Good location, not to far from all the tourist attractions. Convenient for a bus to the train or bus stations. Nice view from the balcony. An elevator.

They had a nice balcony that was filthy. Even the chair and little table was not clean. If they would paint the rails, get rid of the empty molded planter and put screen barriers between the rooms it would make it a nice little place with fresh air to eat a snack or just sit and relax. Couldn’t completely close the shutters at night.

The location was excellent. Short walk to everything you needed. Virtually on the Camino path and so central to all shops, cafes and not far from the cathedral. The bus stop to the airport was literally 50 metres from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I think there was a cafe for food but no mention was made of how to eat there or how to order food. It could be a little noisy at night but it was right on the main road. However, if the windows were shut it was fine and the room was airconditioned.

I had a great stay at this small boutique-like hotel in the center of Pontevedra. It blends rural and historical style with modern elements and is within walking distance of everything. Super clean. Check-in was fast and efficient, and the staff was nice and helpful. The value for money? Unbeatable. We had a room with a balcony and lovely views (pic attached). Now let's talk breakfast: I'm a huge breakfast fan, and some reviews said it was too basic. Okay, it's not the most lavish breakfast I've had, but calling it "too basic" is an overstatement. While it's rather modest, it covers all the basic necessities one needs in the morning. Maybe I just expected more because I was so fond of this place. I've stayed in hotels with more stars that didn't meet the standard of this one. I've mostly seen young people working in this hotel; they were all smiling and tried to anticipate my needs (which I’m not used to, so I was like, "Nooo, you don't have to do this"). That made the difference here: I could see how passionate the staff was about this place.

In my case, everything was perfect. I mean, the picture on the wall wasn't quite my taste, but hey - art is subjective, right? 😉 (Those stone walls, though - beautiful!)

A wonderful friendly hotel in the heart of the historic centre, very convenient for all the museums, churches, restaurants. Staff were lovely. Excellent breakfast. Lovely clean and quiet room with a balcony overlooking green space and a convent in the distance. We had a problem with the front door and we were locked out for around 20 minutes in the evening. The Manager handled it professionally and repaired the door the following morning.

Rooms were a bit tired. Cracked shower screen and grubby silicone that needs attention. TV was very small with a basic remote control. But these issues didn't affect our enjoyment of the hotel.

Rafa was so friendly and nice. He made me feel very welcomed during my stay and even remembered my birthday! The location is great, everything is walking distance from the hotel, including restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, markets, bus stops, the cathedral and much more. The bed and shower were comfortable, but the staff is the reason why I would go back to this hotel.

A very nice stone building which gives atmosphere to this hotel. Good reception staff, a cafe/breakfast area and a lower restaurant. The twin room was spacious with air conditioning. All good value for money and a good location to walk into the old town centre. Bus route 6a to/from Airport is outside the door. €1pp single journey.

Very little to dislike.

A Perfect Pilgrimage Stay at A Tafona do Peregrino This charming hotel, steps from Santiago's cathedral, was the perfect base for our Camino. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and the breakfast, a delicious spread of local treats. But the true highlight was the incredible hospitality of Charo and Carlos. Their warm welcome and helpful advice made our stay truly special. Highly recommend!

The room was big and cosy, although the ceiling was low in parts and you had to be careful not to bump your head. The location was good and the staff was helpful. There was an option for a 7euro breakfast

We were in the attic room, which was fine for us but would not be good for someone with mobility issues as we had to take the stairs from 2nd to the 3rd floor. The tiny garbage in the bathroom had seen better days. The shower could do with fresh grout.

The location was great. The room was older but comfortable and clean. The staff was nice, the breakfast was very good value and had fresh orange juice and good coffee. Well worth the price. We would have stayed longer but they were full.

The shower was great but the door swings in which meant you had to go inside before you could turn on the shower.

I liked the location of the hotel that accommodate our pet dog. Very walkable to Santiago Compostela center. Just a few meters away across the street is the Mercado (Market) where one can get food items and souvenirs. Tons of restaurants and cafes as well and main road. Much love place. Amenities are excellent.

The breakfast offer is quite simple. Hope they can add more items.
