Great location - short walking distance from St Pancras Station. Services by reception staffs are prompt & helpful. Key to use toilet after check out too bulky to carry & also no place in toilet to put. Good to provide a string to hang it on door knob or hook on wall or door.

The rooms and bathrooms are pretty standard but the staff is an unexpected and super positive experience. There is a real cafe in the reception area which serves great food (hot and cold), beer and drinks, as well as breakfast. The service provided by the staff is at the level you'd expect for a well-rated restaurant. I enjoyed sitting there for a while to work. There was also a waterfilling station. Apart from all this greatness, communication was excellent and started long before my arrival. Highly recommended!

No curtains on the beds which is really all that is missing.

Smooth check-in, clean facilities and excellent location. It's a perfect place for a solo traveler, less than 5 min. walk from St. Pancras Station and across the street from the British Library. You can rent a towel for £3 and there are storage lockers under every bed, so bring your own padlock.

Only one downside: it was very hot in the room (beginning of August), so we had to keep the window open, which meant we could hear the busy street well into the night. Don't forget your earplugs!

Great location, Good price, Safety, Comfort

Carrying the luggage out of the room after my first day of 2 days stay. I asked the receptionist if I can leave the luggage in the room in locked lockers, but she told I have to take it out. I then asked if she can keep the luggage and the procedure seems too long..decided to carry it with me. This is easy to improve allowing luggage in same room for more than one night stay. No hanger compartments to hang the formal dress, it crumbles with no proper facility.

Great Location across St Pancras International. Staff was friendly. They assigned a top bed, and they changed me to a lower bed when I asked. The bed was ok. It had a metal frame, so it was noisy and was moving a lot when the person on top was moving too much.

The shower drain was clogged. Towel not included. You had to pay £3. There were signs promoting travelers to meet other travelers, but I was in a room with 2 other people who were not travelers. It looked like they were in London for work. They were very respectful and quiet and minding their own business. However, the fact that they were not travelers changed the vibe of the atmosphere completely.

Kabannas is really well located, which means it's super convenient to get around central London and surrounding areas. The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable. Some noise from the street is to be expected (it's central London, after all!) but that means we had an amazing view of St Pancras from our dorm window!

Through no fault of the hostel, there was an individual in our dorm that left the room dirty and untidy which was a shame! However, the cleaning staff did a great job of tidying and cleaning up the room afterward this person had left. The shower could do with an update as the drain in the shower itself was really slow and so it became more of a wet room than a bathroom.

✔️ Helpful and friendly staff ✔️ having a private bathroom in the female dorm was a huge plus ✔️ lift going to all the floors. This may seem minor but after a full day of travelling it’s a game changer to not have to carry bags up 5 flights of stairs.

⭕️ Towels not included- you have to pay extra. I find this a bit sneaky, considering no one travels with a towel so you’re forced to pay the extra £3. I feel that this should be included in the overnight fee. ⭕️ it would have been nice if there was a little kitchenette to make tea/coffee with a microwave to warm food up. But there is only the option to buy meals or coffee at the restaurant- not to make your own.

Easy check-in and professional staff. Excellent location 3 minutes walk from St Pancras railway station and 8 minutes walk from Euston station. Beds are confortable, each have a light, power plug and USB port. There is a full ensuite plus extra bathrooms off the corridor. A nice bonus is the mirror in the room which frees up the ensuite. For £2 they will store your luggage on your check out/in day while you explore London. They also have a book swap shelf and board game. For the price this hostel is a good option.

Everything except the reception area is small. The lift is tiny, if you travel with luggage on wheels you will have to wait to get the lift by yourself to fit in. There are two lifts. The corridors are narrow and the rooms are small and filled with beds. The roll-out cage under the bed for luggage is small, my small backpack had to be emptied! The backpackers who brought suitcases could not use the cages so the remaining free space in the room was filled with luggage. I could barely walk from my bed to the window. The shower drain was completely blocked, the water overflowed into the rest of the bathroom.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location - close to underground, bus stops and Rail station. Food and drinks availability. Breakfast availability.

In room and in bathroom could be some hooks or something, where I could hung clothes, towel, toiletry bag. Bin in room could be bigger or maybe two bins. A little seat or bedside table next of bed would be practical and quite useful. In dining room will be useful little basin to have a possibility to wash hands before breakfast.
