Lovely hotel with loads of old world charm - a real gem of a place with beautiful stained glass windows and traditional Czech painted ceilings ( which was what we hoped to find). The beds were a little firm for my liking but that’s pretty standard in Prague I understand. The staff are really accommodating and are there no matter what time you turn up at night. A nice quiet spot a stones throw from the castle… but for those who don’t like hills it might be a bit of a climb as it’s all up hill from Charles bridge, a 12 minute walk away. Having said that, it’s a good district and worth the climb and in fact we were really pleased not to be staying right in the centre as it’s much noisier and busier down there. On arrival we were offered a glass of Prosecco which was a nice touch! The photos show our room and the view from it. 100% recommend this place 🤩

Beds might have been a little softer (but I put a duvet under my sheet and the maid left it there when she tidied up each day)

The hotel has a great interior. It combines historical looks and modern comfort. We liked the location which is close to the main attractions in this part of the city. Beds were comfortable for us, but they might be too short for people taller than 1,90. Breakfast was ok.

The greatest disappointment for me was that we did not get the room which was on the photos. The receptionist tried to find the right one, but failed. Sending too many welcoming letters every day before the arrival was excessive.

The hotel is very well located, from there it is super easy to reach the Palace on top of the hill which is, for sure, what anyone visiting Prague wants to be. The hotel staff was super nice, they helped us with everything we needed!

The only problem we had was that our assigned room just had a bath with a hand hose shower, and not a real shower; so we asked to be moved to another room. The new one had a shower cabin, not a bath. Well, nothing can be perfect!

Location. It literally couldn't be closer to the Castle, food places were everywhere and decently priced. It was always clean, the staff were always there to help, there was a zabka [like mini grocery store] at the top of the road. And the Abbey is up there too. They include shower cap, 3-1 soap, comb, conditioner.

I like everything, just an FYI for travelers the stairs are super narrow but there is an elevator. And the shower is small. 800mm×800mm. Or 2.6 ft by 2.6ft

The room was fabulous, we loved it's quirkiness and old fashioned style. Location excellent, comfort excellent, staff excellent, cleanliness excellent.

The hotel breakfast offering was poor and expensive, there is much room for improvement, but plenty of places nearby to get a great breakfast anyway. The only area that let the facilities down in our opinion, otherwise facilities would have also scored a 5.

Poor breakfast. Very small breakfast room; few tables, randomly occupied by unpolite guests who spend the whole morning there. At weekends you must cue for more than 20 minutes to ger your breakfast and barely get what’s left from other guest. We suggest that staff organise a better planning . All guests might need to save their time for orher activites.

The King Charles hotel was a great choice for our extended weekend trip to Prague! The room was big and had comfortable furniture and a comfortable bed, and it was authentically decorated which made us feel like we were staying at a castle. Furthermore, the room was nice and clean. It was easy to check in and out, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We were very happy that we chose the King Charles hotel - we would gladly book again!

The breakfast was a bit bland so we found a cute café down the street called U Tří jelínků where we got great breakfast for a fairly cheep price.

Great location and really friendly staff. The room was big and the bed was also big and comfortable. Walking distance from the tourist highlights but very quiet at night. The desk staff couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is in an interesting historical building which has been sympathetically renovated - very clean and cosy.

I would appreciate a vegan breakfast option but otherwise all was pretty good, the room was dark but that was the nature of the historic building. Parking and public transport were a short walk away but that's no problem if you don't have mobility issues. No shower cubicle - I prefer a shower to a bath but the bathroom was very nice and a good size so, again, nothing much to dislike.

Lovely breakfast, great location, friendly service. Very unique old establishment, loved the painted ceiling in our room. Could do with some refurbishment, for example more comfy beds at some point (mine was quite hard). Yet, it's also part of the charm that not everything is updated ;-)

Nothing except the wish for a better bed or renewing the curtains. But these were not a big deal, it was very lovely nonregardless!

A cosy hotel in a good location, very close to the Prague castle, Charles bridge, and numerous other popular tourists attractions. Polite and helpful staff available 24 hours a day. Room with solid wood furniture and comfortable bed, clean bathroom. We loved the beautifully painted ceiling and stained glass windows in our room.

There was a limited amount of soap and shampoo in the bathroom and it ended after the first day but was not refilled on the next day during cleaning.
