Extremely dog friendly and good outside space including garden and terrace. Great building and space to relax with your dogs just outside the city centre. Staff were all brilliant; very friendly, helpful and seemed to care about the customer experience; couldn’t do enough to ensure a pleasant stay. Free secure parking where you can leave car until 5pm on check out day. Local supermarket 10 min walk if needed. Good breakfast. Food in restaurant (Gorgeous dining room) excellent and service attentive and impeccable.

Unfortunately the bathroom did smell of drains and room probably needs a bit of attention.

The hotel is in a great location (just a 5-minute walk to the metro station). The staff are very friendly, the breakfast was perfectly fine, and the basement room for breakfast that was criticized in other reviews is absolutely okay. The hotel’s private parking lot is not very large, but I managed to get the last spot.

The room was very small for a double room, and the view from the window was into a bush. The air conditioning from the 90s had a slightly sweet smell when turned on.

The hotel had a lot of glamorous decor. Obviously an old building. Very ornate restaurant, reception and the stairs. It had an outside area to sit, relax and have a drink. We didn’t have breakfast or a meal so can’t comment. I hear the restaurant is excellent. It was nice and quite in our room when we were there. Friendly helpful staff. Great complimentary safe parking on site. That was one of the reasons for using this hotel.

We knew the hotel was slightly out of town. The area wasn’t great, but that is reflected in the price. We walked 5 mins to the metro which took us to the centre very quickly. The room was fine for what we needed. Quite comfortable bed. Small bathroom but adequate. Smelt of drains though. Probably because its an old building. Didn’t have breakfast as only one night quick stay. Would stay again.

Really good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, good secure car parking. The room was warm without being stuffy, clean and comfortable, nice size bathroom and a great shower with plenty of hot water.

The rooms were a little noisy, I think this was partly due to the age of the building as the corridor floors were a bit creaky so one can hear people walking past the room, and sometimes upstairs too.

Room was clean. The staff was very adorable, and helped us whenever possible. They answered all our questions. The exterior area is very cosy and you can stay there as much as you can.

The bathroom had a smell and this happened in all the 3 booked rooms. The breakfast room was very small, and the price didn't match what was being served. One of the coffeemachines were broken, while the other had only a few functions working. The parking lot was full and we couldn't park there.

The free on site parking was very convenient. The prices in the bar and for the sharing platters were very reasonable. The room had all that we needed and being able to forgo having our room made up in exchange for a glass of wine was a very good idea. ( We only stayed 2 nights). We were able to see the sights of Lille by walking from there.

The room was very small and one of our rooms had a nasty smell from time to time. There was no inside bar area so all drinks had to be taken outside . .not so good when it was windy and wet but lovely when it was sunny ( and we had all weathers!)

Really friendly staff with very comfortable rooms. I wasn't expecting much from a Best Western, but I was very impressed with the room size, staff friendliness and facilities in general. I liked the option to not have your room cleaned daily, for which they gave you a free drink voucher for the bar.

It was a little bit of a walk to the city centre, but we knew that when we booked.

Everything about this hotel shouts quality. It is really brilliant being the former home of of a very rich person from yesteryear. It is in a humble area of Lille and at first glance seems to be a factory but wait till you enter the main entrance where coaches and horses would ofload their passengers. All the walls are exactly as they were when occupied and they with the location of the restaurant are outstanding, The rooms are modern and spacious. Do not be put of by the facade. The staff are very informative and know the history of it and we would certainly stay there again.

Great place to stay a night on a road. Everything was nice and tidy, amenities were as expected. Parking was enough, and it was private, behind a automatic gate.

Location is not great, with neighborhood being quite unpleasant. The room was bit noisy and had a slight smell, both of which probably are caused by the building being very old.

It was nice, clean, accessible by car and an elevator inside. Staff was kind and respectful

Neighborhood is not spot on center. The room did not have a small fridge as most of the hotels I’ve been have but they were kind enough to accommodate me on their fridge at the reception
