house, the location of the house, the staff welcoming.

1. The breakfast quality and choice is poor and need to be improved especially at the asking price (for instance, the ham is really of a bad and cheap quality), we only went to the breakfast once for this reason. 2. The bathroom really need an update- eg: a toilet seat soft close system with hydraulic rotary dampers, heated floor, new shower box ( presently it feels like we re back in the 90s).

The pool was freeeeezing for the time of year. We were expecting heated facilities or a hot tub quality. If it was dead summer, it would have been refreshing. After walking around in cold rain, it was a surprise for certain

Everything about this hotel is perfect - the location, the decor, the facilities, the staff, the food, everything! Situated below the castle in a quieter area of Prague this was perfect for us. It was a 5 minute walk to a tram stop from which you could access anywhere or only a 15 minute walk to Charles Bridge and beyond to the old historic centre. Having said that, there was also so much to do and see within the vicinity of the hotel. We only scratched the surface. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and were extremely attentive at all times. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated and made up each morning while we were having breakfast. Turn down service included complimentary chocolates and fresh water. Breakfast was very good. It's always difficult to get a buffet style breakfast perfect for so many people but they managed better than most. We ate lunch in the hotel restaurant on the day of our wedding anniversary and it was outstanding. The hotel also owns an exceptional Italian restaurant 150m away and this too is superb. We used the swimming pool on one occasion and, as with the rest of the hotel, it couldn't be faulted. A 5* hotel with an easy relaxed atmosphere about it. Perfect.

The Alchymist Grand Hotel is absolutely enchanting — a luxurious gem that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale. Every corner of the hotel is rich with charm and elegance. While our room wasn’t very large and was a bit on the darker side, it more than made up for it with its cozy atmosphere, lovely bath, bidet, and incredibly comfortable bed. The staff were exceptional — warm, attentive, and thoughtful. I especially appreciated how quickly they brought me an extra reading lamp when I asked. A magical stay in a truly unique hotel.

I would have liked to have more light in the room.

I can not say enough good things about this hotel. First, it is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. You can see how every piece was carefully chosen to decorate the rooms and the common areas. The hotel is very clean, in every nook and cranny. But most importantly, the staff is superb, from the front desk to the housekeeping to the personnel in the restaurants. Everyone is so attentive, kind, and thoughtful. I would give it 100/10 if I could! Also, the breakfast is delicious. The location is pretty central but in a quiet area. They're very pet-friendly, offering dog beds and bowls.

Hotel is beautiful. The property is very well maintained with exquisite features in every corner. I have stayed at many hotels but this one really delivers luxury. The breakfast was nice. The spa lovely. The location is amazing as it is tucked away in the centre in a quiet road but within minutes you can walk into the heart of old town, run along the river, visit the castle and Old Town along with its many restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here again. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The little cafe at the front serves Cocktails and Fizz alongside small. bites when you want a snack in luxurious surroundings. The beds are extremely comfortable. I could not have asked for more on this 4d trip. The reception staff, restaurant and cafe staff all were incredible generous and ready to help all the time. Thank you all for a wonderful trip.

The breakfast was excellent and in a good location

When we travel we tend to stay at 5 star properties. In Prague we tried a boutique hotel, your property. The only thing I would say is different from my ritz or four seasons reservations. I know the room and view I am getting at those properties. I thought with the royal suite and based on pictures we would have had a better view. It seemed to indicate we would but then no view. The room was wonderful just no view. So a little better descrition of what I am actually booking. I wanted the view lol

The hotel was in an incredible location, an historic building that embodies the beauty of the baroque style with ornate decor and a storied atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and attentive and seemed to really take pride in the place. The breakfast offering was of a high standard and it was nice to have a laid back dinner option at the czech restaurant located in the hotel.

Nothing to dislike, the shower bath was a little awkward when using the shower, but they usually are with old bathtubs.

The hotel was amazing and our room was super clean and spacious. We also had a lovely spacious bathroom and plenty of cupboard space. The interior decorations are stunning and the breakfast was delicious, offering a very good selection of food. The location is excellent and walking distance from the town centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a car and it was driven away to a parking place for us. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel.
