The building was beautiful, historic, which is what we wanted. The apartment was superb, fitted out to a high standard. We had a very comfy bed which is not always achievable when traveling. A lovely touch was the bottle of bubbles awaiting us when we arrived.

The only fault was the stairs to the apartment. No lift, so we had to carry luggage. Stairs were spiral, wooden and very worn (over many years) of use. We had a wee mishap which resulted in wounds to an arm. Perhaps a sign at the bottom of the stairs alerting travelers to be wary on them may be useful.

Fantastic sixteenth century building in perfect location under the castle, gorgeous spiral staircase and double windows, balcony looking out onto courtyard. Loved the “Madonna with calf” moo themed art especially. Large living area.

I chose the property based off the advertised washer and dryer - the dryer didn’t work, I wouldn’t have come if I had known that, and we weren’t offered a discount/partial refund that I expected for the lack of a dryer. When I’m staying somewhere for a week, I want adequate laundry facilities! The kitchen facilities are rudimentary, there’s no oven or saucepan, and minimal utensils, which would have been nice to know.

Amazing 1546 building perfectly renovated and decorated with clear attention to details - from the cow paintings to subtle logo decoration of basically everything. Really included all amenities - from dishwasher to Bluetooth speaker. Great welcome, from friendly staff to a cold bottle of prosecco waiting on the table. Perfect location, close to all attractions but still far enough from the madenning crowds for it to be perfectly silent. Terrace of each apartment was very nice, especially since it was facing the internal garden so full of fresh air and free of noise. It's (obviously as the name suggests) on the castle side but only 10 minutes walk away from charles bridge / down town. We walked everywhere and we're happy NOT to stay on the down town side of the river.

If you are looking for a quiet but convenient location, this is it! You are within very easy reach of the castle, away from the melee of Old Town. The room is delightful - cosy, relaxing, characterful, modern, immaculately presented and carefully thought out. Good wifi. Super friendly receptionists, and use of a washing machine was really helpful. Thank you, it really IS exceptional and we will be back.

The rooms are quite dark, but that is the nature of the old building and didn't detract for us. We were a bit concerned that the pub in the courtyard would be noisy, but that was not an issue at all. The Reception hours are limited, but again that wasn't a problem for us. So, there was nothing we didn't like!

The location is amazing , safe area and very close to the castle and old town perfect for a short break to see everything

For those that like a cup of tea with milk, you will need to pick up some milk from the supermarket and pack a few teabags. The fruit tea and coffee selection is excellent though, it's just if you like a tea with milk.

Basically, we liked everything! Beautifully restored building and our room was just perfection. The rooms are now air conditioned too ! The hosts seem to have considered every comfort, including cosy blankets outside the front door, for if you wished to sit outside on the balcony on cooler evenings. We loved the location as it's away from the hustle & bustle of the old town, but it's only a 15 minute walk away (once you get your bearings!) Mariia gave us some fabulous recommendations for dinner, and we experienced some truly delicious local cuisine. We cannot wait to return 😊

Nothing to dislike, everything was great.

Everything was amazing. The location was great, very close to the Castle, restaurants, cafés etc. but far enough out from the main hustle and bustle. Our apartment was really clean with really comfortable beds and all amenities we needed! Check-in was out of hours so we really appreciated all the helpful check-in details and videos! You can also keep your bags with them until 7pm after check out which is super helpful.

It is quite hilly and some spiral stairs which isn't the properties fault at all and no probelm for us but just to bear in mind if you struggle with your mobility.

The room was spotless, the decor absolutely amazing, much larger than I expected, the bed and pillows are so comfortable and the cow art is really impressive. The rooms overlook a beautiful courtyard, the property used to be owned by an alchemist and there is a museum on the premises and Kellyxir, a bar that looks great, they have cocktails that look like potions, they also serve food but I would suggest to eat elsewhere as there are so many amazing food places a short walk from the hotel. The hotel staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We had a bottle of bubbly waiting for us on arrival with a sweet message. I really liked the location, as the name states, it's close to the castle and it's about 5 minutes walk from the closest tram station, but it's slightly uphill and the stairs leading to the rooms are steep so I wouldn't advise someone with mobility issues to stay. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is considering booking their stay here, luxury at affordable prices and in a beautiful area.

Surprisingly quiet street during day and also at night, historic building,modern furniture,very clean apartment, helpful stuff, easy access in to the property even at night.Everything you can find in description of appartment is at the accommodation ready for you to use.We do not like Prague city in general (we were traveling just because of our mom) but we have changed our mind after staying at this place.Would not stay anywhere else but here or accommodations on the streets close to this one during the future visit in Prague.

I wouldn't advise travelling with a car wider than 1,8m.The accommodation's parking lot is very spacious,but the streets on 'mala strana' leading to accommodation and to the parking lot are very narrow and you risk damaging your car if wider than 1,8 .

Maria greeted us and gave us all the information we needed. Once we entered the room, there was a note to welcome us, naming each individual person and a complementary bottle of prosecco. That was a nice surprise. We had a 3 bed Apartment and each room was airy and light, super clean and modern and had all we needed like hairdryer. The kitchen was well equipped and the fridge had some essentials. Every room had it's own tv as well as the one in the living room with access to Netflix etc. At the end of our stay Maria gave us a little bag of 'cow' sweets with their details on a card - What a nice way to hand over your details and thank the guest at the same time. The location was lovely and quiet but had all we needed on our doorstep like cafes, Restaurants, museum, little shops and all this with the most amazing views. The palace was a 5 min walk and we walked to the centre of Prague in 25 min. If we didn't want to walk we just jumped onto a tram which is very frequent. The people are nice, the food and beer is great and it is not massively overprised - what's not to like?

There was nothing at all we didn't like.
