All went pretty well, with a few exceptions noted below. Enjoyed the pool and the quiet location. Staff was very helpful when we had to add extra nights. Room was clean.

Electronic door keycards were a problem. It would often take a half dozen tries before the lock would allow the door to be opened. Same thing happened when trying all three of our keycards. One other concern was: some previous occupant had placed a plastic bag over the room's smoke detector on the wall near the ceiling- probably a smoker who didn't want the alarm to sound by covering it up. This is a fire code violation and a fire hazard to occupants. Room 114

The receptionist was very accommodating and helpful. The room was larger than expected. The bed linen looked nice and was comfortable.

Although floors were vacuumed, they did not seemed mopped. My feet got very dirty when I took my shoes off. I also saw a small cockroach on the phone in my room. Behind the bed at the headboard board did not seems as clean as it could be. There was a lot of handicapped parking & in front of my room. I could not find a space close and had to leave at 4:00 am to catch a plane & felt uncomfortable going outside at that time going to my car.

the bed. We were in a double bed room and the mattresses were worn futon the sides facing the other bed. You had to move to the opposite sides (near the wall. Mine was so worn out that I rolled over in bed and fell out of bed. They needed to be rotated or or changed. Reported to the person at the front desk who was polite, said he would report it and thanked me.

I recommend booking two nights at this hotel/ location if you are a sole female on a budget drive through the area because there is a lot of beautiful things to see and do. One night will not be enough to rest and feel rejuvenated during your sole road trip. After one night at the hotel, then one day of sightseeing in the area, I was so exhausted. I wish I had book two nights. My goal was to visit the Santa Barbara Mission for my first time and the hotel was priced fairly well on booking.com, and the hotel turned out to be a clean and safe with kind and friendly front deck staff. But if driving from Palm Springs to Seattle solo it is not worth driving to this hotel after after sunset for only one night stay because the hwy is dark scary and not lighted well and lots of construction on the highway at night enter Santa Barbara area with many closed Hwy lanes. The drive after dark is dangerous if you are feeling tired.

The entrance door lacks door seal all around. The gap results in light coming in from the light intersection all night long. The traffic in the road was not heavy to the intersection but I could hear the cars stop and break out side the window all nights long. The sounds of small delivery trucks noise turning right into the small and nice food shopping center just out side my window was not comfortable and for sleeping. The windows need to be double glass thickness for sound control. The window glass and frame was thin and useless because I felt like was sleeping outdoors. They have not bothered updating the windows at this hotel They are original 1960’s and cheap quality. Please fix the door and replace the window at least on this side of the building.

The rooms are not very big but they were quite comfortable, clean, and well arranged. Enjoyed our stay at this motel. Good value for the price. Also, the staff at the front desk welcomed us with hospitality as well. Good experience.

It is close to traffic, but it was ok, not noisy at night and we all slept well.

The place is fully renovated and deserves a much higher rating. Need to alert the hotel that they are still sending out to guests booking their services old alerts from the last pandemic stating the place was undergoing intense renovation work, which might confuse and prompt people to cancel their booking.

There was nothing not to like. The location was convenient to everything and the swimming pool a plus we appreciated.

Friendly and accommodating staff, exceptionally clean room, one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in, quiet (near a main road, but it didn’t bother me at all), simple but tasteful decor, convenient proximity to UCSB, restaurants, groceries, coffee, and beautiful natural surroundings.

The pool didn’t open until 11am. Vending machine not working properly.

The room was clean, and I was able to check in early. The person at the front desk was very friendly.

The price for one night was insane for a motel 6, which was disappointing. It was noisy throughout the night, most of which can't be controlled. However, the neighboring room etc was quite loud.

Staff was very accommodating and let us check in when we arrived in the morning at no extra charge. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. The pool area was nice - it is right next to a busy highway though. Very close to the airport.

Really expensive for a Motel 6 but still the cheapest option in Santa Barbara.

It was quiet. The lovely lady at the front desk gave us a room above the office. The smell of the Jasmine bushes lining the driveway was delightful!

Rooms are small but I didn’t expect more considering the price in Goleta area.
