Very private, small room but cozy , we spent little time in there only to shower and sleep, we were out most of the time , but the location was excellent, walking distance from everything, restaurants really close , nice building, in my opinion very safe, we will definitely recommend to our friends. We did a self check in , all the instructions were clear , we enter the property late at night and everything was ready for us , very nice place for a short vacation ❤️❤️❤️

This hotel was the most pleasant surprise we did not expect. We stayed in Rome for 3 nights mid-April, and it rained almost the whole time we were there… so we were happy to have such a great home base in River Luxury Suites! We had read reviews that the front desk staff was hard to locate and never there when you needed them - don’t let this scare you off. We had everything we needed and zero issues entering the property and accessing our suite. If you’re looking for a quiet, no fuss stay in central Rome, this is it. The property is in sort of a residential building on the 4th floor with just a few suites, so it was nice and quiet. The elevator is a little scary at first but once you get the hang of it, it’s fun! The room itself had super high ceilings, a nice big bed and great air conditioning. Lots of space to hang your clothes and unpack a few suitcases. The street view was meh but the location was truly excellent. Just far enough away from the busy streets of Rome but still so close to everything you could possibly need. We walked everywhere - the Vatican, the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Trevi fountain, all within walking distance. At the end of every day, we looked forward to returning to River Luxury - the sign of a great hotel. Would 100% return and will be recommending River Luxury Suites to our friends!

The only downside is that we wish there had been better shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

Everything was lovely, I would stay again! The hotel was easy to find and locate on the third floor of the building, the staff were really kind and helpful and they were even able to clean our room around midday when we would leave for the day. The lift was easy to use and super fast, not scary at all like some reviews I had read. In terms of location it's around a 20/25 min walk to get to your attractions for us this was fine as we loved to walk to see more of the city but there was also a bus stop only a 4 min walk away which we would use often too! The room was a great size for 2 of us, comfy bed, lots of space for clothes, an iron and board, lovely bathroom, shower was great and also a a large mirror in the room and a full length one right outside which was great for us girlies. I'd rate it a 9/10 for what you pay!

Would be nice if there was maybe a vending machine or microwave area for heating up food and getting snacks / water

The room was just as in the picture if not better. It was very clean. The location was perfect, everything was close by. The staff was very kind and accommodating. They even prepared a veryyyyy early check in for us. It exceeded all my expectations. Kudos to the staff and the owners. P.s. mini bar prices where cheaper then everywhere I went, like this has never happened before hahahah.

Late check-in went smoothly, as they had sent prior instructions by email. The building in which the bnb is located is quite luxurious and clean. The room was comfortable and had all the essentials. The lady at the reception was also amiable and always greeted us and asked if we needed anything. The location is good. We walked to the center every day.

No cafes or restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel but we found plenty of options after a couple of blocks. Not a negative thing just to let people know.

Room was very spacious and bed was so comfortable. The bathroom and shower are clean and modern. Staff were really friendly. Location is perfect, walking distance to everything.

Only let down was we paid extra for a room with a smart TV expect it had no Netflix, Disney etc only. Would have liked black out curtains or even blinds as room got very bright early in the morning.

It was a cute quiet place. Located very close to the river and walking was easy to many areas. It also had lots of little neighborhood restaurants. It was nice to get away from the heavy crowds on the other side of the river.

It would have been nice to have a couple chairs to sit at. There was a desk with one chair but otherwise you had to sit on the bed if you were in the room hanging out.

Location. Cleanliness. Comfortable bed. Opening windows. Cute cafe bar next door.

It was noisy at night. Garbage pickups, street cleaning at night. We did not receive clear instructions on where to find the suites within the building, did not know where to go in the courtyard and which floor you were on. Asked someone and got the answer, so we made it.

- Room was very clean when we arrived and cleaned very well again halfway through our stay on request. - Joy is fantastic; when we messaged her on WhatsApp around 9pm saying our safe had accidentally been locked without a code being set, she called immediately to help us get access to it. Super sweet. - We were able to both check-in after hours and check-out before hours. (The city tax was paid on the second day as we headed out for breakfast. The man at the desk was very nice.) - The air-con in the room is AMAZING. Only took 15 minutes to get to 20 degrees Celsius when it was 40 outside— lifesaver in July!! - The smart (?) tv had a variety of apps pre-installed such as Netflix and YouTube that we could sign into. Also lots of Italian channels available, although only a handful are in English (we found news, a pets channel, and an art channel). - We absolutely love the vintage elevator in the building. It’s really charming and also has smooth movements— no jerky stops or starts. - I loved being able to unlock the front door via my phone. It felt so fancy. - The street is super quiet and not nearly as trashy as the more touristy ones nearby. There’s also a water fountain on the sidewalk for if you forget to fill your bottle in the bathroom.

- The water in our shower was very cold in the morning (but always fine in the evenings). - One of the bedside lamps wasn’t fully attached to the wall. - The remote control for the tv is very complicated to use, but that isn’t the guest house’s fault.

The hotel was centrally located to where we needed to be for the day tours we had booked in. The rooms were a good size, being spacious, modern and well laid out. The bed & pillows were comfortable and welcoming.

Perhaps it was just the room we chose but the review and description on the website says all rooms offer stupendous views over River Tiber and the city scape. This seemed to be an inaccurate description, we could not see the river at all from our hotel room window. True the hotel is closely located to the river but we didn’t have any views from our room.
