Location was great, easy to walk to all the attractions. Great restaurants on that side of the river

The location was excellent as we were able to walk to all the main attractions. The Vatican was less than half an hour on foot. The street where the hotel is located is not too busy and we had a peaceful nights sleep for the duration of our stay. Staff were very helpful and we were able to leave our luggage after checking out so we could go for lunch before departing.

Room facilities were basic and the shower was in need of a refresh but this was taken into consideration considering the price and location so no complaints.

Very central location and close to Vatican and Trevi fountain and Spanish steps - approx 20 minutes walk to each attraction. Hotel was comfortable with great WiFI and had complementary coffee/tea and cake. Staff were extremely helpful.

I had booked a non smoking room and was give one that was stinking of smoke which was disappointing.

The staff were very accommodating and always tried their best to make our stay comfortable. The location was excellent for getting around and the area felt safe for walking day or night. There was espresso coffee available pretty much all day near the registration desk along with small cookies and snacks. They even had lactose-free milk which they heated up for me! The cost was very reasonable.

The room we had was quite small and the bathroom very small (including a rather narrow shower) though our friends who stayed in the corner room next to ours had a larger room with a larger bathroom. Also, our air conditioning never worked though the hotel has someone come to look at it 2 or 3 times. Again, our friends were able to get their AC working.

The staff was really nice, kind, informative and helpfull! Everybody was willing to help us and tried his best! Since our flight back home was at 18.30, after the check out, they allowed us to leave our luggages there and collect them before leaving for the airport. We appreciated that very much! Also, we loved the decoration of the hotel. The location was amazing! It was a 10 min walk from Piazza Navona, really close to the city center and next to the Tiber!

The only negative I could note is that the hotel as a whole (excepting the reception area), including our room was a bit cold and the airconditioning did not work in our room. However we had been given blankets so we were not cold during the night.

This is a beautiful old hotel that would have been the height of luxury in its early days. We requested two rooms to accommodate two adults and two teenagers and stayed four nights. The hotel has a lovely grand staircase and a reasonably sized elevator to access the upper floors. The staff were lovely and spoke excellent English and there was a staff member to meet us at the door on our arrival to help us with luggage and with navigating the hotel. Reception staff were always eager to help and they will happily book you a taxi service which arrives at the hotel within a few minutes! There is no restaurant at the hotel for meals, however there are tea, coffee and sweet and savoury snacks available all day at no charge at reception and rooms have tea and coffee making facilities as well as a good sized fridge. Both of our rooms were spacious and clean with daily servicing and linen changes if required. Beds were of a good size and comfortable and the linen was of good quality. Nice bathroom products were provided and we were impressed that they were all Italian made! Individual air conditioning units in each room were excellent and allowed us to adjust the temperature to our needs which was great. The hotel is in an excellent location - its in a very quiet part of the city but also within walking distance of most major attractions and landmarks. There are many great restaurants very close by (we loved Le Carre Francais just around the corner for coffee and breakfast) and a well-stocked supermarket just over the bridge. Also just across the bridge is the shopping district with all of the usual shops including designer stores. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

There wasn't really anything major, but the bathrooms could do with being updated.

The staff were very professional and welcoming, especially Alessia at the front desk, who went out of her way to provide us with helpful information. The hotel’s location is excellent: set in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood with convenient access to the city center by foot, train, or bus. We also really appreciated the complimentary coffee available at reception throughout the day. Overall, our stay was both comfortable and convenient, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I think this place doesn’t get enough credit. Was really hesitant based on reviews but had such a good stay. We were in the apartments away from the main hotel and it was very transparent with where we were located and it wasn’t even far at all- so I think some people maybe didn’t read the emails they sent. The location is fantastic.. really close to the Vatican and public transport. Bathroom was super clean. Definitely the room is a bit dated but was clean and beds were comfortable especially for the price we paid.

The time we visited in early May the hotel wasn’t allowed to put the aircon on due to government rules so it got a bit stuffy. The staff were really quick to reply about this so we understood. Definitely make sure there’s aircon if you go during the hot summer months. Our fridge also didn’t work .

Close to main attractions without being too busy. Tea and coffee available in the room. Staff were exceptionally nice and guided us to our room when we checked in, the free coffee and sweets at the reception desk were a bonus.

The room was not sound proof at all, you could hear absolutely everything at night and it was really loud :( The small fridge in the room unfortunately didn’t work. The aircon was unfortunately super dusty that clogged up our nose causing us to sneeze a-lot. Also very minor but the staff forgot to replenish coffee and milk one day but reception staff were super lovely and gave us extra if we needed.

The location was truly amazing. Walking distance to everything you need to see in Rome, but not the most touristy part of the city. The staff were very friendly, and the building itself was historic, and added a wonderful charm to our stay. The room was mostly clean and comfortable, and was surprisingly quiet at night. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Roman experience. Another plus was the price.

We chose the place in part because of free wifi, and the wifi coverage was a catastrophe. We were at the top floor and was farthest from the lobby, which may be the reason. Nevertheless this was the reason why the hotel didn't get a top grade.
