The property was very clean and the location was also really good. The staff was absolutely great! Don’t want to put this as a negative as it is not, I just want people to be aware that during checkout, if you want to keep your bags at the hotel, you might face an extremely long queue as many people use this option (so factor in around 20 min to get this done).

Keep in mind there’s no A/Cs so I hope you won’t be there during a heatwave cause it gets quite unbearable (there’s a fan in the room, but we know these don’t work in heatwaves), and opening the windows is a bit tricky as the area is quite noisy.

The hotel is located in a very convenient spot right next to the Russell Square park and a few steps away from the underground station. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around the area and if that is not enough, there are buses operating frequently to various locations in Central London. The area feels safe and peaceful. The hotel facilities are good - the room is clean, the beds are comfortable and there are ample options for breakfast. Hotel staff are welcoming and helpful. Overall, this hotel has everything you need for a short-term sightseeing trip in London. We would definitely return again.

The rooms on the top floor are quieter but hotter and there is no air conditioning, luckily the fan can save the situation a little during 30 degree temperatures.

Great location and beautiful area, less than 20min walk from/to St. Pancras and 6 min to the British museum and close to Russel Square metro station. I will go back to this hotel next time I am in London. Many stores around. The bathroom was small but this is usual in London when you are looking for an affordable price. Some of the staff at the reception were polite, but some others were rather indifferent. Great breakfast, huge variety to choose from, including English breakfast! We checked out on a Sunday morning and we waited around 20min -even though the service was fast- in a queue to hand the luggage at storage, it was extremely busy, with too many people wanting to store their luggage.

There was only one chair in the room, while we were two people staying. The bathroom could have been cleaner.

The truth is that we were surprised by the hotel. The hotel is in the stunning Bloomsbury neighborhood. The location is wonderful, a few minutes walk from Russell Square tube station, and Euston Square tube stations can also be reached on foot in less than fifteen minutes. Within a short walk you can also reach Oxford Street, the British Museum, St Pancras Railway Station and most of the main tourist sites. Soho and Covent Garden are about 20 minutes away on foot. The breakfast room is huge, with a fairly large selection and excellent service. Highly recommend for those who do not come during the hot summer months, because you should take into account that there are no air conditioners in the room.

The only drawback is the shower, as soon as you turn it on you do not feel a strong current. We had a problem with hot water when we got into the shower, but the hotel immediately sent a maintenance team and the matter was quickly resolved.

This hotel is in a brilliant location for anyone coming into St Pancras Station and is just a 10/15min walk. The hotel was lovely and so were the staff. The room was modern and clean, it wasn't a huge room but it was not small. We were there during really warm weather and the room was a nice temperature. Breakfast had a good selection on offer and was nice. Hotel was good value considering the area and the price of others close to it.

I read reviews and seen that people had mentioned about the noise at night so I knew to expect it but this was the best priced hotel in the area and although there is a lot of noise in the evening and at night from the outdoor bar and restaurant in the grounds, the value we got and quality of the hotel still made our stay worth it.

- Really good location (we actually used buses mostly and some points of interest were within walking distance) - nicely sized room with a window - comfortable beds - very good value for money (in my opinion)

- the online check in didn't work as expected, specifically the e-key cards didn't work properly and we were given a regular hotel key card to our room. Thankfully, a staff member was present at the reseption desk and resolved this issue for us in no time. - the room lacks some kitchen features - there is a kettle, but no mini fridge/ microwave. The room is not suitable for storing food items such as yogurts/cheese. - very little hanging space in the bathroom for towels and clothes, and addition of a hanger or two would be great (this happens in many hotels, but still).

This hotel is very well located, a few minutes from Russell Square tube station. The room was spotless, with an iron and ironing board, tv, safe etc. The shower was great and the bathroom clean and well stocked. Check in was smooth and fast and extra pillows delivered straight away. The staff we met were absolutely lovely.

No air conditioning, which made the bathroom a bit stuffy, but it was such a small thing. Overall, this was a great stay in a reasonably priced hotel, so no complaints.

From day 1 of arrival, the welcome, the check-in, the security concept, the outstandingly well-equipped room (and bathroom), to the very rich buffet in the morning to the check-out (and suitcase storage) on the last day - everything went as you would like in a four-star hotel. The person is consistently very friendly and helpful. Questions and concerns are quickly answered and resolved. The security is not only ensured by the key card system, but also by the nice gentlemen who make sure that every guest can safely return to his (own) room around them. In addition, you can rent an umbrella on rainy days. And you should not be afraid to just ask for tips for an excursion or a restaurant. All staff really try to make the stay as unforgettable as you want. In my case, I would like to thank a big thank you to an employee named Anand. Unfortunately, I only got to know his kindness and helpfulness shortly before my departure. As a non-Englishwoman, whose mother tongue is a different one, it was a very pleasant and exciting conversation that I was allowed to have with him. Unfortunately very much too short. But because of his warm and attentive nature, he represented the hotel so well and prepared the perfect end to my stay. Should Anand read this, I hope we can continue the conversation at some point. Then my sincere thanks to everyone in the hotel. I am looking forward to my next visit in the course of this year. Thank you 🙏

I can list any criticisms.

Breakfasts were fresh, offered comprehensive choice, and were tasty and nutritious. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly, courteous and always helpful without being intrusive. Rooms in City Sleeper were well designed and modern. The en suite provision was good: functional and well planned. Lack of air conditioning was generally compensated for by effective heating and an openable window. Lighting in the room was intelligently located. Altogether then, we found this to be a very pleasant and well-managed hotel in an excellent location. For example, the number 14 bus two minutes walk away provides frequent transport to many desirable parts of the city.

We found the duvets rather heavier than we desired, the alternative being to remove the duvet from its cover and to use a large sheet over it as no rugs or blankets were available. Provision of an alternative - eg, a throw - would be a worthwhile solution here.

The location of the hotel is excellent: very close to the British Museum, Pancras Station and Soho are accessible on foot. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable, water pressure is great, and the staff are lovely and so helpful.

The noise. The windows do nothing to stop noise coming from the street and the courtyard. It feels like they are constantly open, and, if your room faces the courtyard, you will hear people partying, shouting, and talking loudly all throughout the night. Bring earplugs!
