Staff were happy in their work and really helpful, the breakfast was varied and delicious, rooms were clean, quiet and wonderfully decorated, not too far to walk to the castle and palace, a little further to Charles bridge. Hotel is halfway up a hill which might put off the unfit traveller

We got everything we expected and more so no issues whatsoever

The hotel’s architecture is absolutely stunning, making you feel as if you've stepped back into the 14th century. The ambiance is truly unique, and the location is excellent—perfect for exploring the surroundings.

We only had breakfast during our stay, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. The food lacked variety, the brioche was too tough, and the vegetables were not as fresh as expected. Additionally, payment can only be made by card upon arrival, which might be inconvenient for some travelers. With some improvements in the breakfast options and payment flexibility, this place could be truly exceptional.

Check-in was easy, Lina helped us get situated and allowed us to store our son's mobility scooter on the first floor in a safe place. She offered us the use of the elevator (although it didn't go all the way to the top where our floor was, it was very helpful still). Breakfast was delicious and satisfying—my kids loved the "hot chocolate machine" and the varied breakfast buffet.

No elevator to the 4th floor (but that would require a total remodel of the hotel which would make it lose its character) so nothing, really.

Beds very soft, brrakfast is grest, location ideal. I would absokutely stay again! Polin, the receptionist, is amazing. She is incredibly heloful, has grest recommendations, very patient and was able to help in all situations. I travel a lot and the staff makes a huge difference. Polin made my stay at the Green Lobster an exceptional one! I stayed in Room 203 which faces the interior, not the street. This was great for me as it was quiet

It was a little chilky when I first arrived. But it was nit problem bc Polina arranged for a techinician to come immediately and fix the issue. She also arramged for a small space heater. It was only neccesary for about an hour then the room was fine. .

- The quality-price ratio is excellent, the prices are really low for a four star hotel. - Central location: its directly under the Schwarzenberg Palace, so its a 5 minute walk to reach the Castle. - There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, there is a tram stop in a 5 minute walking distance. - The breakfast is always plentiful and delicious. - The staff is really helpful, friendly and kind. - There are no keys or keycards, the doors are opened with a pin code (useful for people who keep losing their keys).

- The hotel is slightly uphill, which makes accessibility difficult if you dont use a car. - The stairs are extremely steep, so if you are physically challanged consider using the elevetor. - The elevator is extremely slow, you have to permanently push the buttons for it to operate and its out of order after 7PM every day. So if you plan to bring something heavy up to you room in the evening, you will have a hard time.

Really good breakfast, liked the baked goods. Perfect location. Just in the center between the two main parts of the city. A few minutes walk to the main attractions in both directions.

The location was brilliant just a stones throw from Prague castle ..and great restaurants and bars just a short stroll away very convenient location for Charles Bridge and the hot spots of Prague …The room we booked was just as shown on the photos with old beams and opulent furnishings also very specious much larger than expected with a lovely big bed and crisp cotton sheets nice and comfortable mattress ….The bathroom facilities were also great shower always constant hot water every morning without fail …Maybe a few more British Tv channels that’s all then it would have been spot on .Just to mention the staff are always so very helpful nothing to much trouble especially in reception even bathrobe and slippers available if need …The Breakfast was always varied on the hot selections on a daily basis … including bacon sausage eggs beans and of course continental with cereal/fruit coffee and selection of quality teas …overall could not fault it will definitely book again when visiting The beautiful city of Prague 😊

Just a few more British TV channels that would be 10/10 for me ..And as the building a very old property the stairs as they are winding but they do have a lift to access the top floors… but it wouldn’t put me off returning lovely hotel ….

We enjoyed our short vacation stay at this place. Staff were very helpful (special thanks to the receptionist Lina for a detailed guidance). Hotel is located in the middle of a picturesque historical area, a lot of sightseeing are at walking distance.

We assume that due to fact that the hotel building is from 14 century (even though refurbished), it has some noisy portable air-conditioning units. We needed some skill to play around with settings, because we also travelled during a period of high temperatures in the city.

The location was great and accessible to public transport. Check in was easy. The room was beautiful, full of character, clean and very well equipped. We did not need any heating or aircon. I’m not sure if the room actually has aircon so that would be an issue in the warmer months. The bathroom was perfectly adequate. There’s a kettle in the room and a small refrigerator which was handy. The bed was comfortable. Only negative was a very temperamental lift so anyone with mobility issues might want to bear that in mind. The breakfast was comprehensive and everyone should find something suitable. Reception friendly and they have maps and brochures if you need any information.

Minor gripe - no heated towel rail so the towels got a bit damp but that’s not a huge issue. They would have changed the towels daily if we had requested it. The stairs are quite dark and curved as they often are in these historic buildings.

We loved the location, the quirkiness of the old building and decor, and the breakfast. The front desk staff — Polin and Lina — were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They made phone calls for us, offered suggestions, and made us feel more than welcome and valued. Polin in particular on our last morning was so supportive in researching pharmacies at the train station and more.

The breakfast room could be bigger, but this was not a problem for us. It would also be great if the Green Lobster had a laundry service — but the front desk was able to recommend a place to do laundry (or have it done for you) that was not far. The lack of working elevator was not a problem for us, but I know might be a concern for others.
