A great place to visit in Toronto as this is very much a piece of the city's history. The design/aesthetic of the building really speaks to the time it was built, but with modern enough updates that it doesn't feel dated. Our room was lovely and spacious, with a nicely sized bathroom and a generous wardrobe space (could esdoly store 2 luggage cases and hang clothes). We were visiting in July so we're also incredibly grateful for the air-conditioning. The hotel is right in the heart of Downtown Toronto so it's very easy to get around. There are also plenty of coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel offers breakfast and other food options - the only reason we didn't try these was that we had a list of places we wanted to visit. The staff in the front desk and ina housekeeping were all incredibly polite, professional and helpful. They made our stay so easy and simple. Big thank you to Riya for getting out checkout down promptly so that we could get on our way to Niagara.

Location was excellent, right in the middle of it all for walking all around downtown Toronto, lots of public transport options too. Hotel was quaint and had a boutique feel, recently renovated with attention to the charming, old style decor. Room was comfy, quiet and roomy, appreciated the smart TV & kettle, had all the necessary amenities so no complaints there.

only one elevator but can't expect differently as it is an historical building. would have liked free breakfast option given the price was pretty high, but I think there was some event going on in Toronto during those days because the hotel prices were pretty expensive. shower was a little dated and rickety, could use an refurbishment.

The location of the hotel is great, especially if you want to visit the financial district, downtown Yonge or the CN tower. It was also great for us to take the ferry to the Toronto Islands. The staff was also very nice and helpfull. We arrived in the morning and they kept our luggage until they could give us our room and they came immediately with the additional bed and towels. Even if we had an adicional bed and our luggage in the room, it was still big enough not to fiel uncomfortable.

We were expecting to be able to stop the car momentarily in front of the hotel in order to drop our luggage before driving to the parking. However it was not possible. In any case it was due to some works going on in the street and nothing really the hotel could do something about. .

This charming hotel is literally around the corner from the King St station of the subway and a 5-minute walk from Canadian Stage’s Berkeley Street Theater, which was a destination for us. (For those driving to Toronto, it’s also conveniently located two blocks north of Gardiner Expressway and literally on top of Commerce Center parking garage.) Staff was super-friendly, lobby area was delightful (felt like an English sitting room), our room was small but well-appointed (including an actual box of Kleenex!), bathroom was modern and surprisingly roomy for an older building. Lots of character combined with up-to-date comfort, plus convenience! Will definitely stay again.

Because it is an older building, elevator is small & slow and the only ice machine I found was in the basement. (Note: I did not ask staff if there was one closer to our seventh-floor room.)

The hotel was in the middle of the city, easy to get around by public transit as well as very walkable. The staff was friendly and the building had a unique quality to it. You could tell it was a historic buuilding. We were able to find great places to eat nearby, were within walking distance of the Hockey Hall of Fame, Union Station, the Rogers Center, and more. We would stay again.

We loved the hotel overall, but would note that the rooms are a bit on the smaller side. We were fine with this, but if you need more space and ammenities this is not for you. There was no mini fridge as well. For us, we appreciated the historic and uniqueness of the space but would understand if others wanted a more streamlined/standard hotel.

Really lovely, original Toronto hotel, centrally located for Downtown & Old Toronto, also super close to Railway Station & CN tower. Lots of good restaurants & bars nearby. Comfy bed & pillows, good air con plus an Iron & ironing board in the room was super handy! Staff were very friendly, helpful & professional.

There was nothing we didn’t like, it was very good, but if we were pressed to suggest how it could be improved, it would be a safety deposit box in the room & a comfy chair.

Nice boutique hotel with an interesting history. Good location for us. Bed was very comfortable, linens and towels were pure white hence very clean. Barman was nice and friendly. Would I stay there again? Yes, but just be more careful and enquiring when I booked.

Was disappointed in no wardrobe, or chairs (apart from desk chair) to sit in and no bath, which wasn’t what was advertised. I did say to the guy on reception that we were disappointed in that facilities didn’t live up to advertising. Not sure he really cared, ‘the manager isn’t on until tomorrow’ that was it. An offer of a couple of chairs would have been nice. No follow up, I mentioned to the female, next morning, she apologised. Need some brochures on Toronto, and services available, ie ice machine in basement. I’m not sure hanging the main overhead light on a hook from the ceiling, with the cord hanging off the wall is a good idea.

I thought the staff were very friendly and helpful and had a pride in "their" hotel. The food in the Mossop eating area was good and fresh and a big improvement on the pre-pandemic hotel. The foyer is interesting and has lots of history.

WE couldn't get the tv to work and there was no technician on site. Front desk tried to help and finally the issue was partly solved. WE appreciated the complimentary breakfast to make up for our movie-less night.

Excellent location, friendly staff who helped us check into the room earlier (for half the price). There is water with lemon, lounge chairs and a cafe in the hall. The room was clean and warm. There was soap, shampoo, lotion. Also a kettle with a set of tea, sugar and coffee.

There was not at least one bottle of drinking water in the room. There was also no hair dryer, which was very uncomfortable. Very noisy heating and air conditioning system. Also during the day when the cleaners go around the rooms to clean everything you can hear in the room.

The service at the front desk, the restaurant and by housekeeping. Front desk manager Sundar and shift assistants (both named Aisha) were extremely helpful and accommodating. Housekeeping paid great attention to detail. We also enjoyed the cuisine at the restaurant. Kudos to the chef for her interesting blend of flavours. The location is superb: near Union Station and many tourist spots. And we love the decor. All the different sections of the lobby are Instagrammable, and the Victorian kettle in the room is a pleasing touch.

Nothing. We liked everything about Hotel Victoria.
