The hotel is in a fabulous part of Rome, close to bus routes that get you everywhere. The staff are wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable about their beautiful city. We had a great selection of breakfast options each morning to accommodate a variety of dietary needs. The staff were also very generous with helping us with our suitcases and storing them on our last day in Rome.

Our room was smallish (16m)….. but it is very comfortable. We weren’t in Rome to hang out in our room, so really, the size is perfectly reasonable for our needs. We did struggle to open both our suitcases at the same time as there was no floor space to do this. The bed was our only option. This meant we had to be well organised to access what we needed for each day, but, we had a great private balcony. The shower is separate and opposite to the bathroom, and not private at all. That’s fine for couples perhaps, but it meant my friend and I would leave our room and sit on our balcony so the other could shower in private.

We were in room 10 in the main building on 5th floor (the one with the reception): - comfortable bed, not too hard, not too soft. Pillows were a bit too big, but it's a personal preference; - size of the room was perfect for 2 people, even bigger than what we were expecting in Rome; - Bathroom was very big and comfortable. Towels and soap provided. Only thing was that the shower cabin was splashing a lot of water, so we had to be careful not to flood the whole floor. Good water pressure under the shower. - The room had a small fridge and a safe (small safe - does not fit a regular laptop); - We had access to a private balcony which was a great surprise; - Included breakfast was more than we expected. Italian breakfasts are rather sweet and full of carbs, so seeing some cheese, ham, yoghurt and fruit was a nice surprise; - Location was great, everything was within walking distance. Still if you want to take a public transport bus (eg. bus 87 takes you right in front of the Colosseum for Euro 1,5 per person), it's literally 1 min away. - Very friendly and pleasant staff; - Use the address provided in emails, not the one Google Maps shows as it takes you to the wrong side of the building.

We really enjoyed the location of the hotel, we could walk everywhere we liked. The room was a good size and it felt clean and fresh. It was nice with a common outside area even if we didn't sit there much.

We hade some trouble finding the hotel even when we where outside the door. The hotel is on the fifth floor of the building, so the rest of the building doesn't belong to the hotel. So there was just a very small sign. The breakfast felt a bit dry. It was okay but nothing special, we traveled with our daughter so a chair for children would have been appreciated. The breakfast area wasn't so big so when it was raining and everyone wanted to sit inside there wasn't room for everyone. It would have been helpful if the staff could understand a bit more english.

Nice, cozy hotel with a great location!! All attractions are within walking distance. The breakfasts are quite tasty, the rooms are clean, and the view from the balcony is wonderful. The only slightly confusing part is that the rooms are on one side of the building, while the reception and breakfast area are on the other — but that’s not really a problem. The staff was very friendly and always happy to help. You can also leave your suitcase for a while after check-out. Special thanks for the umbrella.😉🫶

We had a very comfortable stay, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plenty and very good. As some comments mention, that the beautiful view is not from the hotel: It actually is! The hotel has 2 buildings. The main address where the reception is plus another entrance on the other side with more rooms, a small kitchen and a beautiful roof top terrace with exactly that city few over the river Tiber <3

The bathroom facilities are very old, leaky and not particularaly well looked after. But they worked ok and we spent anyways 90% of our time outside our room. So it was fine

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and well taken care of from the moment I arrived. They were always friendly and responsive, addressing any request immediately with a smile. The breakfast was a delicious, authentic Italian spread with good quality, and the entire place—from the room to the common areas—was impeccably clean. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

A few small improvements could make the experience even better: the balcony could use a bit more attention to upkeep, and having larger cups for breakfast would be a nice touch. However, these are minor details in what was otherwise a good stay.

Very nice and helpful staff. The room was clean and spacious with air conditioning. There was a small fridge in the room. The bathroom with a shower was clean. We got a room wth a terrase, which was a nice surprise. The breakfasts are tasty. Great location, with a bus stop under the hotel. Close to the metro. Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. I highly recommend this place for a convenient and central located stay in Rom.

Very noisy other guests, some arriving in the night making disturbing noise, behaving as if they would be alone there, and some waking up everybody at 7:15 on the weekend in the morning by feeling the need of shout out for their children, and explaining their whole life to the staff or each other on an extraordinary volume level. There is nothing the staff could do, or may be hanging out a sign with the request to the guest without any common sense - and there are many - to be pls silent in the period between 8 pm and 8 am.

The location was simply perfect. All the tourist sights were within walking distance from the hotel. It is best to walk when in Roma. The breakfast was very good with a good choice of food on offer. Coffee and other hot drinks were available all day. I would recommend this hotel.

When communicating information before arrival please state that Residenza Cavallini is located on the fifth floor. After leaving the taxi I spent a few minutes trying to locate the hotel as I was expecting to see the hotel name overhead an entrance door.

Location is amazing!! You have 10 minutes walking to everywhere. Carlos, the host, is friendly, helpful he made sure we have the best possible room. Breakfast is also very good! And the balcony with the beautiful view was a big plus! We spent lots of time there while hiding from the sun in the city.

Honestly, maybe rooms could get some sort of renovation like painting the room walls, new pillows...
