Breakfast is amazing with so much choice . The staff is beautiful and the room is very spacious.

This is no way 4 stars as many things like hotel own restaurant, bar, pool, sauna are missing so price is questionable at best. Breakfast is held in a different hotel, and the hotel has no lift. Overall, the room was impressive, and all decor was really good. However, to me, bed is the most important thing as that is why we book hotel stay afteral. Red Lion bed is not where one wants to sleep. It not only gave me bed bug bites that still itch 3 days later but also back pain. Mattresses are horrific and so old. They feel sunk and ready for way to tip. Message left with reception so hopeful that new guests do not have to experience bites and spinal issues 😁

A traditional building just below the castle, we were very close to all the main historical sites. You can easily walk to the castle, bridge & are surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops. The staff were very helpful and easily organised a pick up from the main train station then a transfer to the airport. I enjoyed the breakfast, it had a good variety and the selection changed every day.

These were stated upfront by the hotel, but If you have difficulty with stairs, It is worth noting that there are none due to the building restrictions. I imagine this to be the same for the lack of aircon. We would certainly return again.

Location is within steps to Prague Castle and St Vitus Cathedral, two of our favorite sights to visit. Also pretty close to Petrin Tower and many good places to eat. Although not in the heart of Old Town, we felt like that was a plus. And if you're using public transportation, it's a short walk to many buses, trams, and trains.

The breakfast, while it had a decent selection of items, was pretty much the same each day so it became a bit boring. There are some cafes just down the street that are super tasty, so I'd recommend eating there once but then exploring the other options nearby.

We’ve just got back from a 3 night stay at the red lion hotel. I booked this hotel for my partners 30th birthday. We both had a fantastic time in Prague and this hotel really lived up to the expectations. The location was good. Approximately 15 minute walk to Malonstranska Metro link station, and approximately a 15-20 minute walk to Charles bridge, where we explored the town, it was truly beautiful and lots of things to see and do for all age groups. The hotel room was clean, warm and comfortable, the maid cleaned and made our beds for us every day and stocked up on extra supplies if we were running low. I.e fresh towels, soap, toilet roll. The breakfast was great, not too busy, and plenty of choice from cereal, bread rolls, meat, cheeses, juices, hot and cold drinks. To name a few. The staff were friendly and helpful, upon arrival the gentleman that checked us in asked if we needed a hand to take our luggage to our rooms as the rooms are a short walk approximately 50m to where the reception area and breakfast is. All around a great hotel. We would definitely be returning.

Great location, beautifully clean and superb breakfast. This was an exceptional place to stay, and full of character. We stayed with friends (we were two couples) and booked the family suite on the top floor. We each had our own bedrooms, and the bathroom was accessible through a small landing between our rooms. Only downside is it is a bit of a hike up several flights of stairs to the family suite. But we knew that from the hotel info when booking.

Fantastic location, decoration, comfort ... couldn't believe how much we got to see of the city thanks to the perfect location of this hotel. It took me hours of research to find this place and I have to say, this really paid off. The only place I found without a negative review and it was true. I want to thank all of the previous reviewers for their help.

Check-in is a bit confusing - you actually have to go to another hotel to find the reception. Wasn't that big of a deal but just so future guests know.

We stayed in the Junior suite which was ideal for a family with 2 older children. The location was great, glad we stayed here rather than the busier old town. We could walk up the road to the castle and palace or down the road to the old town. Lovely independent shops, mini market and restaurants/cafes within walking distance. Quiet at night. Old medieval feel to the hotel.The main reception was in the hotel a little further up the street. We had a key to enter our hotel which we liked as it was like a private residence but with the comfort of a receptionist if needed and room service every day. Had a lovely stay.

Location: Amazing. On top of the hill, near Strahovský klášter beautiful Library and St. Vitus Cathedral with its astonishing vitrals - first monument to visit once you enter the Castle. This side of the city is more quiet overall..Amenities: Great. It's always nice to have some tea or coffee. Bed: Comfy. Decoration: Beautiful as the pictures show. Staff: Super friendly and helpful.

This charming Hotel is, unfortunately, not working on its entirity so...you need to go 60 meters up the hill to do the Check-in, have Breakfast and do the Check-out at Golden Star Hotel. Shower accessories & water strength could be better.TV table widespread legs on a tricky place, when you get out of bed.

The location is great, 5 minutes from the castle, old town street and atmosphere. The apartment is also comfortable and clean, big enough for 4 people. The bathroom is a little bit small but clean and has everything you need. Beds big enough and comfortable. The apartment is on the last floor and it is difficult to carry the luggage on the stairs. Exceptional breakfast, good small restaurant nearby.

We had reserved parking slot but when we got there it turned out that we needed to search for a free slot on the street. It was insanely impossible to find and when we found it it was so small that it took a lot of skill to park the car. We needed to carry the luggage to the hotel about 200 meters. And we paid for that 19 euro and on the next morning we were forced to leave the slot and search for another one as the regulations required to get out by 12 PM. If you are travelling by car don’t choose that hotel. The reception was in another hotel nearby which was inconvenient.

The Red Lion is in a great location for the castle. The room we were allocated was very big. It was clean and had a mini bar, coffee making facilities. Most important it had a fan which was a blessing as it was rather warm while we were staying there. Would stay again if I came back to Prague.
