The best thing about staying at Le Meridien Visconti was the staff--each and every one of them was excellent: Francesco, who checked me in and Olga who checked me out and the lovely ladies who tried to help me find a cable to fit my cell phone! The doorman, who got us our daily taxis, was also wonderful, but I'm afraid didn't catch is name. The water station was also a good idea. There was bottled water in the room and then you could refill the bottles at the water station down the hall--still or sparkling.

I don't usually stay in such expensive hotels, but I was traveling with family and this is where they wanted to stay. I'm not complaining, it was worth the price, I just usually don't spend that much.

Location

I have stayed here before and the reason I booked again. However, at a late time, close to 24 hours, with flight changes I realized we would not land in time to make our first night reservation. I sent an email just before the flight took off to cancel first night. We were quite disappointed not to be able to stay two nights. Our cancellation was rejected. Therefore it cost me over $1,000 for one night stay. I have to go back to Roma this weekend and asked if it could go toward one of those nights. I was told no. So I’m staying somewhere else.

Great location in Prati - all the main attractions are within walking distance. The rooms were spacious, quiet, very clean, with comfortable beds. The staff were really helpful and made us feel very welcome on arrival in Rome.

We opted out of breakfast, as felt that EUR20 per person was quite expensive. There are a number of lovely local bakeries nearby that we visited instead for our breakfast.

Great location, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, front desk staff friendly and very helpful.

Housekeeping failed to restock room with adequate supply of toilet paper. Music for indoor seating on rooftop bar was too loud to have a conversation and staff said they could not turn it down.

Location is great, staff was very friendly. Breakfast is average for this hotel category.

Check-in only at 3pm sharp possible (in line with their commitment, to be fair) but room was free at 10am already per the front desk. Not what I am used to from Intercontinental/Hilton in terms of customer service.

Housekeeping was not satisfactory. Cleaning of the room was just routine, the personnel did not refill basic stuff like water, coffee pads, small towels, even one day the trash in bathroom was not disposed

Fantastic location, spacious room, and staff was great. Love the modern design and comfort.

The breakfast was not up to the rest of the hotel offerings - it was very standard “tourist” eggs and bacon with limited fresh and organic foods.

Efficiency of the staff from reception to restaurant. Reasonably large, clean and comfortable room. Restaurant on terrace, 7 floors, good atmosphere and quality drinks, wine.

The menu in the roof top restaurant has no hot meals, very limited in terms of the food.

I liked the rooms were clean and comfortable. Close proximity to landmarks, restaurants and metro. Staff was hospitable and friendly.

The shower has a weird door set up. Breakfast was the same exact thing every day.
