The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. Only criticism was the bathroom had mould around the shower door which didn't look very good, and there was some sort of leak in the bathroom floor between the vanity and the toilet. Would have said something when we left but there was no-one on reception when we left. It didn't cause any real issue, and just wanted to mention it. We had a full breakfast one morning which was good, but when we came down some of the food wasn't very hot. Was very nice however.

The room was what we expected with the bedroom TV and a chair and table with a shower room/toilet. The Tv included sky sports which was great. It contained everything we needed for the stay of two days - being winter we did not sit outside. We were able to park our car right outside our room. We did not use the pool, but it looked lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant and a bar meal in the bar while watching the rugby. Breakfast was available but we drove to town for a late breakfast. We left at 6:00 am in the morning on our second day so we had breakfast on our way home. We have stayed here before and will again.

There was very little we did not like - the bar food and bar operation were great. The hotel is a distance away from town, so walking was not an option for us. There are a number of interesting places to visit nearby including Greytown and Martinborough which we did.

The Staff in the main were excellent. I have stayed here before many times and always found the staff and the facilities excellent. However only 2 young girls were serving/running the Bar and restaurant area and they did not show much enthusiasm for their work

The room had not been serviced correctly. There was food in the fridge and faeces in the toilet bowel. When the room was serviced the following day our towels even though wet were folded and put back on the shelf -although this could have been because I hung them up rather than throw them on the floor. The toilet was left in quite a dirty state

Room was clean, comfortable and great to park outside the room.

Breakfast was slow, busy morning but still very slow for hot food to come out. Restaurant staff service was average, some friendly but the lady bringing the food out seemed grumpy and bothered that people were standing around waiting for hot breakfast. Bread wasn't replaced until you asked for it. Reception and housekeeping staff very friendly. Spa pool water very dirty.

We had a good size room, plenty of storage, comfortable beds and great lighting. -All of the staff that we dealt with were lovely and helpful. -The outdoor and indoor pools were great for the kids as well as the playground and arcade. -The location was close to town and easy to get to.

The shower in our bathroom had no dip so water spread everywhere as the only barrier was a curtain. Room 506 -The spa needed a clean, it stunk and the water was murky. -The fish tacos lacked flavour and the chocolate cheesecake was small and was more like a rich chocolate slice. Not worth the $41 paid for this room service (Sorry!)

The pool was pleasant and the spa was good.

The breakfast was a little disappointing. There were no eggs and we had to ask and wait for more. The rest of the breakfast was a bit cold. As we had found a menu online saying a la carte we were expecting that and it would have been preferable. We also got back from breakfast and found our outside door open when it had been locked when we left. Fortunately we had left the chain on so no one got in. Not sure what happened. I also feel a bit of a warning would have been helpful that the cycle race was starting at 10 from the hotel. It was tricky getting anyway near reception to check out due to all the cyclists using the front entrance for shade.

Stunning area, great staff, great opportunity to utilise facilities - so much available to do!

The restaurant was ok. The food itself from the menu was delicious, but it was a veeeerry slow delivery or kitchen. The buffet wasn’t particularly great, everything was cold/lukewarm, eggs not very nicely cooked, some nicer elements, but probably better ordering off menu or going to a cafe for breakfast.

The booking in receptionists were not friendly or inviting ....found a cocroach in the bathroom ...outdoor chairs and tables could be updated with shade affordable shade sales for a little sun cover ...our last stay last year we had our number plates on the car taken had to get new ones before leaving town and when I mentioned the situation and emailed what we had been through we got no interest or reply and again the receptionist was uninviting.and not interested...

x17 of our family stayed here over the weekend as Solway Park was my daughters choice of location to celebrate her 5th Birthday. The kid friendly resort has always been a getaway favourite since my parents first brought me here as a 4 year old 30+ years ago.

The overall size of the resort & activities keeps decreasing. From the good old days of playing on the Obstacle Course or having a round on the golf course. To the fun of the Driving Range now closed down. Outdoor Pool was unavailable to use also the option of a Private spa pool has sadly been removed.

Being on the ground floor, plenty of space, the happy family feel, the restaurant was lovely for dinner.

The carpark for our lovely unit was a long way from the unit for people with disabilities. However, our unit seemed far superior from the external ones, near the carpark as they only looked onto the carpark. We had a lovely outlook to the pools and the kids having fun.
