The facilities at the hotel fulfilled all my requirements, and though you are sharing a bathroom there is one on each landing so its only between 3 rooms and I never had to wait. The hotel is clean and tidy and is in a great place - not just for visiting all the main things in London but also within its own area there are loads of places to eat and drink. Was also really helpful that I could leave my bag in a safe area for a few hours after check-out before my journey home. The chap who ran the hotel was very helpful indeed.

Kudos! Peaceful Nights: If you’re seeking a peaceful escape from the city buzz, this is the place. My room was surprisingly quiet, allowing for restful nights. The absence of street noise or disturbances made all the difference. A true sanctuary after a day of exploring London. Friendly Staff: The staff at Albany Hotel deserve a special mention. From check-in to check-out, they were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Whether I needed local recommendations or assistance with my luggage, they were there with a smile. Excellent customer service!

Arrival Time Advisory: Here’s a heads-up for future guests: The front door may be locked during certain hours. To avoid any inconvenience, make sure to notify the hotel of your arrival time. A quick call or email will ensure a smooth check-in process. Room Comfort and Maintenance: While the rooms are cozy and suitable for solo travelers, I noticed that they could use a little sprucing up. The decor feels a tad dated, and some minor maintenance would go a long way. However, I must emphasize that they were kept impeccably clean throughout my stay.

I loved it It was everything I could Wish for: good location and cheap! And you get what you pay for... That is what every person with a brain should understand. The Bed was a death trap. Room old and dirty. But: cheap and Good location was what I wanted and Thats what I got. Stayed 2 nights.

You must check in before 23.30, or they charge 20 GBP extra. Was a bit stressful for me.

Excellent location close to three stations, restaurants shops etc , nice staff, very good price , clean and nice bathrooms. Very easy to commute and I saved a lot of money. I’ll definitely book it again whenever I come to London.

Wonderful staff, always welcoming and smiling. Felt safe and secure at all times, compared to similar hotels I've previously been accommodated to. Although there is outdated furniture all over the place, they seem to seek to improve the place - the shared bathroom at the first floor, for instance, is newly refurbished and always clean and nice.

In the morning, all the builders working around the courtyard seem to have their chatting sessions in a loud voice. But I guess this is just the London-normal-kind-of-life.

The family room is very high end for a 2-star hotel and I enjoyed the space, all for myself. But keep in mind, it can accommodate four people if needs be. The double bed mattress needs some freshening up after my last stay but nothing really major.

The mattress on the double bed needs a refurb but not too bad :) Wifi reception in the bathroom of the family room is so and so.

Value for money, I only needed a bed and shower & for the price, it ticked all the boxes. We lent a phone charger, free of charge & returned when leaving. No fuss.

The staff didn't speak great English. But, enough to get by, which in the end wasn't a problem.

Staff was quick to respond to requests and very helpful when one of the family members was ill.

While in a great location, the rooms themselves are a little old.

The staff was really lovely and kind, they provided a lovely cot for my baby to sleep safely, rooms was comftable and had everything needed bathrooms great. Thank you albany hotel me and My family loved it

I have no complaints

Room was basic but clean, tidy & everything worked, plenty of plug sockets, a nice big room for the 4 of us ( 2 adults & 2 teens). En-suite looked like it had been recently done up. Checking in was simple & the staff member was helpful and polite. We wanted somewhere in close proximity to st Pancras as we were booked on an early Eurostar & it was perfect, less than a 15 min stroll away. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. Place is a little tatty round the edges but totally acceptable for our requirements & was a very good price for a stay in central London, would use again & recommend as long as your not looking for modern!

Instructions on how to make the tv work would’ve been really useful! It was hot and there was no opening windows.
