Overall, the hotel was decent. The only real issue we had was with the room type - we needed a twin room with two separate beds. And this particular room (maybe it’s different in others) felt a bit worn out. For example, the soap holder fell off the wall, and one of the light bulbs burned out. The beds were comfortable, but we were confused by the bedding. The duvet wasn’t inside a cover - instead, there was a sheet, then the duvet, and then another sheet on top. That’s just not hygienic. The duvet can shift around, and who knows how many people have touched it? Honestly, what were they thinking? Breakfast was okay, but the fruit wasn’t tasty, which was surprising - we’re in Spain, after all. The coffee wasn’t good either. That said, the rest of the breakfast was acceptable. I’d rate the hotel around 8 out of 10. The quality was good, the location was great, and the staff seemed friendly. One important thing to mention: the blackout curtains in the room were excellent - they really blocked out the light, so the room stayed nice and dark. Also, it was pleasantly cool inside, which was a welcome escape from the Spanish heat. However, everything that happens in the hallway is very audible in the room - the sound insulation is quite poor.

Location was fantastic - very close to the centre and everything was in walking distance. 2 minute walk from the bus stop if you want to go to the beach or Bioparc or Oceanografic etc. Only a 20 minute walk from the main train station and easy to find. Brilliant bars and restaurants nearby, all of which were reasonably priced. Room was bright and clean and had a fridge/hairdryer/safe deposit box/TV and good air-conditioning and Wifi. Bed was super comfortable. All staff seemed friendly and attentive.

Shower pressure was poor and difficult to control the temperature. Breakfast was expensive to add on (we just went to the local bakeries instead). Maybe a little pricey but this was likely due to the good location.

The hotel was lovely and in an excellent location! The rooms were nice and the decor was modern. The whole feel of the hotel was great! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The room wasn’t ready when we checked in at 3pm so we had to wait, yet still we had to pay full price even though it stated check in is at 3pm. When I queried this, the lady was very rude. For a triple room, we never got enough toilet roll and clean towels. We often had to request for more.

Staff was particularly good and immensely helpful. Extremely kind. Especially Gabriel from breakfast was exceedingly kind. Also the staff at the reception was always willing to help with everything.

Breakfast could have been better. We had two premium rooms but there was an obvious difference between the two. The hotel's ground floor is under construction which makes it a bit more difficult to enjoy. Also, due to the works, in one of the rooms there was a constant smell coming from the bathroom throughout our stay.

The location of the hotel in the old town of Valencia is excellent. There are many restaurants nearby, the metro and railway station are ~500m away. The main attractions of the old town (Mercat Central, Catedral, Plaça de la Reina and many others) are all within a short walking distance. The hotel rooms are clean and modernly furnished, the hotel staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel's free Wifi was fast and worked without interruptions. The buffet breakfast has a very wide and tasty selection.

I liked everything.

Very nice location in the center. Excellent breakfast with lots to choose from. We had a corner room with many windows and light-blocking curtains. For some reason, the staff kept closing them. Room was smallish but in good condition and had everything we needed (we brought our own kettle). Wifi worked.

No waste bin in the room, only in the bathroom, no kettle. We knew about the latter, but still a disappointment. The ventilation was not very good. We discovered the temperature panel on the wall on the second day (not turned on when we arrived), so it got a little better, but still needed to open the windows in the morning for fresh air. There are only two small elevators, so be prepared to take the stairs to avoid long waits. Not all staff spoke good English (it's Spain), and the names got very distorted on the invoice. Otherwise staff was helpful, all misunderstandings were solved swiftly and they got us a taxi early in the morning.

The location is perfect, just a few steps away from Plaza del Ayuntamiento, and very close to a ton of shops, restaurants, cafés, museums and other places of interest, as well as buses and metro for transportation. Although the hotel floor and reception area were in heavy relifting during my stay, I didn't experience any discomfort because of the work. The breakfast was as copious as it was good, and a special mention to the kindness and efficiency of the staff who helped me manage the theft of my wallet (beware of pickpockets at the grand market nearby!). The corner room was quiet, spacious and well-equipped. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had no problem sleeping like a baby.

It's really to complain about something: the wifi speed in the hotel was really not that great.

Excellent location, near the main square and all the places of interest that we wanted to visit. The reception staff was very helpful, especially Luca. The room was relatively spacious for a triple. Very good mattresses, linens and towels. Easy to use safe.

There was very little room to sit comfortably at the desk when I had to work. The two main aspects that could be improved have to do with the cleaning staff and the room temperature. While the maids were really helpful, we noticed that they did not appear to hover or at least sweep the bedroom floor. As for the room, the only way to cool this centrally heated room down was by opening both the outer and the inner set of windows, which is not an a viable solution in a central location near bars and restaurants (the noise levels and the smell of food were a bother ONLY when we had the windows open). Aside from these issues, we had a great time and will probably return to this hotel if visiting Valencia again.

The location was excellent for exploring the city to see all the main parts and links to the metro. The staff were very helpful with all questions and very friendly. The breakfast had a range of options with wonderful freshly squeezed Valencia oranges.

The room I stayed in was small and the bathroom facilities were simple. For a 4 star hotel ,at the price per night, I would expect tea and coffee making facilities in the room as a basic. It was clean but quality of linen and towels could be better.

I’ve stayed with different Catalonia hotels. But this one was the smallest yet still kind of cute. Location is middle of all the action. But still reasonably quiet. Clean rooms and quality fixtures.

Currently Under renovation so no free areas to lounge or do some work like in other Catalonia hotels. No public access to a pool or balcony areas. One of our key cards constantly needed replacing.
