We arrived quite late due to a theatre show finishing late and staff were available and very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs. Very close to Regent's park and just a 20 minute walk from a museum we wanted to visit. The room was comfortable and the shower spacious. The towels were super soft and all felt clean and fresh. There was a good, basic gluten free breakfast available. I loved that the window was open on arrival allowing fresh cool air in. I usually find hotel rooms too hot and this one was just right.

Whilst there was very noticeable traffic noise outside, I expect this in London and travel with earplugs accordingly. I would recommend earplugs for those used to quiet or with sensitive hearing as this could be a downside for some travellers.

Coffee/tea machine available also the entite day. + Great price compared to similar hotels in the city centre + Room was clean + Calm neighborhood, not much traffic. + Friendly staff + Nice historical lift - Room was really small and needs refurbishment - Noisy AC or something hummimg all night - Unstable pressure and temperature of the shower - supper annoying - Almost impossible for toilet to flush the toilet paper. - No vegetables for breakfest ( I don't understand this )

Located near Baker Street station (4 different tube lines), Americana Hotel is well-connected to all the main attractions of London. The area felt safe, and having 24/7 front desk is a plus point for sure. All staff were nice and helpful. The room is a bit tiny (which is expected considering it is an old building), but it is perfectly fine for 2 people. The room was cleaned and towels were replaced daily. National Express coach station to Stansted is a short walk down the block. The breakfast buffet had all the basics needed for a breakfast (including gluten-free and alternative milk options). Complimentary tea and coffee are available around the o'clock. I'd definitely stay again at Americana!

The guest wifi was not functioning properly in our room for some reason :(( However, the front desk immediately gave me access to the staff wifi (the one that was reaching our room) so problem was solved on the spot.

As other reviews I had read before booking, the breakfast was very good. The hotel caters for gluten free if needed, which is more unusual. Facility to make hot drinks any time one wanted. The location is 10 minutes walk from Baker Street station so very handy for getting to places in London. The bedroom and bathroom were compact but adequate for what we wanted. There was always a good supply of hot water in the shower, which was easy to use. The bedding was good and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable with a good spacious double bed. The heating was very efficient! Reception staff all very helpful and could leave luggage when we arrived early and on on last day too after checking out.

There was an air extractor in the bathroom, which was small, which was constantly on so was very noisy, but ok once the door shut, and the bathroom could do with redecorating, taps etc loosing the chrome finish. The room was clean but more care needed in cleaning everywhere eg under the radiator by the window was a line of dust. Although you can leave luggage this is only behind the door of the front room, so not sure how that would work if there were multiple bags.

Hotel location is very good. Tube station is 3 minutes walking distance. Stansted Airport shuttle service stop is also 3 minutes away. Hotel surrounding is full of different good food options. There was complimentary coffee and some small snacks available for guests at the lobby area. Room was quite tight but met our expectations. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast options were enough and good for our taste.

Wifi was not working properly in the room. I had to go to the lobby area for smooth connection. Well, I enjoyed complimentary coffee whilst working so didn't complain about that much :)

Excellent location not far from Baker Street, and the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was tasty, and contrary to other reviews, we found the continental breakfast to be varied and delicious! The room was pretty basic but clean, and the bed was comfortable. A hairdryer was included with the room, and we could get an EU plug adapter at the reception when we asked for one. They also looked after our luggage until check-in while we explored the city, and we were able to leave our bags by the reception after check-out until our bus home, which was really nice. It’s perfect for those who are out sightseeing all day and just need a place to crash, so the small room worked out just fine for a couple of days.

The room is in an older downtown building, and the soundproofing isn’t great. You can hear noise from the hallway clearly, as if people were talking right in the room with you.

Hotel was conveniently located, close to buses and tubes(Baker St), yet in a pretty quiet area. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but more than adequate for our needs which was as a base while we went to a gig at the O2 and also exploring London. It’s a reasonably short walk to Oxford St, but as before the buses run close enough if you run out of energy! The buffet breakfast was just right with a decent coffee machine and choices of fruits, yogurts, pastries, cold meats, cheese, boiled eggs bread( toast). Juices and milk alternatives. A small area but managed very efficiently. A small lounge area with tv 24 hour staffed access if you arrive/ come back late. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage, although this was just in the lounge area and not stored.

Nothing really. There a couple of areas where the floor levels change unexpectedly and can take you unawares!

The location is very good for going to Regent's Park and Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, as the hotel is just off from the outer circle. Breakfast was continental with a good choice, although I would have liked to seen more fruit e.g. melon, strawberries, etc. and maybe some olives, cucumber, etc. The superior room was beautiful and professionally decorated, it was refurbished to a very high standard. The beds could do with blankets or a throw over them as the nights are getting cooler.

Because it is a listed building there are sash windows in the bedrooms, so you can hear the noise of the traffic, the windows also let the heat out of the room. I had ear plugs in and was very tired when I went to bed, so I soon forgot about the noise outside.

We liked location (close to Reagent's park, Baker, Oxford streets, Airoport voaches stops, bus and metro stations) good breakfast, good price.

Room window was facing the street, room door was in front of elevator - naturally more noise. Room seemed to be slightly smaller than last time. On the checkout day before checkout time, one of room cleaning crew tried to enter our room without knocking. Probably on the checkout day it would be wise to clean rooms after checkout time, not before.

Whilst I am not personally a fan of continental breakfasts there was plenty of good quality choice. Location for NW London was great. We were going to Hyde park( 1 mile approx) but the hotels was also a great location for Marylebone High street and for Lords.

Our room could have done with a bit of TLC but nothing serious. I was also surprised how quiet it was during the night. None of the usual other guest noises.
