The room was much bigger than I expected - there was a lounge/kitchen area that was well equipped, a separate toilet/shower room and a comfortable double bed, and air conditioning in both areas. Both the living area and the bedroom had a TV (although I didn't use them). I only stayed one night so didn't really make full use of the facilities, but I'd definitely stay again.

The room was very hot when I arrived as the radiator was on full blast and I couldn't work out how to turn it off - but that was my fault as I should have asked!

Location was great. The room was ideal for our needs and was cleaned every day. Toaster did not work but was quickly replaced with a working one. Every thing was provided you needed.

The veneer on the work bench next to the kitchen sink was damaged and lifting. Must have been reported previously as an attempt had been made to repair it with white silicon. The bathroom sink started to leak, from underneath, every time we used it so reported it to reception who said they would tell maintenance. Ended up using the provided hand towel to mop up the puddles evetime we used the sink.

If you're visiting London and you're additionally a Sherlock Holmes fan, this place is perfect for you. Gloucester Place in Merylebone is located in the heart of London, just steps from the famous Baker Street, which runs parallel to it. From here, everything is within easy reach. Baker Street Tube and Marylebone train station are just a few of the transportation options. And when you're flying in via Luton, the coach/bus stops 150m from the place! Our accommodation was a small but compact room on the lower level of unit 46. By 'compact,' I mean a bathroom with a shower and a mini-kitchen in the closet! It has a sink, cabinets, kitchen utensils, a toaster, a kettle, and more. In the closet you'll find a safe, a hairdryer, and even an ironing board and iron. The bed is large and comfortable, just right for two. There's also an air conditioner, a mini-coffee maker, and similar amenities. The surrounding area is full of shops and small stores that are open late. The only drawback is the narrow and steep stairs, but this will only be a problem for those travelling with heavy luggage or those with disabilities. The prices are reasonable for London, and the person renting the rooms is very friendly. The housekeeping service is excellent. Overall, it's a quiet, pleasant place, and everything is close by.

The bed was comfy, had 4 normal pillows with 2 small green pillows on top. Had a thick duvet. Shower had hot water and bar soap was provided along with shower gel and large towels. Bathroom was clean and had a hand towel provided. Toilet was not loose or broken and worked great. Had a fridge and a sink in the room. There were bowls and pans provided. There was a safe provided. I didn't use these but they were there. Aircon was provided but didn't use this. TV worked and remote worked. Location was really great - favourite part of this booking, it was close to so many restaurants and tube stations. It had lots of museums nearby and some great parks too.

The TV had netflix but needed internet. I managed to connect my phone to the internet but the TV wouldn't connect to the internet for some reason. We only stayed one night so weren't too fussed but was a shame it didn't connect to the internet and netflix couldn't be accessed. There is no lampshade, just one big light. So having a lower lighting shade wasn't possible.

I returned from a business trip that day, arrived at Luton airport, took a train to London and arrived at St Pancras Station. Next day in the morning I had a scheduled meeting and then I took a train to my home city - Birmingham from Euston Station. In other words, I choose this hotel only for its location. At the same time, I liked that the room has a small kitchen and a rather interesting view from the window (my room was on the top floor).

Of the disadvantages, I can note the lack of cleaning agent for dishes, after all, I prefer not to use glasses in hotels until I wash them myself. Also there are problems with the refrigerator, the freezer is leaking.

The location of the place we stayed at was excellent. It was very central, and we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit without even needing public transport. We arrived and departed from Stansted Airport, and the National Express stops were extremely close to the accommodation. In terms of cleanliness, it was decent, but the room seemed to lack proper ventilation, especially in the bathroom. Even though there appeared to be a ventilation system, there was no airflow, and the steam from the shower lingered for a very long time. Additionally, we noticed mold in a few areas of the bathroom and toilet, which is not healthy, especially for long-term stays. Additionally, you are required to check in by 9 PM; otherwise, you have to pay an additional £100 to check in later.

I had a seven night stay here with a cute view. Very good location with great proximity to bakers street and marylebone stations and regents park. Warm, clean, comfy rooms. Receptionist was kind enough to take my big suitcase up to my room, which would’ve been hard for me on the stairs. Daily room turnover was available even though sometimes it felt a little early if I wasn’t out of my room by 11 the housekeeping would knock.

The walls were a little bit thin, so my neighbours were very loud one night and it was a little hard to go to sleep, but I was too tired to get up and knock on their door. Check out carrying my big suitcase down three flights of small stairs was a bit of a challenge, but not the worst thing. Also, I believe I booked a room with one big double bed, but I got a room with two singles instead. I didn’t mind this because I am travelling alone and it gave me space to put my things on but something to keep in mind maybe for other travelers. It was also a little difficult, figuring out how to first enter the door when I arrived so maybe having instructions on your check-in message about how to use the buzzer would be helpful for future guests.

It was a very hot day and I arrived drenched in sweat so the working air conditioning was a life saver. There were enough coffee pods which was great. It was easily accessible from the tube station. It was quiet and clean Accessible power outlets I’d definitely stay there when I come on another short work trip Great value for money considering the location and time of year

It would be nice if the accepted contactless cards so I could pay the deposit with my phone as I can’t remember the last time I carried cash or a physical card, but the staff were helpful and inputted my card details into their machine I was on the 4th floor so getting my steps I was great but just be aware if there are mobility issues

Location. Kitchenette available with mugs and plates and cutlery (2 of each in a double room) so you could make your own breakfast. A/C available which was most welcome as it was very hot during our stay.

Several rooms are in the basement or lower ground, as ours was, so there was a smell of damp in the room. Can be a bit dark, but this wasn't really a problem for us, as we were out and about during the day. I wouldn't recommend for a romantic weekend but it is an ideal base for visiting London. Close to Regents Park for a lovely walk.

I would stay again. It was difficult to figure out if i was at the exact location because there was no signage, the door buzzer didn't work and the phone number on booking.com was not correct. The guy who met me wasnt particularly friendly. However, the cleaners' attention to detail was excellent. The room was exactly what I needed. it would have been nicer to have some more cooking utensils i.e. sharp knife and wooden spoon. Pack in your case if you can.

The arrival process. The person greeted me seemed like he was inconvenienced, the card machine wasn't working so I had to find him the next day to put a hold on my card as a deposit, and the second day it wasn't working either. the outside door to my building wasn't locked, so anyone could have wandered into our building.
