I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a few days and can’t speak highly enough about the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Every member of the team — from the front desk to F&B staff — was incredibly friendly, approachable, and always ready to go the extra mile. They were more than happy to provide local recommendations, help with directions, and accommodate any requests I had during my stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The room was spotless and well-maintained throughout my stay, and the common areas were always fresh and tidy — a clear reflection of the hotel’s high standards. The location is another huge plus. It’s perfectly situated within walking distance to major attractions, great restaurants, and public transport. All in all, it was a fantastic and memorable experience, thanks largely to the wonderful staff and unbeatable location. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

The hotel is a GEM! The space with essentially 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a kitchenette area was beautifully decorated, super clean, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The adjacent cafe run by the owners had the most amazing breakfasts and lunches at really fair prices. Coffee, refreshments were absolutely divine. Staff was beyond attentive, gracious, helpful, and very friendly. We had the pleasure of meeting Jan (one of the owners). The vision for this beautiful space as reimagined by him and his wife is worthy of 5 stars rating. Impeccable attention to every detail, down to fresh fruit bowls in the kitchenette. I will be coming back. The location on the quieter side of the Charles Bridge under the castle could not be more convenient. Area felt safe and less crowded and was near other really highly rated restaurants and establishments. LOVED this place!

During the balmy summer the only thing missing is AC. The rooms were cooled by open windows and cross breezes which worked for us and the nights cooled significantly which saved us but a future investment in perhaps space AC units would be wise.

Our stay at Hotel Nerudova 211 was truly unforgettable. It’s right on Nerudova Street, just below the castle, and a short walk from Charles Bridge. You really feel like you’re in the heart of the city’s history. The hotel itself is beautiful. It’s a restored Baroque townhouse, and you can feel the character in every detail like painted ceilings, antique furniture, even a porcelain stove in the room... There’s a real sense of history, but everything is also super comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Our room felt cozy, spacious, and really special—not like a standard hotel room at all. The staff were lovely. Warm, welcoming, and always ready to help—whether it was suggesting places to visit and eat, or just chatting about the city. It’s a small, family-run place, so everything feels personal and relaxed. To sum up :), If you’re looking for something unique, full of charm, and right in the middle of old Prague, don’t miss the chance to stay here.

We had a fantastic stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful - from Kamil who met us at the airport to the reception and cafe staff. It was easy to walk everywhere in Prague - the Palace just 10 minutes away and the Charles Bridge and old town 5-10 minutes walk away. The room was so nice - we were in the attic room it was really spacious and the facilities were great, we loved it. Such a lovely place to stay. Highly recommend the full breakfast - the poached eggs we ordered were perfectly cooked and the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. The whole breakfast was excellent and we didn’t need lunch! And the Manufaktura shower gel was really nice too! Thank you to everyone at Nerudova 211 for making us feel so welcome!

I really can’t think of anything!

It was beautiful and tastefully decorated. The bed linens were very comfortable and the rooms thoughtfully appointed.

I did not like the fact the first night we stayed we were woken very early -before 7 am-by alot of very loud foot traffic and the sound of furniture moving overhead. We were so tired from our travels since we had arrived late the night before and had hoped to sleep in. I understand it’s an old building but then rugs should be put on the floors. I have no idea what the people in 402-a family with 2 younger children -were doing but had they been walking on rugs I don’t think it would have been so loud. We did inform the front desk and they did speak to the family and the noise did stop.

After a long walk to the hotel (our fault due to riding the train to the central stop), the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel adds a great deal of 'complimentary' services, which aren't always on offer with larger branded hotels, which gives Hotel Nerudova 211 a truly unforgettable USP against other hotels I've used previously. Although just a short stay (1 night), it was clear that the staff were caring and supportive, the facilities clean and well maintained, which leads me to the room itself... well decorated, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. Bed, linen, and pillows were clean, soft, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the stay, I would certainly look to rebook if we ever come back to Prague.

If I could say there was a negative (which at the time of visiting it wasn't an issue), the lack of AC in the room may make things a little uncomfortable in the depths of summer.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, every staff member made us feel welcome and cared for. A special thank you to the gentleman who stood out with his professionalism, kindness, and warm smile-it truly made our days brighter. The room and bathroom were spotless and cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a kitchen in the room, which added a lot of convenience to our stay. The location couldn’t be better—close to everything you need to see and experience in Prague. We also loved the thoughtful touches: the complimentary drink on arrival, free water available throughout our stay, and the croissants left for us after a night out-such a perfect little snack! Thank you for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to come back!

Room was beatiful, very large as in terms of space and was very clean, staff was really helpful about city and places to visit. Hotels coffee was very nice. Very good breakfast. Free welcome drink from hotel was included. Even if it wasnt inclueded it was well worth the money. Highly recommended for a breakfast and a drink.

If i come to prague again i would want to stay in this hotel; but i wouldnt put myself into hotels designated driver situation again. I will not get into details but i will say that it ruined the experience and was very disorganized messy situation they put us in. Bookings driver was preferable.

Written by my daughter to whom I gifted the room to, for her birthday weekend: We really enjoyed our weekend at Nerudova 211 from beginning to end. It was our first time in Prague and decided to go to city pretty spontaneously for my birthday. Immediately, upon arriving we were given a short introduction to the area where we were situated and potential day trips we could do. This was very helpful for getting a lay of the land and what was realistic to fit into one day. The reception was incredibly friendly and helpful—and impressively fluent in both English and German. We felt very personally welcomed from all the staff. We were escorted to our room which had plenty of space and very modern facilities, but, best of all, beautiful original ceiling painting still beautifully intact. We loved the comfortable bed and spacious bath after a long day of walking through the city. We even received a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy for my birthday. The location of the hotel was perfect for walking to all of the sights—especially to Prague Castle. It was perfect to have a nice drink sitting out by the street at Cafe 211 and then taking a walk to have dinner in town.

Only thing is that it’s in a pretty hopping part of town so it’s a little loud.

Hotel Nerudova 211 is an impeccable family-run hotel: from beautiful, spotless, and quiet rooms with cozy beds to an amazing breakfast to a picturesque and very walkable location. The friendly and helpful staff gave fantastic restaurant recommendations, made reservations for us, and had tips on where best to go open-air ice skating. They even mailed our postcards as we ran out of time to bring them to the mailbox. We could not have asked for anything more during our stay (we even got a fresh layer of snow all over Prague and wonderful sunshine in January). Thank you for a wonderful and unforgettable stay with our family and friends, you made it a huge success. And yes, the rooms are even more charming in person than in the pictures!
