The breakfast was great, considering they are trying to appeal to an international population.

The bathtub in our room (24) is a veritable death trap! Being very short, I could hardly climb into it. Once the water was turned on, it was dangerously slippery. With the half shower door, water still went everywhere! I needed help to get out of the tub when I was done. Out of an abundance of caution, I didn’t use it again. It truly is dangerous. Also please remove the silly cheap movie posters from the room. Every wall does not need to be covered—especially when that isn’t really art. The room decor otherwise was really fun!

The location in the old town is very near to shops, restaurants, Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. We enjoyed all the additional elements - the fridge in the room, the hot wine in reception to warm you up after a cold day, kettle in the restaurant available to make hot tea and the amazing breakfast each day which is included and is why (as a family) we chose vintage sax over other hotels. The staff were all fantastic: from reception, kitchen and cleaning - there are all great. Rooms was clean, secure, well equipped, spacious with very comfortable beds.

The breakfast - excellent buffet with a variety of tasty food to choose from, including hot and cold dishes, muesli, fresh fruits, cakes, cookies, pastries, and an exceedingly good fresh-ground coffee. The bed - fresh and spotless, large (200cm), and comfortable. Also, the room was always cozily warm. The bathroom - immaculate, well lit, fully functional and very practical - large washbasin and mirror, shower with no leaks whatsoever, and the least fussy hot/cold tap mixers; also, delightful complimentary natural hair and body shampoo and body lotion. The room - was a bit smaller than what we expected from the photographs, but still perfect for our needs. The bathroom and the bed were freshened daily, and the fresh towels delivered frequently. There was also a small TV with five programs in Czech, a capsule coffee machine, and a small safe - we had no need for any of these. The coat and shoe cabinet is clean, has two mirrors, and is equipped with a shoe brush. Room had all of the other amenities listed in the description as well. Rooms have card-locks, an additional card was provided free of charge. Complimentary mulled wine served in the lobby was pleasant and welcoming when returning from the cold February weather. The staff was always discreetly present, and accommodating.

The multiple light fixtures in the room all worked well, but none were particularly pleasing. Basic throwaway slippers would be a practical addition.

The location is absolutely superb, downtown is walking distance, Prague Castle is round the corner too. Many shops, bars and restaurants are around. The hotel is very clean, we love the vintage decor,the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had enough varieties of tasty food. We are definitely coming back

All staff were very nice and helpful except Mr Roman, apparently he is the manager of the hotel. A very moody, sarcastic and unhelpful person who clearly doesn't like his job and in our opinion shouldn't be working in hotel industry at all.... other than that everything was absolutely amazing

Breakfast was good, they even supplied gluten free bread for me. The room had a bar fridge which was great as some hotels we previously stayed in, did not have a fridge. Location fantastic and easy to find when walking in the town. The area felt very safe. Loved the retro feel and decor. it also had a coffee pod machine in the room. Great views from the room.

Probably could add a few more healthier food items for the breakfast, there were lots of puddings, cake and pastries, which was great for some, but not if you have a dietary issue or watching your weight. All extremely tempting though 😀

We stayed 4 nights. When we arrived they gave us a rather small room on the ground floor for 2 nights (I think because the hotel was full), but they changed us to a beautiful one on the 4th floor with a balcony, spacious and fresh. The A/C works wonderfully, good beds (in both rooms) Mariana at the Reception welcomed us with information about the city, she was very attentive and helpful. The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere. The Breakfast is good, varied, with delicious coffee and delicious yogurts. Our check out was early before breakfast time and Mariana allowed us to have certain foods that were already ready.

Loved the 60’s feel of the hotel, the location in a quiet area, but just a few minutes away from a tram stop and the Charles bridge. We were there in December and the Mulled wine in reception was a lovely touch. We will stay here again when we are next in Prague - loved Prague

We really liked the hotel, but some of the breakfast buffet offer was a bit hit and miss. Also bath had a sharp trim which holds in the shower screen and bath edge was a big high when getting out after a shower - but this is really minor stuff

I went with my partner. The room was nice and clean, but a little smaller than I expected because it was listed as 16 m², which I don't think it was, but we only sleep in the room anyway and spend the day sightseeing, so it didn't bother us. The breakfast had a wide selection. We loved staying here

The mattress on our bed was very soft, but some people like that, so it's not something we can hold against the hotel.

I recommend staying in this hotel. The staff here are accommodating and nice. I arrived before my check-in time and left my luggage in the hotel so I could discover the city. Also, the administrator offered free water, lemonade and biscuits, and it was very nice because the weather outside was hot. The room itself was clean and comfy. They also provide the necessary soap and body cream set which are good quality. The bed and pillows are soft, I had a good rest there. Thank you for this experience.

During my stay in the room, I heard sounds from the hall, but it was not a crucial issue.

Good location, about 20 minutes walk to the old town. Away from the busy crowd (we went around christmas) so very quiet area. The hotel was great, nice 50's, 60's & 70's decoration, big room, great breakfast.

The only "negative" for us was that the water wasn't warm at all. In winter, after spending a whole day outside walking, a warm shower or bath would have been great. However, the water was not warm. But that's really the only "negative" we have to say.
