The location, convenient for St Pancras International, and the Piccadilly line. The well disposed and spotlessly clean little single room. The hotel is just a little bit of from the main hroughfares, this is quiet. And it feels safe. Only hotel guests and staff will enter. Good, hot, filter coffee,thougha little on the week side.

Not sure really. The buffet in the breakfast room is in a narrow passage and it feels a little crowded. Nowhere in the bathroom to put your washbag. Nowhere in the washstand to put a glass. The rather narrow bed is separated about 10 cm from the wall, and it is easy to drop something there. I would have preferred to have the bed tight against the wall.

The George Hotel was kept meticulously clean and nicely decorated. The young woman at the receptionist desk when I arrived November 27 was professional and very amiable. I had a single room which was not huge but had plenty of room for a single person. The bed was comfortable. There was a rack on which to hang clothes and place my toiletry bag and several other items. There was an area beneath the rack where I stored my luggage. There was a desk with several drawers in which to store clothing, toiletries,etc. Tea making facilities were always kept replenished. There was a comfortable chair I used to sit at the desk. Cartwright Gardens is just across the street from the hotel. It has tennis courts and benches on which to sit. Bridget’s Pub is a nice pub in which to have a meal and a drink. The breakfast which was included in my room rate was delicious with many items from which to chose. Dorka who appeared to be one of those overseeing the operations kept everything running smoothly. The George Hotel is centrally located and just a 10 minute walk to St. Pancras and Kings Cross Rail Stations.

There was not anything I did not like about The George.

Really enjoyed our stay in the George Hotel. The location was brilliant for us as we arrived by train and it took only 10 easy minutes from King's Cross. The location was so good we didn't even bother to use public transport as you can walk to the British Museum through Russell Square Park (15 mins), West End (25 mins) and the River Thames (35 mins). We asked for a front facing bedroom looking over trees and tennis courts. It was lovely hearing people playing tennis in the middle of London! The receptionists, the breakfast staff and cleaning staff were excellent and never intrusive but helpful and polite. We wanted somewhere convenient, clean with good, basic facilities and that's exactly what we got. Will definitely book again when visiting London. The family also run Mentone Hotel just one door down (I liked the fact it has been and still is a family run hotel after 50 years).

Helpful Staff, really comfy bed and great breakfast done buffet style. If you want the Piccadilly line don't bother heading up to Kings Cross 5-6 mins walk just turn right and head to Russell Square tube station a quick 2 minute walk. Pubs around the area are great too.

It's not what I didn't like it's what I am unhappy with now. I want to book again at your hotel but any date I choose you now have to pay upfront and breakfast is not included. I only stay where I can get free cancellation and pay nearer the time and with breakfast included, as it gives me peace of mind in case plans change. This is a real shame as I would love to stay here again but I am unlikely to if you keep it as pay upfront.

The staff are very friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near St Pancras Station. Overall, it’s a nice place, although the room was quite basic—but I didn’t expect much more in London at a reasonable price. The breakfast was average, though I should mention that English breakfast isn’t really my cup of tea. It’s a small, old-style hotel with actual room keys, which adds a bit of charm.

There was no mini-fridge in the room, and in a hurry, I forgot my medication in the fridge at reception—but the staff kindly kept it safe for me.

Breakfast was really good, liked that it was a buffet as meant we could pick and choose what we wanted each morning. Also a good selection of things to choose from. Rooms and bathroom were also really clean.

Bathroom was compact and like a wet room which was fine. However the shower curtain was a foot too short so when you showered water got all over the rest of the floor. Would be better having a longer shower curtain. Also you only get three towels, one for each person and then a towel to dry your hands in the bathroom. Would be nice to have an extra towel in the bathroom to be able to dry off the floor. We did ask reception however house keeping then kept taking the extra towel away when they did their daily clean. Got awkward having to ask again for the towel to dry the floor.

Proximity to the tube and St Pancras station, about 10 min walking distance. Check-in was smooth, we were there earlier and they stored our luggage. The receptionists were friendly and polite. We stayed in a quadruple room. The room is based on the underground floor, so it was a bit noisy as we were facing the street but nothing major. The room was modern and clean, it had all the essentials, including a kettle with a selection of coffee and tea. The breakfast was nice, English breakfast as well as a selection of cereals, pastries, bread, jams, and yoghurt. The breakfast staff was very attentive and polite, the maintain the breakfast area spotless and were replacing missing items/foods. Fast check-out, good value for money!

Some more towels in the room, we were only provided with one shower towel per guest.

The hotel was very clean and obviously recently refurbished. The outside of the building is lovely. It was very close to walk to Euston station and the Crescent it is on is very beautiful with a lovely small park next to it. My room was upgraded on arrival which was a nice surprise as I had lots of space - which I didn't expect in London! The TV was large and in working order. The bathroom was clean and finished to a high standard. Breakfast was reasonable with hot and cold options which were mostly fine.

The staff were efficient but could have been a little friendlier. My room was in the basement at the front of the property so I was woken in the night by passers by and the tube going underneath. But if you're used to living in a big city (which I'm not anymore) you probably won't find this a problem. The room was a little chilly but as I was staying only one night this wasn't too much of a problem.

Easy to find, good location, close to Euston, friendly staff, quiet room, very small and basic but everything you need for a night or two base in London. We pretty much showered and slept and left so not a huge use. We were on the ground floor and I feared it would be noisy but it was fine.

Room was very hot, but fortunately could open the windows as we were on the ground floor, not sure about higher up. Still pricey for the room, I know it's London but £170 for one night, the most basic room really. Only one bedside table on one side of the bed. No hand towels in the bathroom only 2 towels for showering. Not a big deal but could be better I guess.

I would recommend this hotel. We arrived into Euston station from Glasgow for a 2 night break. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the station and Kings Cross too. It's on a quiet tree-lined street but so close to restaurants and train/metro. We arrived early and received a nice welcome and were allowed to leave our bags and the receptionist also allowed us to check in a bit earlier after checking that our room was ready. The room was very small but to be expected for the location. The bed was comfy and all amenities were great, there were toiletries and hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, great shower. The breakfast exceeded our expectations for a small hotel, the staff in charge of breakfast were super welcoming and responsive to guests queries and everything was kept stocked up and refreshed. There was a wide range of hot and cold buffet items and vegetarian/vegan/gluten free items could be provided on request. We were able to leave our bags after check out with no additional charges which was very appreciated.

Nothing, I would happily stay here again :-)
