Very nice hotel - our bedroom was lovely and well decorated (a bit small but more than enough though!) The breakfast was amazing!

The pool is beautiful but not very hot (lukewarm I will say) I think the property needs a jacuzzi to be honest and providing slippers would have been better as well.

This was one of the most wonderful hotels I have ever stayed in. I arrived at night & the exterior was all lit up. It waa breathtaking. All the staff were friendly & professional. My room was beautifully appointed & my bed was the most comfortable I have enjoyed in any hotel ever.

The bed was too high to get onto for someone of average height or smaller. Breakfast could do with some gluten free items luke gluten free bread, gluten free pancakes & signs to advise if the granola is gluten free. I did ask for milk alternatives e.g oat or soya in my room pre-arrival & during my stay but they never came.

My stay at Villa Copenhagen was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby, I was captivated by the modern yet elegant design that perfectly blends historical charm with contemporary luxury. The room I stayed in was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was apparent in every corner, from the plush bedding to the stylish furnishings. I particularly loved the large windows that let in plenty of natural light, offering stunning views of the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s stunning rooftop pool. The panoramic views of Copenhagen’s skyline while lounging by the pool were unforgettable. The on-site restaurant served delectable dishes, with a menu that perfectly combined local flavors and international cuisine. The staff at Villa Copenhagen were incredibly attentive and friendly. They made sure all my requests were handled promptly and with a smile. It was evident that they genuinely care about the guest experience and go above and beyond to ensure comfort and satisfaction. The location is also unbeatable, conveniently situated close to major attractions, shopping, and dining spots. Overall, Villa Copenhagen offers a unique, luxurious experience that I highly recommend for anyone looking for a stay in the heart of Copenhagen.

The design of the property is very stylish and well made. The breakfast was very good. Convenient location.

I think the highlight of the property is open swimming pool. And everything was organized bad about it. First they do not provide flip flops which is kind of expected from this level of the hotel. They say due to ecological reasons ok then you can provide the ones from bamboo. So all guest going around hotel in the bathrobe and winter shoes. The one entrance was closed so you have to walk around all the hotel to take another entrance. The staff was not able to handle the traffic of the guests means dirty towels were around, there were no tea and so on. The water in the swimming pool could be a bit warmer.

The building is well located, old but modern and with modern materials. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, helpful and gentle, trying to accommodate needs.

The rooms were a bit small compared to the price you pay. Maybe no one does the math of price / sqm, but it should/will be considered as a factor sooner or later by guests. Also the doors were heavy which made each neighbouring door that would close to make a bit slapping noise, potentially waking you up very early or late if your neighbouring visitors were leaving their room.

Some of the staff like Sandro were a credit to you so super friendly and helpful. The pool and bar are beautiful. Good vibes in the bar areas. The toiletries in the room felt a real treat! I liked the special water stations.

Tables reserved for long periods of time in the bar felt unfair. One afternoon we came back to the hotel and in the bar area all tables were reserved and nobody was sat in them! A hotel bar/ reception should just be tables as you turn up. Also your wine options are so so disappointing and expensive. In the harbour, I could have a reasonable NZ Sauvignon! Your wines were eye watering in price and not even very nice when ordered!

The staff were great especially Louise - all the meals were excellent and I couldn’t complain about anything - top tip re coffee at breakfast , don’t use the coffee machines , order a coffee with the staff - you will have to pay however . The lap pool is particularly nice , go early in the morning then you can actually do lengths without being hit by an excitable child !

The dj at night needs to play better music for the crowd that are in the atrium - it was too club - The light switches in the rooms are tricky and not user friendly - Go for a room overlooking the pool area - many of the other rooms look out at the street and train station ( speakers start at 6am) -

I liked pretty much everything. Very central. Walking distance to most neighborhoods. Near public transportation. Safe. Extremely good breakfast. Nice rooms. I was lucky though to get a room facing the courtyard overlooking the lobby = silence, as opposed to my colleagues who got rooms facing the central station train depot = noisy. Not sure if it is noisy or not facing Tivoli or street. Nice lobby with plenty of cozy seating for a late evening drink before bedtime.

A bit annoying that you had to book the pool (eventhough I get the idea behind it). Didn't really understand the deal there either... paying extra?, so I didn't even use it one second for the two days/nights. And for the rate I think it could be included from the beginning. Tried to get up there, but the door was looked and no staff at the moment, so I wasn't sure if you could even use the patio (without using the pool) or not. I saw a sign for the "playroom", but I wasn't really sure how to use it (yes, I know, I could have been a bit more patient and proactive asking the nice staff about both the playroom and pool, but... now I didn't... those things I just want to be super clear anyway).

The hotel was well located next to Tivoli and within a short walk of the pedestrianised shopping streets . Our room could not have been closer to the train station yet we did not hear a thing contrary to other reviews that we read prior to our trip . The staff were incredibly attentive making our stay very nice . Breakfast…what a choice , best hotel hot buffet breakfast I have had , all the family were catered for .

Our hotel suite was very clean and beautifully designed. Bed very comfortable and quiet. Hotel very calm and ample room in corridors and never too crowded. Staff excellent and very helpful. Enjoyed DJ set in evenings.

Loved the swimming pool but hotel would benefit from offering treatments eg massage/ facials / reflexology etc Restaurant was closed during our stay but Coffee Bar Rug was brilliant with great atmosphere and food.
